本発明の硬化性シリコーン組成物は、ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化するものであり、平均単位式:

(式中、R1は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、フェニル基、または水素原子であり、R2は前記R1で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR1もしくはR2はアルケニル基または水素原子であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR2は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンを主成分とすることを特徴とする。
また、本発明の硬化物は、上記組成物を硬化してなることを特徴とする。
さらに、本発明の光半導体装置は、上記組成物により光半導体素子を被覆あるいは封止してなることを特徴とする。

本発明の硬化性シリコーン組成物は、平均単位式:
(R1 3SiO1/2)a(R1 2SiO2/2)b(R2SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンを主成分とする、ヒドロシリル化反応により硬化するものである。式中、R1は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、フェニル基、または水素原子である。R1のアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基である。R1のアルケニル基としては、ビニル基、アリル基、ブテニル基が例示され、好ましくは、ビニル基である。
また、式中、R2は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、フェニル基、水素原子、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。R2のアルキル基としては、前記R1で表される基が例示される。R2のアルケニル基としては、前記R1で表される基が例示される。R2の縮合多環芳香族基としては、ナフチル基、アントラセニル基、フェナントリル基、ピレニル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、ナフチル基である。R2の縮合多環芳香族基含有基としては、ナフチルエチル基、ナフチルプロピル基、アントラセニルエチル基、フェナントリルエチル基、ピレニルエチル基等の縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基中の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であり、特に好ましくは、ナフチルエチル基である。特に、R2が縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であるオルガノポリシロキサンは、その粘度が比較的低く、得られる硬化性シリコーン組成物の粘度を低くできるという特徴がある。
なお、式中、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR1もしくはR2はアルケニル基または水素原子である。また、式中、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR2は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、好ましくは、一分子中、R2の少なくとも50モル%が縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。
また、式中、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、好ましくは、0.05≦a≦0.7、0≦b≦0.4、0.3≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、特に好ましくは、0.1≦a≦0.6、0≦b≦0.3、0.4≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。これは、aが上記範囲の下限未満であると、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンが液体状から固体状に変化し、取扱作業性が低下するからであり、一方、上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物の透明性が低下するからである。また、bが上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物にべたつきが生じるようになるからである。また、cが上記範囲の下限未満であると、得られる硬化物の屈折率が著しく低下するからであり、一方、上記範囲の上限を超えると、硬化物が硬く、脆くなりすぎるからである。さらに、dが上記範囲の上限を超えると、硬化物が非常に硬く、脆くなるからである。
このオルガノポリシロキサンは上記平均単位式で表されるが、分子中のケイ素原子に少量の水酸基、あるいはメトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基を結合していてもよい。ケイ素原子結合水酸基やケイ素原子結合アルコキシ基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンは、これを含有する硬化性シリコーン組成物の接着性を向上させたり、その硬化物の基材に対する密着性を向上させたり、あるいは硬化性シリコーン組成物に含有される他の成分との親和性を向上させる場合がある。
このようなオルガノポリシロキサンを調製する方法としては、例えば、一般式:

で表されるシラン化合物(I)、一般式:
R4 3SiOSiR4 3
で表されるジシロキサン(II)および/または一般式:
R4 3SiX
で表されるシラン化合物(III)を、酸もしくはアルカリの存在下、加水分解・縮合反応させる方法が挙げられる。
上記一般式:

で表されるシラン化合物(I)は、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンに縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基を導入するための原料である。式中、R3は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。R3の縮合多環芳香族基としては、ナフチル基、アントラセニル基、フェナントリル基、ピレニル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、ナフチル基である。また、R3の縮合多環芳香族基含有基としては、ナフチルエチル基、ナフチルプロピル基、アントラセニルエチル基、フェナントリルエチル基、ピレニルエチル基等の縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であり、特に好ましくは、ナフチルエチル基である。また、式中、Xはアルコキシ基、アシロキシ基、ハロゲン原子、または水酸基である。Xのアルコキシ基としては、メトキシ基、エトキシ基、プロポキシ基が例示される。また、Xのアシロキシ基としては、アセトキシ基が例示される。また、Xのハロゲン原子としては、塩素原子、臭素原子が例示される。
このようなシラン化合物(I)としては、ナフチルトリメトキシシラン、アントラセニルトリメトキシシラン、フェナントリルトリメトキシシラン、ピレニルトリメトキシシラン、ナフチルトリエトキシシラン、アントラセニルトリエトキシシラン、フェナントリルトリエトキシシラン、ピレニルトリエトキシシラン、ナフチルエチルトリメトキシシラン、ナフチルプロピルトリメトキシシラン、アントラセニルエチルトリメトキシシラン等のアルコキシシラン;ナフチルトリアセトキシシラン、アントラセニルトリアセトキシシラン、フェナントリルトリアセトキシシラン、ピレニルトリアセトキシシシラン等のアシロキシシラン;ナフチルトリクロロシラン、アントラセニルトリクロロシラン、フェナントリルトリクロロシラン、ピレニルトリクロロシラン等のハロシラン;ナフチルトリヒドロキシシラン、アントラセニルトリヒドロキシシラン、フェナントリルトリヒドロキシシラン、ピレニルトリヒドロキシシラン等のヒドロキシシランが例示される。
また、上記一般式:

