제1도는 본 발명의 미공성물질의 제조과정에 사용되는 장치의 개략적 설명도.
제2도는 비교용으로 제조된 폴리프로필렌 미공성시이트의 표면구조를 찍은 현미경 사진.

Claims (29)

  1. 하기한 과정에 의해 미공성 제품을 제조하는 방법 : 결정성 열소성 중합체 약 15 내지 80중량부, 핵형성제가 없이 열소성 중합체를 결정화 시킬때에 비해 상당히 많은 결정화면에서 상기 열소성 중합체의 결정화를 개시시키기 위한 충분량의 핵형성제, 그리고 상기 열소성 중합체와 혼합될 수 있고 상기 열소성 중합체를 그것의 용융온도에서 용해시킬 수 있으나 이 열소성 중합체의 결정화 온도 또는 그 이하의 온도로 냉각시상 분리를 일으킬 수 있는 특징을 갖는 화합물 85 내지 20중량부로 구성된 혼합물을 제조하기 위해 용융 혼합시키고 ; 상기 용융 혼합된 혼합물로 일정 형태의 제품을 제조하고 ; 상기 핵형성제가 상기 열소성 중합체 내의 결정화면에서 결정화를 유발시켜 상기 화합물과 중합체간의 상분리를 유도하고, 그럼으로써 일차층에는 결정화된 열소성 중합체의 입자가 집합체형태로 생성되어 포함되고 2차층에는 상기 화합물이 인접한 열소성 입자와 함께 함유되어 있으며 이 입자들은 서로 분리되어 있으면서도 다수의 연속성의 영역을 갖도록 배열되는 냉각 온도로 상기 일정형태의 제품을 냉각시키고, 여기에서 상기 입자는 핵 형성제가 존재하지 않을때에 비해 상당히 감소된 크기를 갖는 것이 특징이며 ; 인접한 열소성 중합체 입자를 서로 분리하여 그들간에 상호 연결된 마이크로포어의 그물구조를 제공하고 상기 연속성의 영역에서 열소성 중합체를 가늘게 하여 파이브릴을 형성하기 위해서 상기 일정형태의 제품을 최소한 한쪽 방향으로 스트레칭 시킨다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 핵 형성제의 양이 중합체 100부당 약 0.1 내지 5중량부인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 단위 부피당 파이브릴의 수를 핵 형성제가 존재하지 않을 때 입자간에 존재할 수 있는 단위 부피당 파이브릴 수보다 증가시키기 위해 상기 입자가 충분량의 핵 형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 파이브릴의 길이를, 핵형성제를 사용하지 않은 경우에 비해 증가시키기 위해 상기 입자가 충분한 량의 핵형성제를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미공성 제품의 신장력을 핵형성제가 없는 경우의 미공성 제품의 신장력 이상으로 증가시키기 위해 상기 입자가 충분량의 핵형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미공성 제품을 형성하는 물질의 스트레칭성이 핵형성제를 함유하지 않은 미공성 제품을 형성한 물질의 스트레칭성 이상으로 증가시키기 위해 상기 입자가 충분량의 상기 핵형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 입자의 평균 크기가 약2μ 또는 그 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스트레칭 단계가 상기 일정형태의 제품을 2축 방향으로 스트레칭 시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스트레칭 단계가 상기 일정형태의 제품의 면적을 원 면적의 약 10% 내지 1200% 정도 증가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 또한 상기 화합물을 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 또한 스트레치된 제품을 열 안정화 온도로 가열하여 상기 스트레치된 제품을 디멘젼적으로 안정화시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 핵형성제가 아릴알칸산 화합물, 벤조산 화합물 그리고 디카르복실산 화합물로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 핵 형성제가 디벤질리딘 솔 비톨인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  14. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 핵 형성제가 티타늄 디옥사이드, 탈크, 아디프산, 벤조산 및 미세금속 입자로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  15. 결정성 열소성 중합체와 핵 형성제를 함유하는 미공성물질에 있어서, 상기 미공성 물질은 중복성의 공간과 불규칙적으로 배열된 불균일한 모양의 동일축을 갖는 상기 열소성입자로 이루어진 내부구조를 갖으며, 상기 물질 전반에 걸친 인접한 입자들은 서로 분리되어 내부가 연결된 마이크로 포어의 그물구조를 갖는 상기물질을 제공하고 상기열소성 중합체로 구성된 다수의 파이브릴에 의해 마이크로포어들이 연결되며, 상기입자의 크기는 핵형성제를 사용하지 않았을때의 입자크기에 비해 상당히 감소하도록 상기 입자가 상당량의 핵형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 단위 부피당 파이브릴의 수를, 핵 형성제를 함유하지 않은 경우에 비해 상당히 증가시키기 위해 상기 입자가 충분량의 핵형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  17. