Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA MODIFICAçãO REOLóGICA DE POLìMEROS, COMPOSIçõES DESTES E SEU USO". Processo de reagir uma poli(sulfonil azida) com um polímero, compreendendo as etapas de (a) formar uma primeira mistura, adiante designada um concentrado, de uma primeira quantidade de um primeiro polímero ou num líquido que não exija a remoção do polímero, adiante designado diluente, e uma poli(sulfonil azida); (b) formar então uma segunda mistura da primeira mistura com uma segunda quantidade de pelo menos um segundo polímero, adiante designada segunda composição de polímero; e (c) aquecer a segunda mistura até a temperatura de decomposição do agente de acoplamento durante um tempo suficiente para resultar no acoplamento de cadeias poliméricas. o diluente é miscível. o primeiro polímero é selecionado de copolímeros de etileno alfa olefina: etileno acido acrílico; etileno acetato de vinila, interpolímeros de etileno/estireno; preferivelmente as etapas (a) e (b) ocorrem no mesmo recipiente, que se encontra preferivelmente na área pós-reator de uma fábrica de processamento de polímeros.
