Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a polipéptidos recombinantes que tienen actividades de UDP-glicosiltransferasa, incluyendo una actividad de glicosilación de 1,2-19-O-glucosa y una actividad de glicosilación de 1,2-13-O-glucosa para sintetizar glucósidos de esteviol; también se provee un método para producir una composición de glicósido de esteviol mediante el uso de tal polipéptido recombinante; también se describen gliccósidos de esteviol referidos como rebaudiósido Z1 y rebaudiosido Z2.
