Abstract

본 발명은 차량 시트용 래치 어셈블리(latch assembly)에 관한 것으로서, 차체측의 스트라이커(striker)가 인입되는 수용홈부를 갖는 베이스(base)와; 상기 수용홈부에 인입된 스트라이커를 지지하는 로킹 위치와 상기 수용홈부로부터 이탈되는 스트라이커를 개방하는 언로킹 위치 간 회동하는 캐치(catch)와; 상기 베이스에 상기 캐치와 동축으로 회동가능하게 결합되되 탄성적으로 상기 캐치를 가압하여 상기 언로킹 위치로 회동하도록 하며 탄성적으로 상기 수용홈부에 인입된 스트라이커를 가압 및 지지하는 댐핑면이 형성된 댐핑플레이트(damping plate)와; 상기 베이스에 회동가능하게 결합되며 상기 로킹 위치로 회동한 캐치를 가압하는 가압면이 형성된 포올플레이트(pawl plate); 및 상기 베이스에 상기 포올플레이트와 동축으로 회동가능하게 결합되며 상기 로킹 위치의 캐치가 외부 충격으로 인해 상기 포올플레이트의 가압면을 이기고 회동을 개시할 경우 상기 캐치를 지지함으로써 추가 회동을 저지하는 지지면이 형성된 포올(pawl)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의해, 안전성, 원활한 작동성, 조작의 편리성 및 소음 발생 감소 등의 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
