Abstract

 本発明は、低コストかつ信頼性に優れる積層型表示素子及びその製造方法に関し、画素領域を狭めず、電極形成の歩留まりが高く、高温プロセスを必要としない層間接続が可能な積層型表示素子及びその製造方法と、外部接続基板の使用数を削減することが可能な積層型表示素子及びその製造方法とを提供することを目的とする。  積層型液晶表示素子1は、液晶表示パネル3の非表示領域に形成されてR、G、B用液晶表示パネル3r、3g、3bのデータ電極23r、23g、23bと複数のデータ信号入力端子4とを層間接続する複数のデータ電極層間配線2と、当該非表示領域に形成されてR、G、B用液晶表示パネル3r、3g、3bの走査電極21r、21g、21bと複数の走査信号入力端子とを層間接続する複数の走査電極層間配線(不図示)とを有している。