で表されるジシロキサン(II)は、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンにM単位のシロキサンを導入するための原料である。式中、R4は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、またはフェニル基である。R4のアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基である。また、R4のアルケニル基としては、ビニル基、アリル基、ブテニル基が例示され、好ましくは、ビニル基である。
このようなジシロキサン(II)としては、1,3−ジビニル−テトラメチルジシロキサン、1,3−ジビニル−1,3−ジフェニル−ジメチルジシロキサン、1−ビニル−ペンタメチルジシロキサン、1−ビニル−1,3−ジフェニル−トリメチルジシロキサン、1,3−ジフェニル−テトラメチルジシロキサン、ヘキサメチルジシロキサンが例示され、好ましくは、アルケニル基を有するジシロキサンである。
また、上記一般式:
R4 3SiX
で表されるシラン化合物(III)も、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンにM単位のシロキサンを導入するための原料である。式中、R4は前記と同様の基である。また、式中、Xも前記と同様の基である。
このようなシラン化合物(III)としては、ジメチルビニルメトキシシラン、メチルフェニルビニルメトキシシラン、ジフェニルビニルメトキシシラン、ジメチルビニルエトキシシラン、メチルフェニルビニルエトキシシラン、ジフェニルビニルエトキシシラン、トリメチルメトキシシラン、ジメチルフェニルメトキシシラン等のアルコキシシラン;ジメチルビニルアセトキシシラン、メチルフェニルビニルアセトキシシラン、ジフェニルビニルアセトキシシラン、トリメチルアセトキシシラン、ジメチルフェニルアセトキシシラン等のアシロキシシラン;ジメチルビニルクロロシラン、メチルフェニルビニルクロロシラン、ジフェニルビニルクロロシラン、トリメチルクロロシラン、メチルフェニルクロロシラン等のハロシラン;ジメチルビニルシラノール、メチルフェニルビニルシラノール、ジフェニルビニルシラノール等のシラノールが例示され、好ましくは、アルケニル基を有するシラン化合物である。
上記の調製方法では、必要に応じて、一般式:
R4 (4−n)SiXn
で表されるシラン化合物(IV)を反応させることができる。式中、R4は前記と同様の基である。また、式中、Xも前記と同様の基である。また、式中、nは2~4の整数である。
このようなシラン化合物(IV)としては、トリメチルメトキシシラン、トリメチルエトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルメトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルエトキシシラン、ジメチルジメトキシシラン、メチルフェニルジメトキシシラン、ジフェニルジメトキシシラン、メチルトリメトキシシラン、フェニルトリメトキシシラン、テトラメトキシシラン、テトラエトキシシラン等のアルコキシシラン;トリメチルアセトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルアセトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルアセトキシシラン、ジメチルジアセトキシシラン、メチルフェニルジアセトキシシラン、ジフェニルジアセトキシシラン、メチルトリアセトキシシラン、フェニルトリアセトキシシラン、テトラアセトキシシラン等のアセトキシシラン;トリメチルクロロシラン、メチルジフェニルクロロシラン、メチルジフェニルクロロシラン、ジメチルジクロロシラン、メチルフェニルジクロロシラン、ジフェニルジクロロシラン、メチルトリクロロシラン、フェニルトリクロロシラン、テトラクロロシラン等のハロシラン;トリメチルシラノール、メチルジフェニルシラノール、メチルジフェニルシラノール、ジメチルジヒドロキシシラン、メチルフェニルジヒドロキシシラン、ジフェニルジヒドロキシシラン、メチルトリヒドロキシシラン、フェニルトリヒドロキシシラン等のヒドロキシシランが例示される。
なお、上記の調製方法において、反応に供される成分(II)~成分(IV)のいずれか一つはアルケニル基を有することが必要である。
上記の調製方法では、シラン化合物(I)とジシロキサン(II)および/またはシラン化合物(III)、必要に応じてシラン化合物(IV)を、酸もしくはアルカリの存在下、加水分解・縮合反応させることを特徴とする。各成分の仕込み割合は、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンが、平均単位式:
(R4 3SiO1/2)a(R4 2SiO2/2)b(R5SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
で表されるようになる量である。すなわち、式中、R4は前記と同様の基であり、R5は前記R3で表される基または前記R4で表される基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR4またはR5はアルケニル基であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR5は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。また、式中、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、好ましくは、0.05≦a≦0.7、0≦b≦0.4、0.3≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、特に好ましくは、0.1≦a≦0.6、0≦b≦0.3、0.4≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。
使用できる酸としては、塩酸、酢酸、蟻酸、硝酸、シュウ酸、硫酸、リン酸、ポリリン酸、多価カルボン酸、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸、イオン交換樹脂が例示される。また、使用できるアルカリとしては、水酸化カリウム、水酸化ナトリウム等の無機アルカリ;トリエチルアミン、ジエチルアミン、モノエタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、トリエタノールアミン、アンモニア水、テトラメチルアンモニウムハイドロオキサイド、アミノ基を有するアルコキシラン、アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等の有機塩基化合物が例示される。
また、上記の調製方法において、有機溶剤を使用することができる。使用できる有機溶剤としては、エーテル類、ケトン類、アセテート類、芳香族あるいは脂肪族炭化水素、γ−ブチロラクトン等を、およびこれらの2種以上の混合物が例示される。好ましい有機溶剤としては、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート、プロピレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノブチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノ−t−ブチルエーテル、γ−ブチロラクトン、トルエン、キシレンが例示される。
上記の調製方法では、上記各成分の加水分解・縮合反応を促進するため、水、あるいは水とアルコールの混合液を添加することが好ましい。このアルコールとしては、メタノール、エタノールが好ましい。この反応は、加熱により促進され、有機溶媒を使用する場合には、その還流温度で反応を行うことが好ましい。
また、上記オルガノポリシロキサンの他の調製方法としては、一般式:

で表されるジシロキサン(V)および/または一般式:

で表されるシラン化合物(VI)を、酸の存在下、加水分解・縮合反応させることを特徴とする。
上記一般式:

