Abstract
Description
作業用手袋は、用途、目的に応じて様々な特性が求められ、例えば特許文献1では、繊維製手袋に被覆したゴム層に通気孔を形成することで着用時の蒸れ感を低減させている。
また、特許文献2では、繊維製手袋を複数層の被膜により被覆することにより、硫酸に対して優れた耐透過性を有する作業用手袋が開示されている。
(1) 繊維製の基材にニトリルゴムのゴム層が積層された積層体を有するゴム成形品であって、前記ニトリルゴムは、共役ジエン単量体単位52~78重量%、α,β-エチレン性不飽和ニトリル単量体単位20~40重量%、エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体単位2~10重量%を有する共重合体を含み、前記積層体における50%伸長時の応力が20N以下、前記積層体を裏側から見た場合において、前記積層体の面積に対する、ゴムが見える面積の比率が15%以下、前記ゴム層の厚みが0.30mm以下であるゴム成形品、
(2) 前記共重合体は、さらにエチレン性不飽和単量体単位を0~26重量%有する(1)記載のゴム成形品、
(3) 前記積層体の耐摩耗性は、EN388記載の摩耗試験においてレベル3以上である(1)または(2)記載のゴム成形品、
(4) 前記ゴム層の厚みが0.05mm以上、0.20mm未満である(1)~(3)のいずれかに記載のゴム成形品、
(5) 前記積層体の耐摩耗性は、EN388記載の摩耗試験においてレベル4である(1)~(4)のいずれかに記載のゴム成形品、
(6) (1)~(5)のいずれかに記載のゴム成形品を用いた保護手袋
が提供される。
なお、積層体において、ゴム層が積層された面は表側を指し、ゴム層が積層されていない面は裏側を指すものとする。
本発明のゴム成形品は、繊維製の基材にニトリルゴムのゴム層が積層された積層体を有する。なお、積層体は、ゴム成形品の一部に形成されていても、全体に形成されていても良い。
本発明のゴム成形品に用いる繊維製の基材は、繊維製のものであれば、特に限定はされない。繊維の素材としては、綿、毛、麻、羊毛などの天然繊維、ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、アクリル、ナイロンなどの合成繊維を用いることができる。これらの中でも、ナイロンを用いることが好ましい。また、繊維製の基材は、編まれたものであっても、縫製されたものであってもよいし、織布であっても、不織布であってもよい。
本発明に用いるニトリルゴムは、共役ジエン単量体単位52~78重量%、α,β-エチレン性不飽和ニトリル単量体単位20~40重量%、エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体単位2~10重量%を有する共重合体を含む。
共役ジエン単量体単位を形成する共役ジエン単量体としては、1,3-ブタジエン、イソプレン、2,3-ジメチル-1,3-ブタジエン、1,3-ペンタジエン、クロロプレンなどの炭素数4~6の共役ジエン単量体が好ましく、1,3-ブタジエン及びイソプレンがより好ましく、1,3-ブタジエンが特に好ましい。共役ジエン単量体は一種単独で用いてもよく、複数種を併用してもよい。
α,β-エチレン性不飽和ニトリル単量体単位を形成するα,β-エチレン性不飽和ニトリル単量体としては、ニトリル基を有する炭素数3~18のエチレン性不飽和化合物が使用される。このような化合物としては、たとえば、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、ハロゲン置換アクリロニトリルなどが挙げられる。これらは、1種単独で、あるいは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。上記のなかでも、アクリロニトリルが好ましく使用できる。
エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体単位を形成するエチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体としては、たとえば、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、エチルアクリル酸、クロトン酸などが挙げられ、メタクリル酸が好ましく用いられる。エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体単位の含有割合は、全単量体単位に対して、2~10重量%であり、好ましくは2~8重量%であり、より好ましくは3~7重量%である。エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体単位の含有割合が高すぎるとゴム成形品の風合いが劣る虞がある。逆に、低すぎるとゴム成形品におけるゴム層の成形性に劣る虞がある。
本発明のゴム成形品は、上記ディップ成形用ラテックスを含むディップ成形用ラテックス組成物及び繊維製基材を用いてディップ成形を行うことにより得られる。ここで、ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物は、上記ディップ成形用ラテックスに、架橋剤、架橋促進剤、酸化亜鉛、粘度調整剤等を添加してなるものである。架橋剤を含有させることにより、ディップ成形可能な組成物を得ることができる。
硫黄系架橋剤として硫黄を使用する場合には、架橋促進剤(加硫促進剤)や、酸化亜鉛を配合することが好ましい。
本発明に用いるディップ成形用ラテックス組成物をディップ成形に供する前に、熟成(前加硫ともいう。)させてもよい。
