Abstract

자동차용 에어백 쿠션의 전개를 탑승자의 흉부측으로 향하도록 안내하는 장치인 테더는 파열 가능한 이음부에 의해 몇군데의 위치에서 자체적으로 접혀서 부착되어 있다. 에어백 쿠션이 전개할때, 잘려 짧아진 테더 혹은 테더들은 양철통에 고정된 쿠션의 한 지점을 중심으로 쿠션이 회전하도록 자용시켜서 이 쿠션을 하향으로 이동되도록 한다. 따라서, 상기 쿠션은 파열이음부가 없는 테더를 장착한 에어백 쿠션보다 더욱 신속히 탑승자의 흉부 전방의 위치로 움직이게 된다.

제2도는 테더의 파열 가능한 부착 수단이 해제된 후 완전히 전개된 상태의 에어백 쿠션을 도시한 것으로 에어백 쿠션과 테더의 측면도,
제3도는 파열 가능한 파스너 수단용 바느질 구조를 도시하는 본 발명에 따른 테더의 평면도,
제4도는 파열 가능한 파스너 수단용 바느질 구조를 도시하는 본 발명에 따른 또다른 테더의 평면도.

Claims (5)

  1. 차량의 탑승자실에 사용되는 자동차용 에어백 쿠션을 구성하는 장치에 있어서, 전면과 배면으로 구성되고 차량 탑승자의 반대편에 배치된 제1부분과, 상기 제1부분에 부착되고 상기 에어백 쿠션을 위한 가스 유입구를 형성하는 제3부분전까지 구성된 제2부분으로 이루어진 에어백 쿠션과; 제1단부 및 제2단부와 제1연부 및 제2연부를 구비하는 최소한 하나의 테더를 포함하며, 상기 각 테더의 제1단부는 상기 제1부분의 배면에 부착되고 상기 각 테더의 제2단부는 상기 에어백 쿠션의 상기 제3부분과 인접한 곳에 부착되는데, 상기 테더 각각은 제1테더 구역과 제2테더 구역을 형성하도록 자체적으로 접하게 되며, 상기 제1데터 구역 각각은 파열 가능한 고정수단에 의해 최소한 이격된 접촉 지점에서 상기 제2테더 구역과 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 에어백을 구성하는 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 가스 발생기와 팽창 가능한 탑승자용 잡힌 쿠션의 최소한 일부를 위해 제공되는 공동을 형성하는 벽을 지니고 내측 및 외측으로 구성된 차량용 에어백 쿠션의 양철통을 또한 포함하며, 상기 벽은 상기 양철통내의 상기 공동에 형성된 개구를 또한 구비하며, 가스 발생기는 상기 공동내에서 압력하에 가스를 발생시키도록 작동하며, 상기 테더의 상기 제2단부는 상기 에어백 쿠션의 상기 제3부분에 인접한 상기 차량용 에어백 쿠션의 상기 내벽에 밀착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 에어백을 구성하는 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테더의 재질은 나일론, 폴리에스터, 및 폴리아미드로 구성된 그룹에서 선택된 직조 섬유로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 에어백을 구성하는 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 파열 가능한 파스너 수단은 고리 및 루우프형의 파스너인 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 에어백을 구성하는 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 파열 가능한 파스너 수단은 파열 가능한 바느질된 수단인 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 에어백을 구성하는 장치.