で表されるシラン化合物(I)は、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンに縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基を導入するための原料である。式中、R3は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、前記と同様の基が例示される。また、Xはアルコキシ基、アシロキシ基、ハロゲン原子、または水酸基であり、前記と同様の基が例示される。このようなシラン化合物(I)としては、前記と同様の化合物が例示される。
また、上記一般式:
R6 3SiOSiR6 3
で表されるジシロキサン(V)は、得られるオルガノポリシロキサン中にM単位のシロキサンを導入するための原料である。式中、R6は、アルキル基、フェニル基、または水素原子である。R6のアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基が例示される。
このようなジシロキサン(V)としては、1,1,3,3−テトラメチルジシロキサン、1,3−ジフェニル−1,3−ジメチルジシロキサン、1,1,3,3,3−ペンタメチルジシロキサン、1,3−ジフェニル−1,3,3−トリメチルジシロキサン、1,3−ジフェニル−テトラメチルジシロキサン、ヘキサメチルジシロキサンが例示され、好ましくは、ケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するジシロキサンである。
また、上記一般式:
R6 3SiX
で表されるシラン化合物(VI)も、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンにM単位のシロキサンを導入するための原料である。式中、R6は前記と同様の基である。また、式中、Xも前記と同様の基である。
このようなシラン化合物(VI)としては、ジメチルメトキシシラン、メチルフェニルメトキシシラン、ジフェニルメトキシシラン、ジメチルエトキシシラン、メチルフェニルエトキシシラン、ジフェニルエトキシシラン、トリメチルメトキシシラン、ジメチルフェニルメトキシシラン等のアルコキシシラン;ジメチルアセトキシシラン、メチルフェニルアセトキシシラン、ジフェニルアセトキシシラン、トリメチルアセトキシシラン、ジメチルフェニルアセトキシシラン等のアシロキシシラン;ジメチルクロロシラン、メチルフェニルクロロシラン、ジフェニルクロロシラン、トリメチルクロロシラン、メチルフェニルクロロシラン等のハロシラン;ジメチルシラノール、メチルフェニルシラノール、ジフェニルシラノール等のシラノールが例示され、好ましくは、ケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するシラン化合物である。
上記の調製方法では、必要に応じて、一般式:
R6 (4−n)SiXn
で表されるシラン化合物(VII)を反応させることができる。式中、R6は前記と同様の基である。また、式中、Xも前記と同様の基である。また、式中、nは2~4の整数である。
このようなシラン化合物(VII)としては、トリメチルメトキシシラン、トリメチルエトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルメトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルエトキシシラン、ジメチルジメトキシシラン、メチルフェニルジメトキシシラン、ジフェニルジメトキシシラン、メチルトリメトキシシラン、フェニルトリメトキシシラン、テトラメトキシシラン、テトラエトキシシラン等のアルコキシシラン;トリメチルアセトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルアセトキシシラン、メチルジフェニルアセトキシシラン、ジメチルジアセトキシシラン、メチルフェニルジアセトキシシラン、ジフェニルジアセトキシシラン、メチルトリアセトキシシラン、フェニルトリアセトキシシラン、テトラアセトキシシラン等のアセトキシシラン;トリメチルクロロシラン、メチルジフェニルクロロシラン、メチルジフェニルクロロシラン、ジメチルジクロロシラン、メチルフェニルジクロロシラン、ジフェニルジクロロシラン、メチルトリクロロシラン、フェニルトリクロロシラン、テトラクロロシラン等のハロシラン;トリメチルシラノール、メチルジフェニルシラノール、メチルジフェニルシラノール、ジメチルジヒドロキシシラン、メチルフェニルジヒドロキシシラン、ジフェニルジヒドロキシシラン、メチルトリヒドロキシシラン、フェニルトリヒドロキシシラン等のヒドロキシシランが例示される。
なお、上記の調製方法において、反応に供される成分(V)~成分(VII)のいずれか一つはケイ素原子結合水素原子を有することが必要である。
上記の調製方法では、シラン化合物(I)とジシロキサン(V)および/またはシラン化合物(VI)、必要に応じてシラン化合物(VII)を、酸の存在下、加水分解・縮合反応させることを特徴とする。各成分の仕込み割合は、得られるオルガノポリシロキサンが、平均単位式:
(R6 3SiO1/2)a(R6 2SiO2/2)b(R7SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
で表されるようになる量である。すなわち、式中、R6は前記と同様の基であり、R7は前記R3で表される基または前記R6で表される基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR6またはR7は水素原子であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR7は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である、また、式中、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、好ましくは、0.05≦a≦0.7、0≦b≦0.4、0.3≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、特に好ましくは、0.1≦a≦0.6、0≦b≦0.3、0.4≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。
使用できる酸としては、塩酸、硝酸、硫酸、リン酸、ポリリン酸、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸等の強酸;酢酸、蟻酸、シュウ酸、多価カルボン酸等のカルボン酸;無水酢酸等のカルボン酸無水物が例示される。
また、上記の調製方法において、有機溶剤を使用することができる。使用できる有機溶剤としては、上記と同様の溶剤が挙げられる。
上記の調製方法では、上記各成分の加水分解・縮合反応を促進するため、水、あるいは水とアルコールの混合液を添加することが好ましい。このアルコールとしては、メタノール、エタノールが好ましい。この反応は、加熱により促進され、有機溶媒を使用する場合には、その還流温度で反応を行うことが好ましい。
本組成物として、例えば、縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンがアルケニル基を有する場合には、
(A)平均単位式:
(R11 3SiO1/2)a(R11 2SiO2/2)b(R21SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
(式中、R11は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、またはフェニル基であり、R21は前記R11で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR11またはR21はアルケニル基であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR21は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン、
(B)一分子中に少なくとも2個のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノポリシロキサン、および
(C)ヒドロシリル化反応用触媒
から少なくともなる硬化性シリコーン組成物が挙げられる。