本発明のゴム成形品は、上記のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物をディップ成形して得られる。ディップ成形法としては、従来公知の方法を採用することができ、例えば、直接浸漬法、アノード凝着浸漬法、ティーグ凝着浸漬法などが挙げられる。なかでも、均一な厚みを有するゴム成形品が得やすいという点で、アノード凝着浸漬法が好ましい。以下、一実施形態としてのアノード凝着浸漬法によるディップ成形法を説明する。
まず、繊維製基材を被せたディップ成形型を凝固剤溶液に浸漬して、ディップ成形型に被せた繊維製基材の表面に凝固剤を付着させる。
実施例及び比較例における測定及び評価は以下に示すように行った。
実施例及び比較例で調製したディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の粘度は、B型粘度計(ブルックフィールド社製)にて、ローターNo.3を用い、温度25℃、回転数6rpmの条件で測定した。
積層体の50%伸長時の応力の測定は、以下の手順により行った。まず、実施例および比較例で製造した保護手袋を、ASTM D-412に準じて、ダンベル(Die-C:ダンベル社製)を用いて、ダンベル形状の試験片を作製した。次いで、この試験片を、万能試験機(3343:INSTRON社製)を用いて、引張速度500mm/minで引っ張り、50%伸長時の応力を測定した。結果を表1に示す。
実施例および比較例で製造した保護手袋の表裏をひっくり返し、裏地である繊維製の基材側から目視で観察し、積層体の面積に対する、ゴム層を構成するゴム分が染み出して固まっている部分の面積を比率として求めることにより、裏地のゴム面積率を得た。
具体的な手順を以下に記載する。
(1)裏地である繊維製の基材側を写真に撮った。
(2)ゴム層を構成するゴムが見える部分、および繊維が見える部分を、それぞれ異なる方眼紙に写し取った。
(3)方眼紙に写し取った部分を各々切り取り、切り取った方眼紙の重量比率から面積比率を算出した。
なお、繊維が透けてゴムが見える場合は、本発明の「ゴムが見える面積」には含まないものとする。得られたゴム面積率は10%刻みの範囲で示した。結果を表1に示す。
実施例および比較例で製造した保護手袋について、ゴム層の厚みを光学顕微鏡にて測定した。具体的には、試料サンプルとしての保護手袋の中指の先から12cmの掌部分のゴム層が積層された断面を、光学顕微鏡(キーエンス製VHX-200)を用いて観察した。
装着時の手の挿入性は、実施例および比較例で製造した保護手袋を、実際に手に装着する実験をおこなった後、スムーズに装着できるかについてアンケートを行い評価した。なお、裏地のゴム面積率が高くなれば、装着時に手が引っかかりスムーズに装着しづらい。10人を対象として実施し、3人以上手の挿入時に引っかかりがあるように感じた場合を「劣」、3人未満の場合を「優」として評価した。結果を表1に示す。
摩耗試験はEN388に記載の方法に則って、マーチンデール式摩耗試験機(STM633:SATRA社製)を用いて評価を実施した。具体的には、実施例および比較例で製造した保護手袋の積層体について、所定の加重をかけながら摩擦を繰り返し、破損までの摩擦回数を得た。破損に至るまでの摩擦回数に従い、レベル0からレベル4までのレベルに分けられ、レベルが高いほど耐摩耗性に優れる。結果を表1に示す。
着用時疲労度は、実施例および比較例で製造した保護手袋を実際に手に着用して清掃や運搬等の簡易的な作業した後、手に感じる疲労感に関するアンケートを行い評価した。10人を対象として実施し、3人以上手に疲労感を感じる場合を「劣」、3人未満の場合は「優」として評価した。結果を表1に示す。
(ディップ成形用ラテックスの製造)
重合反応器に、共役ジエン単量体として1,3-ブタジエン(以下、「BD」ということがある。)65部、α,β-エチレン性不飽和ニトリル単量体としてアクリロニトリル(以下、「AN」ということがある。)30部、エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体としてメタクリル酸(以下、「MAA」ということがある。)5部、t-ドデシルメルカプタン0.4部、イオン交換水132部、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム3部、β-ナフタリンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物ナトリウム塩0.5部、過硫酸カリウム0.3部およびエチレンジアミン四酢酸ナトリウム塩0.05部を仕込み、重合温度を30~40℃に保持して重合を行い、重合転化率が94%に達するまで反応させた。
コロイド硫黄(細井化学(株)製)1.0部、分散剤(花王(株)製デモールN)0.5部、5%水酸化カリウム(和光純薬(株)製)0.0015部、および水1.0部をボールミル中で48時間粉砕撹拌し、固形分濃度50重量%の硫黄分散液を得た。
上記のディップ成形用ラテックスに、10%アンモニア水溶液を添加して、pHを9.5に調整するとともに、ディップ成形用ラテックス中の共重合体100部に対して、それぞれ固形分換算で、コロイド硫黄1.5部(上記硫黄分散液として添加)、ZnDBC0.8部、酸化亜鉛2.0部となるように、各配合剤の水分散液を添加した。なお、添加の際には、ラテックスを撹拌した状態で、各配合剤の水分散液を所定の量ゆっくり添加した。添加物が均一に混合された後に、粘度調整剤としてアロン(東亜合成(株)製)を添加して組成物の粘度を4,000mPa・sに調整し、ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を得た。
上記のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を使用して、ゴム成形品(保護手袋)を、以下の方法により製造した。
