Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAR POLIETILENO MULTIMODAL, COMPOSIçãO DE POLIETILENO MULTIMODAL, E PELìCULA E ARTIGO FABRICADOS DA MESMA". A presente invenção inclui uma composição de polietileno multimodal tendo (1) uma densidade de pelo menos cerca de 0,940 9/CM¬ 3¬ como medida pela ASTM Método D-1505; (2) um índice de fluxo de fundido (I~ 5~) de cerca de 0,2 a cerca de 1,5 g/10 min (como medido pela ASTM D-1238, medido a 190<198>C e 5 quilogramas); (3) uma razão de índices de fundido (I~ 21~/I~ 5~) de cerca de 20 a cerca de 50; (4) uma distribuição de peso molecular, Mw/Mw, de cerca de 20 a cerca de 40; (5) uma estabilidade de bolha medida em equipamento específico de acordo com condições especificadas para uma película de cerca de 6 x 10¬ -6¬ m de espessura de velocidade de linha de pelo menos cerca de 1,22 m/s, taxa de produção de pelo menos cerca de 45 kg/h (0,013 kg/s), ou taxa de produção específica de pelo menos cerca de 0,0000011 kg/s/rps (0,5 lb/h/rpm) ou uma combinação das mesmas; e (6) um impacto de dardo em película de 12,5 mícrons (1,25 X 10¬ -6¬ m) de pelo menos 300 g medido de acordo com a ASTM 1709, Método A; a composição compreendendo: (A) uma fração de peso molecular alto a qual: (a) está presente em uma quantidade de cerca de 30 a cerca de 70 por cento em peso (baseado no peso total da composição) ; (b) tem uma densidade de pelo menos cerca de 0,860 g/CM¬ 3¬ como medida pela ASTM D-1505; (c) tem um índice de fluxo de fundido (I~ 21~) de cerca de 0,01 a cerca de 50 g/10 min (como medido pela ASTM D-1238, medido a 190<198>C e 21,6 quilogramas); e (d) uma razão de índices de fluxo de fundido (I~ 21~/I~ 5~) de cerca de 6 a cerca de 12; e (B) uma fração de peso molecular baixo a qual: (a) está presente em uma quantidade de cerca de 30 a cerca de 70 por cento em peso (baseado no peso total da composição); (b) tem uma densidade de pelo menos cerca de O,900 g/CM¬ 2¬ como medida pela ASTM D-1505; (c) tem um índice de fluxo de fundido (I~ 2~) de cerca de 0,5 a cerca de 3000 g/10 min (como medido pela ASTM D-1238, medido a 190<198>C e 2,16 quilogramas); (d) uma razão de índices de fundido (I~ 21~/I~ 5~) de cerca de 5 a cerca de 15; e (e) é preparada usando uma razão molar de alfa-olefina para etileno menor ou igual a cerca de 0,001:1. A invenção também inclui um processo para produzir um polímero de etileno multimodal, cujo processo compreende as seguintes etapas: (a) contatar em um primeiro reator de leito fluidizado de fase gasosa sob condições de polimerização e a uma temperatura de cerca de 70<198>C a cerca de 11O<198>C, um precursor de catalisador de magnésio titânio suportado, cocatalisador, e uma composição gasosa, a composição gasosa tendo: (i) uma razão molar de alfa-olefina para etileno de cerca de 0,01:1 a cerca de 0,8:1; e opcionalmente (ii) uma razão molar de hidrogênio para etileno de cerca de 0,001:1 a cerca de 0,3:1, para produzir um polímero de peso molecular alto (HMW); e (2) transferir o polímero HMW da etapa 1 para um segundo reator de leito fluidizado de fase gasosa sob condições de polimerização e a uma temperatura de cerca de 70<198>C a cerca de 11O<198>C, com uma composição gasosa tendo: (i) uma razão molar de alfaolefina para etileno de cerca de 0,0005:1 a cerca de 0,01:11 e (ii) uma razão molar de hidrogênio (se presente) para etileno de cerca de 0,01:1 a cerca de 3:1 para formar um produto de mistura polimérica; e (3) fundir o produto de mistura polimérica em uma extrusora tendo um respiro de misturador sendo que: (i) o respiro do misturador tem uma concentração de oxigênio de cerca de 0,OS a cerca de 6 por cento em volume de oxigênio em nitrogênio; e (ii) a temperatura de extrusão é suficiente para fundir o polímero e conseguir adequação na presença de oxigênio; e (4) passar a mistura polimérica fundida através de uma ou mais peneiras ativas, sendo que no caso de duas ou mais peneiras ativas, as peneiras são posicionadas em série, cada peneira ativa tendo um tamanho de retenção de mícron de cerca de 2 a cerca de 70, em um fluxo de massa de cerca de 1,0 a cerca de 20 kg/s/m¬ 2¬ para formar uma mistura polimérica fundida peneirada. A composição é preparável pelo processo e é preferivelmente preparada pelo processo. A resina exibe processamento por extrusão melhorado em altas velocidades de linha comercial, enquanto exibindo um excelente equilíbrio de estabilidade de bolha, queda de dardo, e FAR, bem como uma notável NCLS com bom módulo de flexão.