(A)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンは、平均単位式:
(R11 3SiO1/2)a(R11 2SiO2/2)b(R21SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
で表される。式中、R11は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、またはフェニル基である。R11のアルキル基としては、前記R1と同様の基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基である。R11のアルケニル基としては、前記R1と同様の基が例示され、好ましくは、ビニル基である。
また、式中、R21は前記R11で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。R21のアルキル基としては、前記R1と同様の基が例示される。R21のアルケニル基としては、前記R1と同様の基が例示される。R21の縮合多環芳香族基としては、ナフチル基、アントラセニル基、フェナントリル基、ピレニル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、ナフチル基である。R21の縮合多環芳香族基含有基としては、ナフチルエチル基、ナフチルプロピル基、アントラセニルエチル基、フェナントリルエチル基、ピレニルエチル基等の縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であり、特に好ましくは、ナフチルエチル基である。特に、R21が縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であるオルガノポリシロキサンは、その粘度が比較的低く、得られる硬化性シリコーン組成物の粘度を低くできるという効果がある。
なお、式中、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR11またはR21はアルケニル基である。また、式中、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR21は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、好ましくは、一分子中、R21の少なくとも50モル%が縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。
また、式中、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、好ましくは、0.05≦a≦0.7、0≦b≦0.4、0.3≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、特に好ましくは、0.1≦a≦0.6、0≦b≦0.3、0.4≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。これは、aが上記範囲の下限未満であると、得られる組成物の取扱作業性が低下するからであり、一方、上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物の透明性が低下するからである。また、bが上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物にべたつきが生じるようになるからである。また、cが上記範囲の下限未満であると、得られう硬化物の屈折率が著しく低下するからであり、一方、上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物が硬く、脆くなりすぎるからである。さらに、dが上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物が非常に硬く、脆くなるからである。
(A)成分は上記平均単位式で表されるが、分子中のケイ素原子に少量の水酸基、あるいはメトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基を結合していてもよい。(A)成分がケイ素原子結合水酸基やケイ素原子結合アルコキシ基を有する場合には、得られる硬化性シリコーン組成物の接着性が向上したり、その硬化物の基材に対する密着性を向上したり、あるいは硬化性シリコーン組成物に含有される他の成分との親和性が向上する場合がある。
また、(B)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンは、ケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するものであれば特に限定されない。(B)成分中のケイ素原子結合水素原子の結合位置としては、分子鎖末端および/または分子鎖側鎖が例示される。(B)成分中のケイ素原子に結合するその他の基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、ヘプチル基等のアルキル基;フェニル基、トリル基、キシリル基、ナフチル基等のアリール基;ベンジル基、フェネチル基等のアラルキル基;クロロメチル基、3−クロロプロピル基、3,3,3−トリフロロプロピル基等のハロゲン化アルキル基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基、フェニル基である。このような(B)成分の分子構造としては、直鎖状、分岐状、環状、網状、一部分岐を有する直鎖状が例示される。
このような(B)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンとしては、分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖メチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルハイドロジェンシロキサン共重合体、分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルハイドロジェンシロキサン・メチルフェニルシロキサン共重合体、分子鎖両末端ジメチルハイドロジェンシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルポリシロキサン、分子鎖両末端ジメチルハイドロジェンシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルフェニルシロキサン共重合体、分子鎖両末端ジメチルハイドロジェンシロキシ基封鎖メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、一般式:R’3SiO1/2で表されるシロキサン単位と一般式:R’2HSiO1/2で表されるシロキサン単位と式:SiO4/2で表されるシロキサン単位からなるオルガノポリシロキサン共重合体、一般式:R’2HSiO1/2で表されるシロキサン単位と式:SiO4/2で表されるシロキサン単位からなるオルガノポリシロキサン共重合体、一般式:R’HSiO2/2で表されるシロキサン単位と一般式:R’SiO3/2で表されるシロキサン単位または式:HSiO3/2で表されるシロキサン単位からなるオルガノポリシロキサン共重合体、およびこれらのオルガノポリシロキサンの二種以上の混合物が例示される。なお、式中のR’は、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、ヘプチル基等のアルキル基;フェニル基、トリル基、キシリル基、ナフチル基等のアリール基;ベンジル基、フェネチル基等のアラルキル基;クロロメチル基、3−クロロプロピル基、3,3,3−トリフロロプロピル基等のハロゲン化アルキル基である。
また、(C)成分のヒドロシリル化反応用触媒としては、白金系触媒、ロジウム系触媒、パラジウム系触媒が例示され、本組成物の硬化を著しく促進できることから白金系触媒が好ましい。この白金系触媒としては、白金微粉末、塩化白金酸、塩化白金酸のアルコール溶液、白金−アルケニルシロキサン錯体、白金−オレフィン錯体、白金−カルボニル錯体が例示され、好ましくは、白金−アルケニルシロキサン錯体である。
また、他の本組成物として、例えば、縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンがケイ素原子結合水素原子を有する場合には、