まず、繊維製手袋(材質:ナイロン、線密度:300デニール、ゲージ数:13ゲージ、厚み:0.8mm)を被せたセラミックス手型を、硝酸カルシウム5%のメタノール溶液からなる凝固剤溶液に10秒間浸漬し、引き上げた後に30℃で1分間の条件で乾燥させて凝固剤を繊維製手袋に付着させた。その後、凝固剤を付着させた手袋型を、上記のディップ成形用ラテックス組成物に10秒間浸漬し、引き上げた後に30℃で5分間乾燥し、次いで70℃で10分間乾燥させた。その後、60℃の温水に90秒間浸漬して水溶性の不純物を溶出させた後、再度30℃で10分間乾燥させた。さらに125℃で30分間の熱処理を行う事でディップ成形層に架橋処理を施した。
ディップ成形用ラテックスの製造において、1,3-ブタジエンの量を67部に変更し、アクリロニトリルの量を25部に変更し、更にメタクリル酸の量を8部に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にディップ成形用ラテックスの製造およびディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の調製を行った。このようにして得られたディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
ディップ成形用ラテックスの製造において、1,3-ブタジエンの量を61部に変更し、アクリロニトリルの量を35部に変更し、更にメタクリル酸の量を4部に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にディップ成形用ラテックスの製造およびディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の調製を行った。このようにして得られたディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の浸漬時間を20秒に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
ディップ成形用ラテックスの製造において、1,3-ブタジエンの量を48部に変更し、アクリロニトリルの量を47部に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にディップ成形用ラテックスの製造およびディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の調製を行った。このようにして得られたディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
ディップ成形用ラテックスの製造において、1,3-ブタジエンの量を80部に変更し、アクリロニトリルの量を15部に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にディップ成形用ラテックスの製造およびディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の調製を行った。このようにして得られたディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
粘度調整剤の量を減らすことによりディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の粘度を2,000mPa・sとした以外は、実施例1と同様にディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の調製を行った。このようにして得られたディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を用い、ディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の浸漬時間を30秒に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
粘度調整剤の量を増やすことによりディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の粘度を8,000mPa・sとした以外は、実施例1と同様にディップ成形用ラテックス組成物の調製を行った。このようにして得られたディップ成形用ラテックス組成物を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にゴム成形品(保護手袋)の製造を行った。
Claims (6)
- 繊維製の基材にニトリルゴムのゴム層が積層された積層体を有するゴム成形品であって、
前記ニトリルゴムは、共役ジエン単量体単位52~78重量%、α,β-エチレン性不飽和ニトリル単量体単位20~40重量%、エチレン性不飽和モノカルボン酸系単量体単位2~10重量%を有する共重合体を含み、
前記積層体における50%伸長時の応力が20N以下、
前記積層体を裏側から見た場合において、前記積層体の面積に対する、ゴムが見える面積の比率が15%以下、
前記ゴム層の厚みが0.30mm以下であるゴム成形品。 - 前記共重合体は、さらにエチレン性不飽和単量体単位を0~26重量%有する請求項1記載のゴム成形品。
- 前記積層体の耐摩耗性は、EN388記載の摩耗試験においてレベル3以上である請求項1または2記載のゴム成形品。
- 前記ゴム層の厚みが0.05mm以上、0.20mm未満である請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のゴム成形品。
- 前記積層体の耐摩耗性は、EN388記載の摩耗試験においてレベル4である請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のゴム成形品。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のゴム成形品を用いた保護手袋。
