Abstract

본 발명은 요오드 분자로 산화시킨 후 활성탄에 흡착시킴을 특징으로 하는, 요오드 함유 알칼리 금속 염화물 수용액의 정제 방법에 관한 것이다.
요오드를 흡착시키기 전에 활성탄을 함유하는 용액으로 활성탄을 산화시킴으로써, 용액의 요오드 함량은 0.05㎎/l로 감소될 수 있다.
본 발명은 특히 막을 함유하는 셀에서 전기 분해되는 염화나트륨 염수를 정제하는데 특히 유용하다.

Claims (8)

  1. 요오드 분자로 산화시킨 후, 활성탄에 흡착시킴을 특징으로 하는, 요오드를 함유하는 알칼리 금속 염화물 수용액의 정제방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 환성탄을 산화시킴을 특징으로 하는 정제방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 산화가 활성탄에 활성 염소를 함유하는 용액을 통과시킴으로써 수행됨을 특징으로 하는 정제 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 활성탄이 요오드용 용매와 접촉시킴으로서 재생됨을 특징으로 하는 정제 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 흡·착된 요오드가 탈착되는 요오드화물로 전환될 때가지 환원제와 접촉시킴으로서 환성탄이 재생됨을 특징으로 하는 정제 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 환원제가 산성의 PH에 있음을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 요오드를 활성탄에 흡착시킴을 특징으로 하는, 요오드 분자 형태로 요오드를 함유하는 알칼리 금속 염화물 수용액의 정제 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 알칼리 금속이 나트륨임을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