(E)一分子中に少なくとも2個のアルケニル基を有するオルガノポリシロキサン、および(C)ヒドロシリル化反応用触媒
から少なくともなる硬化性シリコーン組成物が挙げられる。
(D)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンは、平均単位式:
(R12 3SiO1/2)a(R12 2SiO2/2)b(R22SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
で表される。式中、R12は、アルキル基、フェニル基、または水素原子である。R12のアルキル基としては、前記R1と同様の基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基である。
また、式中、R22は前記R12で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。R22のアルキル基としては、前記R1と同様の基が例示される。R22の縮合多環芳香族基としては、ナフチル基、アントラセニル基、フェナントリル基、ピレニル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、ナフチル基である。R22の縮合多環芳香族基含有基としては、ナフチルエチル基、ナフチルプロピル基、アントラセニルエチル基、フェナントリルエチル基、ピレニルエチル基等の縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基、およびこれらの縮合多環芳香族基の水素原子をメチル基、エチル基等のアルキル基;メトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基;塩素原子、臭素原子等のハロゲン原子で置換した基が例示され、好ましくは、縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であり、特に好ましくは、ナフチルエチル基である。特に、R22が縮合多環芳香族基含有アルキル基であるオルガノポリシロキサンは、その粘度が比較的低く、得られる硬化性シリコーン組成物の粘度を低くできるという効果がある。
なお、式中、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR12またはR22は水素原子である。また、式中、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR22は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、好ましくは、一分子中、R22の少なくとも50モル%が縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である。
また、式中、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、好ましくは、0.05≦a≦0.7、0≦b≦0.4、0.3≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数であり、特に好ましくは、0.1≦a≦0.6、0≦b≦0.3、0.4≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。これは、aが上記範囲の下限未満であると、得られる組成物の取扱作業性が低下するからであり、一方、上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物の透明性が低下するからである。また、bが上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物にべたつきが生じるようになるからである。また、cが上記範囲の下限未満であると、得られる硬化物の屈折率が著しく低下するからであり、一方、上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物が硬く、脆くなりすぎるからである。さらに、dが上記範囲の上限を超えると、得られる硬化物が非常に硬く、脆くなるからである。
(D)成分は上記平均単位式で表されるが、分子中のケイ素原子に少量の水酸基、あるいはメトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基を結合していてもよい。(D)成分がケイ素原子結合水酸基やケイ素原子結合アルコキシ基を有する場合には、得られる硬化性シリコーン組成物の接着性が向上したり、その硬化物の基材に対する密着性が向上したり、あるいは硬化性シリコーン組成物に含有される他の成分との親和性が向上する場合がある。
また、(E)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンはアルケニル基を有するものであれば特に限定されない。(E)成分中のアルケニル基としては、ビニル基、アリル基、ブテニル基、ペンテニル基、ヘキセニル基、ヘプテニル基が例示され、好ましくは、ビニル基である。(E)成分中のアルケニル基以外のケイ素原子に結合する基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、ヘプチル基等のアルキル基;フェニル基、トリル基、キシリル基、ナフチル基等のアリール基;ベンジル基、フェネチル基等のアラルキル基;クロロメチル基、3−クロロプロピル基、3,3,3−トリフロロプロピル基等のハロゲン化アルキル基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基、フェニル基である。このような(E)成分の分子構造としては、直鎖状、分岐状、環状、網状、一部分岐を有する直鎖状が例示される。
このような(E)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンとしては、分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルビニルシロキサン共重合体、分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖メチルビニルポリシロキサン、分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルビニルシロキサン・メチルフェニルシロキサン共重合体、分子鎖両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルポリシロキサン、分子鎖両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖メチルビニルポリシロキサン、分子鎖両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルビニルシロキサン共重合体、分子鎖両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルビニルシロキサン・メチルフェニルシロキサン共重合体、一般式:R’3SiO1/2で表されるシロキサン単位と一般式:R’2R’’SiO1/2で表されるシロキサン単位と式:SiO4/2で表されるシロキサン単位からなるオルガノポリシロキサン共重合体、一般式:R’2R’’SiO1/2で表されるシロキサン単位と式:SiO4/2で表されるシロキサン単位からなるオルガノポリシロキサン共重合体、一般式:R’R’’SiO2/2で表されるシロキサン単位と式:R’SiO3/2で表されるシロキサン単位または一般式:R’’SiO3/2で表されるシロキサン単位からなるオルガノポリシロキサン共重合体、およびこれらのオルガノポリシロキサンの二種以上の混合物が例示される。なお、式中のR’は前記と同様の基である。また、式中のR’’はアルケニル基であり、ビニル基、アリル基、ブテニル基、ペンテニル基、ヘキセニル基、ヘプテニル基が例示される。
また、ヒドロシリル化反応用触媒としては、前記と同様の触媒が例示される。
また、上記(A)成分、(D)成分、および(C)成分から少なくともなる硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製することもできる。なお、上記(A)成分、(D)成分、および(C)成分については前記のとおりである。
本組成物において、ケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノポリシロキサンの含有量は特に限定されないが、上記組成物中のアルケニル基に対して、ケイ素原子結合水素原子がモル比で0.1~5となる範囲内の量であり、特に、0.5~2となる範囲内の量であることが好ましい。
また、本組成物において、(C)成分の含有量は上記組成物の硬化を促進する量であれば特に限定されないが、具体的には、上記組成物に対して、重量単位で、(C)成分中の触媒金属が0.01~500ppmの範囲内となる量、さらには、0.01~100ppmの範囲内となる量、特には、0.01~50ppmの範囲内となる量であることが好ましい。
また、本組成物には、その接着性を向上させるための接着付与剤を含有してもよい。この接着付与剤としては、ケイ素原子に結合したアルコキシ基を一分子中に少なくとも1個有する有機ケイ素化合物が好ましい。このアルコキシ基としては、メトキシ基、エトキシ基、プロポキシ基、ブトキシ基、メトキシエトキシ基が例示され、特に、メトキシ基が好ましい。また、この有機ケイ素化合物のケイ素原子に結合するアルコキシ基以外の基としては、アルキル基、アルケニル基、アリール基、アラルキル基、ハロゲン化アルキル基等の置換もしくは非置換の一価炭化水素基;3−グリシドキシプロピル基、4−グリシドキシブチル基等のグリシドキシアルキル基;2−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチル基、3−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)プロピル基等のエポキシシクロヘキシルアルキル基;4−オキシラニルブチル基、8−オキシラニルオクチル基等のオキシラニルアルキル基等のエポキシ基含有一価有機基;3−メタクリロキシプロピル基等のアクリル基含有一価有機基;水素原子が例示される。この有機ケイ素化合物はケイ素原子結合アルケニル基またはケイ素原子結合水素原子を有することが好ましい。また、各種の基材に対して良好な接着性を付与できることから、この有機ケイ素化合物は一分子中に少なくとも1個のエポキシ基含有一価有機基を有するものであることが好ましい。このような有機ケイ素化合物としては、オルガノシラン化合物、オルガノシロキサンオリゴマー、アルキルシリケートが例示される。このオルガノシロキサンオリゴマーあるいはアルキルシリケートの分子構造としては、直鎖状、一部分枝を有する直鎖状、分枝鎖状、環状、網状が例示され、特に、直鎖状、分枝鎖状、網状であることが好ましい。このような有機ケイ素化合物としては、3−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、2−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン、3−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン等のシラン化合物;一分子中にケイ素原子結合アルケニル基もしくはケイ素原子結合水素原子、およびケイ素原子結合アルコキシ基をそれぞれ少なくとも1個ずつ有するシロキサン化合物、ケイ素原子結合アルコキシ基を少なくとも1個有するシラン化合物またはシロキサン化合物と一分子中にケイ素原子結合ヒドロキシ基とケイ素原子結合アルケニル基をそれぞれ少なくとも1個ずつ有するシロキサン化合物との混合物、メチルポリシリケート、エチルポリシリケート、エポキシ基含有エチルポリシリケートが例示される。
