Abstract
본 발명은 워크스트림의 오염물들을 정화하기 위한 장치 및 그 제조 및 사용방법에 관한 것이다. 하나의 장치는 무기 모노리딕 다공성 미립자 필터 및 상기 필터의 다공에 주입된 연속적인 활성카본 코팅으로 구성된다. 바람직하기로는, 상기 필터는 입구면 및 출구면 및 다공벽에 의해 분리되며 이들을 통하여 입구단으로부터 출구단까지 세로 방향으로 서로 평행하게 연장하는 다중셀을 가지며, 상기 전체 셀 갯수중 일부는 상기 입구 말단면에서 플러그되어 지며, 상기 전체 셀갯수중에서 나머지는 상기 장치의 출구 말단면에서 플러그되어진다. 또다른 장치는 다중셀 구조물을 가지는 활성카본으로 전적으로 구성될 수 있다. 오염물을 함유하는 워크스트림은 오염물을 보유하기 위하여 상기 장치를 통하여 통과된다. 상기 장치는 오염물을 제거하고 장치를 재생하기 위하여 이를 통하여 전류를 전도시키기 위한 전기전도 수단을 가질 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 카본 코팅을 가지는 다공성 필터 장치를 개략적으로 나타낸 도면, 제2도는 제1도의 장치 내부에서 그 길이에 따른 셀 및 일부 셀들의 플러그를 개략적으로 나타낸 도면.
Claims (15)
- (a) 다공성 모노리딕 미립자 필터와; (b) 필터의 다공 및 외표면상에 걸쳐서 분포된 연속적인 활성 카본 코팅을 포함하는 워크스트림 정화장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 필터는 입구면 및 출구면을 가지는 다중셀 모노리스와, 상기 입구면과 출구면 사이를 통하여 세로방향으로 서로 연장하는 복수개의 셀을 한정하는 다공벽 매트릭스를 포함하며, 상기 전체 셀 갯수중 일부는 상기 입구 말단면에서 플러그되어지며, 상기 전체 셀갯수중에서 나머지는 상기 모노리스의 출구 말단면에서 플러그되어진 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치.
- 입구면 및 출구면을 가지는 활성카본 모노리스 구조물과, 다공성 벽에 의해 격리되고 그를 통하여 상기 입구단으로부터 상기 출구단까지 세로방향으로 서로 평행하게 연장하는 다중셀을 포함하며, 상기 전체 셀 갯수중 일부는 상기 입구 말단면에서 플러그되어지며, 상기 전체 셀갯수중에서 나머지는 상기 장치의 출구 말단면에서 플러그되어진 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치.
- 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 필터는 비전도성 물질로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치.
- 제1항, 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 필터는 코르디어라이트, 뮬라이트 및 이들의 결합물로 구성되는 군으로부터 선택된 물질로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치.
- 제2항, 제3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 장치를 통하여 전류를 전도시키기 위하여 상기 필터상에 전기전도 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치.
- (a) 다공성 무기 모노리스 필터를 제공하는 단계; (b) 상기 필터의 다공에 카본 선구물을 주입하는 단계; (c) 상기 카본 선구물을 경화시키는 단계; (d) 상기 필터상에 균일하고 연속적인 접착성 카본코팅을 형성하기 위하여 상기 경화된 카본 코팅을 탄화시키는 단계; 및 (e) 상기 필터상에 연속적인 활성카보 코팅을 형성하여 장치를 제조하기 위하여 카본을 활성화시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 필터는 입구면 및 출구면을 가지는 다중 셀 모노리스와, 상기 입구면과 출구면 사이를 통하여 세로방향으로 서로 연장하는 복수개의 셀을 한정하는 다공벽 매트릭스를 포함하며, 상기 전체 셀 갯수중 일부는 상기 입구 말단면에서 플러그되어지며, 상기 전체 셀갯수중에 나머지는 상기 필터의 출구 말단면 또는 하나거른 말단에서 플러그되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치 제조방법.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서, 상기 열경화성 수지는 페놀 레졸이거나 또는 또다른 열경화수지임을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치 제조방법.
- (a) 입구 말단면 및 출구 말단면을 가지는 다중셀 활성카본 구조물 및 상기 입구면과 출구면 사이를 통하여 세로방향으로 서로 연장하는 복수개의 셀을 한정하는 다공벽 매트릭스를 제공하는 단계; 및 (b) 상기 장치를 형성하기 위하여 상기 전체 셀 갯수중 일부는 상기 입구 말단면에서 플러그시키고, 상기 전체 셀갯수중에서 나머지는 상기 필터의 출구 말단면 또는 하나거른 말단에서 플러그시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치 제조방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 다중 화성카본 구조물이 활성카본, 활성카본 선구물 및 이들의 결합물로 구성되는 군으로부터 선택된 카본으로 이루어지는 혼합물을 형성시킴으로써 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치 제조방법.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 상기 장치를 통하여 전류를 전도하기 위하여 상기 필터상에 전기전도 수단을 제공하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림 정화장치 제조방법.
- 제1항, 제5항, 제9항 또는 제10항에 따른 장치를 통과하여 흐르는 워크스트림으로부터 오염물을 제거하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 상기 워크스트림으로부터 오염물을 제거시키기 위하여 상기 워크스트림을 상기 장치의 입구면에서 열린 셀들로 유입시켜 다공성벽을 통과하시키는 단계; 및 그 이후, (b) 출구면에서 상기 열린 셀들을 통하여 최종 정화된 워크스트림을 상기 장치로부터 배출시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림으로부터 오염물을 제거하는 방법.
- 제13에 있어서, 상기 방법이 휘발성 오염물들을 충분히 흡수되도록 상기 장치의 온도를 증가시키기 위하여 가열시키는 부가적인 단계를 포함함으로써 휘발성 오염물이 상기 출구면의 열린 셀들을 통하여 장치로부터 배출시켜 상기 장치가 재사용하기 위하여 재생되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 워크스트림으로부터 오염물을 제거하는 방법.
- 반응물을 함유하는 워크스트림을 상기 반응물을 위한 촉매장치를 가지는 상기 제1항의 장치를 통하여 통과시키는 단계를 포함하는 화학반응 수행방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
