- the conveyance roller 50C is a driving roller that drives the conveyance belt 50D, and includes three conveyance rollers (50C1 to 50C3 not shown) corresponding to the conveyance belts 50D1 to 50D3.
- the conveying roller 50C is a generic name. The same applies to the other transport rollers.
- the alignment mechanism 42 includes a correction roller 50B, a rotation shaft that coaxially arranges the correction roller 50B, a base 50E2 that holds the rotation shaft, and a stay 50E3 that fixes the base 50E2 to the unit base 50F.
- Each of the correction rollers 50B1 to 50B3 is formed in a crown shape in which the central portion of the roller surface is higher than both end portions (the shape in which the diameter becomes larger as the center portion is approached than the diameter of both end portions of the roller). Yes. Further, these three correction rollers 50B1 to 50B3 are fixed to a rotating shaft having a bearing arranged coaxially, and are arranged to circumscribe the conveyor belts 50D1 to 50D3, respectively. Both ends of the rotating shaft are fixed to the base 50E2 by the holder 50E1.
- the base 50E2 is fixed to the rod-like stay 50E3 protruding from the unit base 50F with screws BUS1 and BIS3.

- the conveyance rollers 50A to 50C are cantilevered with respect to the unit base 50F, a portion far from the unit base 50F is easily bent. Due to the influence of this bending, the conveyor belt 50D meanders in the direction indicated by the arrow A50 in the figure, that is, from the near side to the far side (unit base 50F side). Due to this meandering, the bills P sandwiched between the transport belts 50D are similarly shifted from the near side to the far side. If it accumulate
- the correction rollers 50B1 to 50B3 are moved to positions indicated by broken lines. By this movement, the conveyance belt position of the conveyance belt 50D is corrected to the initial state. If there is no problem in the position of the conveying belt, the screws BIS1 and BIS3 are fixed at this position. It is preferable that the amount of rotation of the screw BIS2 is dynamically set while observing the conveyance state of the bills P.
- the center of the roller of the correction roller becomes higher due to the crank shape as described above, and thus the increased roller center moves from the unit base 50F to the front side.
- the conveyor belt 50D is known to move toward a higher position at the center of the roller, and the conveyor belt 50D is corrected based on this principle.
- the conveyance belt 50D1 is corrected from the unit base 50F side to the near side
- the conveyance belt 50D3 is corrected from the near side to the unit base 50F side.
- the main function of the aligning mechanism 42 is to prevent the bill from sliding due to the meandering belt, and to align the center of the bill with the center of the transport path. In addition, when a plurality of modules are connected and the conveyance path becomes long, the bills gradually shift due to the meandering of the belt during conveyance.
- the alignment mechanism 42 corrects the deviation of the bills and aligns it at the center of the transport path.
- the alignment mechanism 42 detects the skew and the slide amount of the banknote in advance with an inspection line sensor, determines the correction amount, and tilts the roller to forcibly correct the banknote.