本組成物において、この接着付与剤の含有量は限定されないが、本組成物の合計100重量部に対して0.01~10重量部の範囲内であることが好ましい。
また、本組成物には、その他任意の成分として、2−メチル−3−ブチン−2−オール、3,5−ジメチル−1−ヘキシン−3−オール、2−フェニル−3−ブチン−2−オール等のアルキンアルコール;3−メチル−3−ペンテン−1−イン、3,5−ジメチル−3−ヘキセン−1−イン等のエンイン化合物;1,3,5,7−テトラメチル−1,3,5,7−テトラビニルシクロテトラシロキサン、1,3,5,7−テトラメチル−1,3,5,7−テトラヘキセニルシクロテトラシロキサン、ベンゾトリアゾール等の反応抑制剤を含有してもよい。
本組成物において、この反応抑制剤の含有量は限定されないが、本組成物100重量部に対して、0.0001~5重量部の範囲内であることが好ましい。
また、本組成物には、その他任意の成分として、蛍光材を含有することができる。この蛍光体としては、例えば、発光ダイオード(LED)に広く利用されている、酸化物系蛍光体、酸窒化物系蛍光体、窒化物系蛍光体、硫化物系蛍光体、酸硫化物系蛍光体等からなる黄色、赤色、緑色、青色発光蛍光体が挙げられる。酸化物系蛍光体としては、セリウムイオンを包含するイットリウム、アルミニウム、ガーネット系のYAG系緑色~黄色発光蛍光体、セリウムイオンを包含するテルビウム、アルミニウム、ガーネット系のTAG系黄色発光蛍光体、および、セリウムやユーロピウムイオンを包含するシリケート系緑色~黄色発光蛍光体が例示される。酸窒化物蛍光体としては、ユーロピウムイオンを包含するケイ素、アルミニウム、酸素、窒素系のサイアロン系赤色~緑色発光蛍光体が例示される。窒化物系蛍光体としては、ユーロピウムイオンを包含するカルシウム、ストロンチウム、アルミニウム、ケイ素、窒素系のカズン系赤色発光蛍光体が例示される。硫化物系としては、銅イオンやアルミニウムイオンを包含するZnS系緑色発色蛍光体が例示される。酸硫化物系蛍光体としては、ユーロピウムイオンを包含するY2O2S系赤色発光蛍光体が例示される。これらの蛍光材は、1種もしくは2種以上の混合物を用いてもよい。
本組成物において、この蛍光材の含有量は特に限定されないが、本組成物中、0.1~70重量%の範囲内であり、さらには、1~20重量%の範囲内であることが好ましい。
また、本組成物には、本発明の目的を損なわない限り、その他任意の成分として、シリカ、ガラス、アルミナ、酸化亜鉛等の無機質充填剤;ポリメタクリレート樹脂等の有機樹脂微粉末;耐熱剤、染料、顔料、難燃性付与剤、溶剤等を含有してもよい。
本組成物は室温もしくは加熱により硬化が進行するが、迅速に硬化させるためには加熱することが好ましい。この加熱温度としては、50~200℃の範囲内であることが好ましい。このような本組成物は、電気・電子用の接着剤、ポッティング剤、保護剤、コーティング剤、アンダーフィル剤として使用することができ、特に、光透過率が高いことから、光学用途の半導体素子の接着剤、ポッティング剤、保護剤、コーティング剤、アンダーフィル剤として好適である。
次に、本発明の硬化物について詳細に説明する。
本発明の硬化物は、上記の硬化性シリコーン組成物を硬化してなることを特徴とする。このような本発明の硬化物の形状は特に限定されず、例えば、シート状、フィルム状、凸レンズ状、凹レンズ状、フレネルレンズ状、円すい台状、四角すい台状が挙げられる。本発明の硬化物は、これを単体で取り扱うこともできるが、光半導体素子等を被覆もしくは封止した状態で取り扱うことも可能である。
次に、本発明の光半導体装置について詳細に説明する。
本装置は、上記の硬化性シリコーン組成物の硬化物により光半導体素子が被覆あるいは封止されていることを特徴とする。この光半導体素子としては、発光ダイオード(LED)チップが例示される。また、このような光半導体装置としては、発光ダイオード(LED)、フォトカプラー、CCDが例示される。
本発明の光半導体装置の一例である単体の表面実装型LEDの断面図を図1に示した。図1で示されるLEDは、LEDチップ1がリードフレーム2上にダイボンドされ、このLEDチップ1とリードフレーム3とがボンディングワイヤ4によりワイヤボンディングされている。このLEDチップ1は本発明の硬化性シリコーン組成物の硬化物5により被覆されている。
図1で示される表面実装型LEDを製造する方法としては、LEDチップ1をリードフレーム2にダイボンドし、このLEDチップ1とリードフレーム3とを金製のボンディングワイヤ4によりワイヤボンドし、次いで、LEDチップ1に本発明の硬化性シリコーン組成物を塗布した後、50~200℃で加熱することにより硬化させる方法が例示される。
[硬化性シリコーン組成物の粘度]
硬化性シリコーン組成物の25℃における粘度を、TA Instrumennt社製のAR500を用いて、コーン径20mm、コーン角度2°のコーンにて、20s−1の条件にて測定した。
[硬化性シリコーン組成物の硬化物の貯蔵弾性率]
硬化性シリコーン組成物を2mm×10mm×50mmのステンレス製型枠内に流し込み150℃に保持したプレスを用いて10分間加熱し、その後、該型枠からとり、さらに150℃の熱風循環式オーブンで50分間加熱することにより硬化させて得られた硬化物を、アントン・パール社製粘弾性測定装置MCR301を用いて、周波数1Hz、ひずみ0.1%条件で測定した時の25℃の貯蔵弾性率を示した。
[硬化物の屈折率]
上記の方法で形成した硬化物の屈折率をプリズムカプラー法を用いて測定した。なお、測定には632.8nmのレーザー光源を用いた。
[硬化物の透明性]
上記の方法で形成した硬化物の透明性を目視により確認した。
[硬化物の耐熱性]
上記の方法で形成した硬化物を150℃の熱風循環式オーブンで100時間加熱後、目視により着色の有無を確認した。着色のないものを良好と判断した。
[硬化物の水蒸気透過性]
硬化性シリコーン組成物を1mm×15mm×20mmのステンレス製型枠内に流し込み150℃に保持したプレスを用いて10分間加熱し、その後、該型枠からとり、さらに150℃の熱風循環式オーブンで50分間加熱することにより、厚さ1mm厚の硬化物を形成した。この硬化物の透湿度を、JIS Z 0208に規定の方法に従い、温度40℃、湿度90%の条件下で測定した。
[硬化物の破断点歪と破壊エネルギー]
硬化性シリコーン組成物を150℃の加熱プレスで1時間硬化させて、厚み0.5mm、幅5mmの短冊形フィルムを作製した。これを25℃、50%RHの環境下で1日以上放置して調湿した後、万能試験機(島津製作所社製のオートグラフAGS−1kNX)を用いて、チャック間距離25mm、引張速度15mm/分で引張試験を行った。サンプルの破断点歪はチャックの移動距離を5回程度測定した平均値から算出した。また応力—歪曲線カーブの下側の面積から破壊エネルギーを計算した。
[表面実装型の発光ダイオード(LED)の作製]
硬化性シリコーン組成物を使用して表面実装型の発光ダイオード(LED)を次のようにして作製した。この発光ダイオード(LED)の光取り出し測定を次のようにして評価し、それらの評価結果を表1に示した。
ポリフタルアミド(PPA)樹脂ケース1によって周囲を囲まれた一辺5mm×5mmのI−Chiun Precision Industry社製のTTI−5074のLEDリードフレームに、BridgeLux社製のMKO4545Cの1辺1mm×1mmのLEDチップ2を搭載し、次いで、LEDチップ2とインナーリード3を1.5mil太さの金ボンディングワイヤ4により電気的に接続した。ポリフタルアミド(PPA)樹脂ケース1内に、硬化性シリコーン組成物3gおよびIntermatix社製のテルビウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット系蛍光体(製品名 NTAG4851)を0.105g添加し、混合脱泡してディスペンサーを用いて14.3mg注入し、150℃1時間保持して硬化させることにより、図1に示す表面実装型の発光ダイオード(LED)を作製した。
[発光ダイオード(LED)の光取り出し測定]
上記の方法で作製した表面実装型の発光ダイオード(LED)をInstrumental Systems社製ISP250(250mm積分球)とCAS−140CT(スペクトロメーター)を用い、Keithley社製2600 Sourcemeterにて150mAをLEDに通電して光量を測定した。
また、実施例に用いたオルガノポリシロキサンは次のように調製した。また、オルガノポリシロキサンの特性を次のようにして評価した。なお、平均単位式中、Meはメチル基、Viはビニル基、Phはフェニル基、Naphは1−ナフチル基、Naph−Etはナフチルエチル基、Epは3−グリシドキシプロピル基を表わす。
[重量平均分子量および分散度]
UV検出器を用いたゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィーにより、オルガノポリシロキサンの標準ポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)及び数平均分子量(Mn)を求めた。これらの値から、分散度(Mw/Mn)を求めた。
[屈折率]