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 입자가 충분량의 핵 형성제를 함유하고 있어서 파이브릴의 길이가 핵 형성제를 사용하지 않은 경우에 비해 상당히 증가된 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  18. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 입자가 충분량의 핵 형성제를 함유하고 있는 미공성 물질에 있어서 이 미공성물질의 신장력이 핵형성제를 사용하지 않은 경우에 비해 상당히 증가된 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  19. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 입자가 충분량의 핵형성제를 함유하고 있어서 상기 미공성 물질을 형성하는 물질의 스트레칭성이 핵형성제를 사용하지 않은 경우에 비해 상당히 증가된 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  20. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 입자의 평균 크기가 약 2μ 또는 그 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성물질.
  21. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 핵형성제가 중합체 100부당 약 0.1내지 5중량부인 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  22. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 핵형성제가 아릴알칼산 화합물, 벤조산 화합물 및 디카르복실산 화합물로 구성된 그룹중에서 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  23. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 핵 형성제가 디벤질리딘 솔 비톨인 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성물질.
  24. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 핵 형성제가 티타늄 디옥사이드, 탈크, 아디프산, 벤조산 및 미세금속입자로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  25. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 열소성 중합체가 폴리프로필렌인 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성물질.
  26. 결정성 열소성 중합체 약 15 내지 80중량부, 이 열소성 중합체의 결정화를 유발시킬 수 있는 핵형성제 약 0.1내지 5 중량부, 그리고 상기 열소성 중합체와 혼합될 수 있고 상기 열소성 중합체를 그것의 용융온도에서 용해시킬 수 있으나 이 열소성 중합체의 결정화 온도 또는 그 이하의 온도로 냉각시 상 분리를 일으킬 수 있는 특징을 갖는 화합물 85 내지 20중량부로 구성된 미공성 물질에 있어서, 상기 미공성 물질은 중복성의 공간과 불규칙적으로 분산된 불균일한 모양의 동일축을 갖는 상기 화합물로 피복된 상기 열소성입자에 의해 특징지워진 내부구조를 갖으며, 상기 물질 전반에 걸친 인접한 피복 입자들은 서로 분리되어 상호 연결된 마이크로 포어의 그물구조를 갖는 상기 물질을 제공하고 상기 열소성 중합체로 구성된 다수의 파이브러리에 의해 마이크로포어들이 서로 연결되며, 상기 입자의 크기는 핵형성제를 사용하지 않았을 때의 입자크기에 비해 상당히 감소하도록 상기 입자가 상당량의 핵 형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  27. 제26항에 있어서, 상기 미공성 물질중의 화합물 : 중합체 비율을 핵 형성제를 함유하고 있지 않은 경우에 비해 상당히 증가시키기 위해 상기 입자가 충분량의 상기 핵형성제를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
  28. 제26항에 있어서, 상기 열소성 중합체와 상기 화합물이 각각 하기한(a) 내지 (e)의 그룹으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질 ; (a) 폴리프로필렌 및 광물유, 디옥틸프탈레이트 또는 광물 주정(spirits) ; (b) 폴리에틸렌 및 광물유 또는 광물주정 : (c) 폴리프로필렌-폴리에틸렌공중합체 및 광물유 ; (d) 나일론과 트리에틸렌 글리콜 ; 그리고 (e) 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드 및 디부틸프탈레이트.
  29. 제26항에 있어서, 상기 핵형성제가 디벤질리딘 솔비톨인 것을 특징으로 하는 미공성 물질.