[参考例1]
反応容器に、1−ナフチルトリメトキシシラン 10g(40.3mmol)、メチルジフェニルシラノール 1.2g(5.6mmol)、1,3−ジビニル−1,3−ジフェニルジメチルジシロキサン 3.3g(10.6mmol)、およびトルエン 20gを投入し、予め混合した後、水 2.2g(122.1mmol)、およびメタノール 10gを投入し、撹拌下、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸 0.069g(0.46mmol)を投入し、2時間加熱還流を行った。その後、85℃になるまで加熱常圧留去を行い、この温度で1時間反応させた。次いで、水酸化カリウム 0.06g(1.1mmol)を投入し、反応温度が120℃になるまで加熱常圧留去を行い、この温度で1時間反応させた。室温まで冷却し、酢酸 0.07g(1.2mmol)を投入し、中和反応を行った。生成した塩を濾別した後、得られた透明な溶液から低沸点物を加熱減圧除去し、無色透明なガム状粘稠液体 10.0g(収率:85.5%)を得た。
NMR分析の結果、この液体は、平均単位式:
(MePh2SiO1/2)0.08(MePhViSiO1/2)0.32(NaphSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンであることがわかった。このオルガノポリシロキサンの重量平均分子量(Mw)は1,000であり、分散度(Mw/Mn)は1.11であり、屈折率は1.623であった。
[参考例2]
反応容器に、1−ナフチルトリメトキシシラン 50g(201.3mmol)、1,3−ジビニル−1,3−ジフェニルジメチルジシロキサン 20.9g(67.3mmol)、およびトルエン 100gを投入し、予め混合した後、水 12.0g(666.1mmol)、およびメタノール 50gを投入し、撹拌下、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸 0.345g(2.3mmol)を投入し、2時間加熱還流を行った。その後、85℃になるまで加熱常圧留去を行い、この温度で1時間反応させた。次いで、水酸化カリウム 0.30g(5.4mmol)を投入し、反応温度が120℃になるまで加熱常圧留去を行い、この温度で1時間反応させた。室温まで冷却し、酢酸 0.40g(6.7mmol)を投入し、中和反応を行った。生成した塩を濾別した後、得られた透明な溶液から低沸点物を加熱減圧除去し、粘度1万Pa・sを超える無色透明な粘稠液体 56.7g(収率:99.3%)を得た。
NMR分析の結果、この粘稠液体は、平均単位式:
(MeViPhSiO1/2)0.40(NaphSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンであることがわかった。このオルガノポリシロキサンの重量平均分子量(Mw)は1,100であり、分散度(Mw/Mn)は1.12であり、屈折率は1.622であった。
[参考例3]
反応容器に、1−ナフチルトリメトキシシラン 50g(201mmol)を投入し、加熱溶融させた後、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸 0.06g(0.4mmol)を添加した。45~50℃に加熱しながら、酢酸 9.3g(154.9mmol)を滴下した。滴下終了後、50℃で30分間加熱撹拌した。反応温度が80℃になるまで低沸点物を加熱常圧留去した。その後、室温まで冷却し、1,1,3,3−テトラメチルジシロキサン 24.4g(181.6mmol)を滴下し、反応温度が45℃になるまで加熱した。次いで、酢酸 18gを45℃~50℃で滴下した。滴下終了後、50℃で30分間加熱撹拌した。空冷または水冷にて60℃以下を保ちながら、無水酢酸 15.5g(151.8mmol)を滴下し、滴下終了後、50℃で30分間加熱撹拌を行った。次に、トルエンと水を投入し、撹拌、静置及び下層抜き出しを繰り返し、水洗を行った。下層のpHが7であることを確認した後、上層であるトルエン層から低沸点物を加熱減圧留去し、無色透明な液体 43g(収率76.0%)を得た。
NMR分析の結果、この液体は、平均単位式:
(HMe2SiO1/2)0.59(NaphSiO3/2)0.41
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンであることがわかった。このオルガノポリシロキサンの重量平均分子量(Mw)は660であり、分散度(Mw/Mn)は1.05であり、屈折率は1.548であった。
[参考例4]
反応容器に、1−ナフチルトリメトキシシラン 148.8g(0.6mol)、1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン 37.2g(0.2mol)を投入し、予め混合した後、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸 0.136g(0.9mmol)を投入し、撹拌下、水35.6g(1.98mol)を投入し、2時間加熱還流を行った。その後、常圧下、85℃になるまで加熱留去を行った。次いで、トルエン 62.0g、水酸化カリウム 0.194g(3.5mmol)を投入し、常圧下、反応温度が120℃になるまで加熱留去を行い、この温度で6時間反応させた。その後、室温まで冷却し、酢酸 0.21g(3.5mmol)を投入し、中和反応を行った。生成した塩を濾別した後、得られた透明な液体から低沸点物を、減圧下、加熱除去し、無色透明なガム状粘稠液体 130.0g(収率89.9%)を得た。
NMR分析の結果、この液体は、平均単位式:
(Me2ViSiO1/2)0.40(NaphSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンであることがわかった。このオルガノポリシロキサンの重量平均分子量(Mw)は1,000であり、分散度(Mw/Mn)は1.03あり、屈折率は1.603であった。
[参考例5]
反応容器に、2−(トリメトキシシリルエチル)ナフタレン 24.84g(90mmol)、1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン 5.58g(30mmol)、およびトルエン 10.4gを投入し、予め混合した後、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸 0.072g(0.48mmol)を投入し、撹拌下、水 5.35g(297mmol)を投入し、2時間加熱還流を行った。その後、常圧下、85℃になるまで加熱留去を行った。次いで、水酸化カリウム 0.068g(1.21mmol)を投入し、常圧下、反応温度が120℃になるまで加熱留去を行い、この温度で6時間反応させた。その後、室温まで冷却し、酢酸0.072g(1.21mmol)を投入し、中和反応を行った。生成した塩を濾別した後、得られた透明な液体から低沸点物を、減圧下、加熱除去し、粘度が137Pa・sである、透明な液体 20.12g(収率83%)を得た。
NMR分析の結果、この液体は、平均単位式:

で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンであることがわかった。このオルガノポリシロキサンの重量平均分子量(Mw)は2,000であり、分散度(Mw/Mn)は1.09あり、屈折率は1.594であった。

この硬化性シリコーン組成物を石英ガラス板上に塗布し、150℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた。得られた硬化物は無色透明であり、25℃における貯蔵弾性率が950MPaであった。また、この硬化物の波長632.8nmにおける屈折率は1.606であった。この硬化物を150℃のオーブン中で100時間加熱エージングしたが、色の変化は観察されなかった。また、この硬化物の透湿度をJIS Z 0208に規定の方法に従い、厚さ1mm、40℃、90%RHの条件で測定したところ、2.4g/m2・24hrであった。
この硬化性シリコーン組成物 3gに、蛍光体(Intermatix社製のNTAG4851) 0.105gを均一に分散させて蛍光材入り硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。この硬化性シリコーン組成物を用いて、LEDデバイスの光取り出し効率を測定したところ、30.1ルーメンであった。

HMe2SiO(Ph2SiO)2.5SiMe2H
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 30.5g、および白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(本組成物中に白金が重量単位で2ppmとなる量)を均一に混合して、粘度が11Pa・sである硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。
この硬化性シリコーン組成物を、石英ガラス板上に塗布し、150℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた。得られた硬化物は無色透明であり、波長632.8nmにおける屈折率は1.559であり、硬化物の破断点歪は41%であり、硬化物の破壊エネルギーは0.2127Jであった。このことから、実施例12の硬化性シリコーン組成物に比べて、得られる硬化物の伸び、破壊強度、および屈折率がいずれも低いことがわかる。なお、この硬化物を150℃のオーブン中で100時間加熱エージングしたが、色の変化は観察されなかった。
[実施例13]
参考例4で調製した、平均単位式:
(Me2ViSiO1/2)0.40(NaphSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 41.5g、平均式:
ViMe2SiO(MePhSiO)25SiMe2Vi
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 20.0g、平均式:
HMe2SiO(Ph2SiO)2.5SiMe2H
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 38.5g、および白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(本組成物中に白金が重量単位で2ppmとなる量)を均一に混合して、粘度が12Pa・sである硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。
この硬化性シリコーン組成物を、石英ガラス板上に塗布し、150℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた。得られた硬化物は無色透明であり、波長632.8nmにおける屈折率は1.580であり、硬化物の破断点歪は191%であり、硬化物の破壊エネルギーは0.1389Jであった。この硬化物を150℃のオーブン中で100時間加熱エージングしたが、色の変化は観察されなかった。
[実施例14]
参考例4で調製した、平均単位式:
(Me2ViSiO1/2)0.40(NaphSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 23.0g、平均単位式:
(Me2ViSiO1/2)0.25(PhSiO3/2)0.75
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 20.5g、平均式:
ViMe2SiO(MePhSiO)25SiMe2Vi
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 20.0g、平均式:
HMe2SiO(Ph2SiO)2.5SiMe2H
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 36.5g、および白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(本組成物中に白金が重量単位で2ppmとなる量)を均一に混合して、粘度が9Pa・sである硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。
この硬化性シリコーン組成物を、石英ガラス板上に塗布し、150℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた。得られた硬化物は無色透明であり、波長632.8nmにおける屈折率は1.569であり、硬化物の破断点歪は139%であり、硬化物の破壊エネルギーは0.0562Jであった。この硬化物を150℃のオーブン中で100時間加熱エージングしたが、色の変化は観察されなかった。
[比較例4]
平均単位式:
(Me2ViSiO1/2)0.25(PhSiO3/2)0.75
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 46.3g、平均式:
ViMe2SiO(MePhSiO)25SiMe2Vi
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 20.0g、平均式:
HMe2SiO(Ph2SiO)2.5SiMe2H
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 33.7g、および白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(本組成物中に白金が重量単位で2ppmとなる量)を均一に混合して、粘度が6Pa・sである硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。
この硬化性シリコーン組成物を、石英ガラス板上に塗布し、150℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた。得られた硬化物は無色透明であり、波長632.8nmにおける屈折率は1.556であり、硬化物の破断点歪は112%であり、硬化物の破壊エネルギーは0.0502Jであった。この硬化物を150℃のオーブン中で100時間加熱エージングしたが、色の変化は観察されなかった。
実施例13や実施例14に比べて、伸びが低く、破壊強度も低く、屈折率も低い。
[実施例15]
参考例5で調製した、平均単位式:
(Me2ViSiO1/2)0.40(Naph−EtSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 56.0g、平均式:
HMe2SiO(Ph2SiO)2.5SiMe2H
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 44.0g、および白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(本組成物中に白金が重量単位で2ppmとなる量)を均一に混合して、粘度が3Pa・sである硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。
この硬化性シリコーン組成物を、石英ガラス板上に塗布し、150℃で1時間加熱することにより硬化させた。得られた硬化物は無色透明であり、波長632.8nmにおける屈折率は1.582であった。この硬化物を150℃のオーブン中で100時間加熱エージングしたが、色の変化は観察されなかった。
[実施例16]
参考例4で調製した、平均単位式:
(MeViPhSiO1/2)0.40(NaphSiO3/2)0.60
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 8g、平均式:
ViMe2SiO(MePhSiO)25SiMe2Vi
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 1.6g、参考例3で調製した、平均単位式:
(HMe2SiO1/2)0.59(NaphSiO3/2)0.41
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 3.2g、平均単位式:
(EpSiO3/2)0.3(ViMeSiO1/2)0.3(Me2SiO1/2)0.3(MeO1/2)0.2
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン 0.08g、環状メチルビニルシロキサン 0.06g、および白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(本組成物中に白金が重量単位で2ppmとなる量)を均一に混合して硬化性シリコーン組成物を調製した。
次に、ガラスエポキシ製基板を圧縮成形機の上型に設置した。下型の上に設置されているテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂製リリースフィルムを、エア吸引によって下型に密着させた。リリースフィルムの上に用意したサンプルを1.4mL塗布した後、上型と下型を合わせ、基板を狭持した状態で、130℃で3MPaの荷重をかけて5分間圧縮成形した。その後、その後、基板を金型から取り出し、さらに150℃のオーブンで1時間加熱処理して、基板上に図2で示されるレンズを作製した。

Claims (9)
- 平均単位式:
(R1 3SiO1/2)a(R1 2SiO2/2)b(R2SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
(式中、R1は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、フェニル基、または水素原子であり、R2は前記R1で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR1もしくはR2はアルケニル基または水素原子であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR2は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンを主成分とするヒドロシリル化反応硬化性シリコーン組成物。 - 一分子中、R2の少なくとも50モル%は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基である、請求項1記載の硬化性シリコーン組成物。
- 縮合多環芳香族基がナフチル基である、請求項1または2記載の硬化性シリコーン組成物。
- (A)平均単位式:
(R11 3SiO1/2)a(R11 2SiO2/2)b(R21SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
(式中、R11は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、またはフェニル基であり、R21は前記R11で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR11またはR21はアルケニル基であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR21は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン、
(B)一分子中に少なくとも2個のケイ素原子結合水素原子を有するオルガノポリシロキサン、および
(C)ヒドロシリル化反応用触媒
から少なくともなる硬化性シリコーン組成物。 - (D)平均単位式:
(R12 3SiO1/2)a(R12 2SiO2/2)b(R22SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
(式中、R12は、アルキル基、フェニル基、または水素原子であり、R22は前記R12で表される基、または縮合多環芳香族基もしくは縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、ただし、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR12またはR22は水素原子であり、一分子中の少なくとも1個のR22は縮合多環芳香族基または縮合多環芳香族基含有基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、それぞれ、0.01≦a≦0.8、0≦b≦0.5、0.2≦c≦0.9、0≦d<0.2、かつ、a+b+c+d=1を満たす数である。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン、
(E)一分子中に少なくとも2個のアルケニル基を有するオルガノポリシロキサン、および(C)ヒドロシリル化反応用触媒
から少なくともなる硬化性シリコーン組成物。 - (A)平均単位式:

(C)ヒドロシリル化反応用触媒
から少なくともなる硬化性シリコーン組成物。 - さらに、蛍光材を含有する請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の硬化性シリコーン組成物。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項記載の硬化性シリコーン組成物を硬化してなる硬化物。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項記載の硬化性シリコーン組成物により光半導体素子を被覆もしくは封止してなる光半導体装置。
