Claims (42)
- 하나 이상의 실질적인 구형 비이드를 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물로서,상기 각각의 실질적인 구형 비이드가 캡슐화 물질 내에 캡슐화된 하나 이상의 높은 종횡비의 입자를 포함하고, 실질적인 구형 비이드가 10 내지 300㎛의 평균 직경을 갖는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,높은 종횡비를 갖는 입자가 알루미늄, 금, 은, 구리, 니켈, 티탄, 스테인레스 강, 황화니켈, 황화코발트, 황화망간, 금속 산화물, 백운모, 흑운모, 합성 운모, 이산화티탄으로 코팅된 운모, 금속-코팅된 유리 플레이크 또는 착색제중 하나 이상을 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,캡슐화 물질이 스타이렌, 알파-메틸 스타이렌, 파라-메틸 스타이렌, 아크릴로나이트릴, 알킬 아크릴레이트, 알킬 메타크릴레이트, 메틸 메타크릴레이트, 다이비닐 벤젠 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 단량체로부터 유도되는 구조 단위를 갖는 중합체를 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,캡슐화 물질이 폴리스타이렌, 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트, 스타이렌 아크릴로나이트릴 공중합체, 메틸 메타크릴레이트 스타이렌 아크릴로나이트릴 공중합체 또는 아크릴로나이트릴-스타이렌-아크릴레이트 수지중 하나 이상을 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,하나 이상의 첨가제를 추가로 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,하나 이상의 첨가제가 착색제, 열안정화제, 산화 억제제, 뷰틸화 하이드록시톨루엔, 라디칼 소거제, 비닐계 단량체, 충전재, 충격 개질제, UV 흡수제 또는 난연제중 하나 이상을 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.

- 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,높은 종횡비를 갖는 입자가 1.5:1 내지 40:1의 평균 종횡비를 갖는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 12 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,실질적인 구형 비이드가 75 내지 125μ의 평균 직경을 갖는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 13 항에 있어서,실질적인 구형 비이드가 150μ의 최대 직경을 갖는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 14 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,캡슐화 물질 내에 캡슐화된 높은 종횡비의 입자의 평균 중량%가 안료 비이드의 중량에 기초하여 0.1 내지 25중량%인 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 15 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,높은 종횡비의 입자가 2 내지 100개의 마면(facet)을 갖는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 16 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,캡슐화 물질이 가교결합된 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,가교결합 밀도가 가교결합제 100부당 0.15 내지 0.8부(pph)인 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,가교결합 밀도가 가교결합제 100부당 0.2부인 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 하나 이상의 실질적인 구형 비이드를 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물로서,상기 각각의 실질적인 구형 비이드가 스타이렌인 하나 이상의 단량체로부터 유도되는 구조 단위를 갖는 중합체를 포함하는 캡슐화 물질 내에 캡슐화된 하나 이상의 높은 종횡비의 알루미늄 플레이크를 포함하고, 상기 플레이크가 1.5:1 내지 40:1의 평균 종횡비를 가지며, 캡슐화된 안료 조성물이 플레이크 0.1 내지 25중량%를 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물.
- 플라스틱 매트릭스 물질 및 제 1 항 내지 제 20 항중 어느 한 항에 따른 캡슐화된 안료 조성물을 포함하는 수지 조성물.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,플라스틱 매트릭스 물질이 열가소성 플라스틱, 폴리에스터, 폴리올레핀, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리뷰틸렌, 폴리메틸펜텐; 스타이렌 단량체로부터 유도되는 구조 단위를 포함하는 수지, 폴리스타이렌, 스타이렌-아크릴로나이트릴 공중합체, 아크릴로나이트릴-스타이렌-뷰타다이엔, 아크릴로나이트릴-스타이렌-아크릴레이트; 폴리아마이드; 폴리카본에이트; 비스페놀 A 폴리카본에이트; 폴리페닐렌 에터; 폴리이미드; 폴리아마이드 이미드; 폴리에터이미드; 폴리설폰; 폴리에터 설폰; 폴리케톤; 폴리에터 케톤; 폴리에터 에터 케톤; 폴리아릴레이트; 페녹시 수지; 플루오로카본 수지; 열가소성 탄성중합체; 폴리스타이렌, 폴리올레핀, 폴리우레탄, 폴리에터, 폴리아마이드, 폴리뷰타다이엔, 폴리아이소프렌, 플루오르-함유 단량체로부터 유도되는 열가소성 탄성중합체; 천연 고무, 합성 고무, 임의의 이들 성분의 공중합체 또는 개질체, 및 이들 성분중 둘 이상의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 일원을 포함하는 수지 조성물.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,플라스틱 매트릭스 물질이 아크릴로나이트릴-스타이렌-뷰타다이엔 공중합체를 포함하는 수지 조성물.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,플라스틱 매트릭스 물질이 폴리카본에이트를 추가로 포함하는 수지 조성물.
- 제 21 항 내지 제 24 항중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물로부터 제조된 성형품.
- 제 25 항에 있어서,눈에 보이는 유동선이 실질적으로 존재하지 않는 성형품.
- 제 25 항 또는 제 26 항에 있어서,성형하는 동안 조성물을 배합함을 포함하는 방법에 의해 제조된 성형품.
- 현탁 중합을 통해, 캡슐화 물질 내에 캡슐화된 하나 이상의 높은 종횡비의 입자를 포함하는 하나 이상의 실질적인 구형 비이드를 포함하는 캡슐화된 안료 조성물을 제조하는 방법으로서,단량체 또는 중합체중 하나 이상 및 가교결합제에 높은 종횡비의 입자를 분산시켜, 현탁 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;현탁제를 포함하는 수성 혼합물에 현탁 혼합물을 첨가하는 단계;수성 반응 혼합물을 가열 및 혼합하여 실질적인 구형 비이드의 형성을 조장하는 단계(여기에서는, 대부분의 실질적인 구형 비이드가 하나 이상의 높은 종횡비의 입자를 이들 높은 종횡비의 입자가 가공하는 동안 이층되지 않는 한도까지 캡슐화시킴);실질적인 구형 비이드가 형성된 후 수성 반응 혼합물을 급랭시키는 단계; 및실질적인 구형 비이드를 수거하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 28 항에 있어서,현탁 혼합물을 수성 반응 혼합물에 첨가하기 전에 현탁 혼합물을 초음파 처리함으로써 현탁 혼합물에 하나 이상의 높은 종횡비의 입자를 현탁시킴을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 29 항에 있어서,중력 침강 및 원심분리중 하나 이상을 이용하여 실질적인 구형 비이드를 다양한 배치(batch)로 분리함을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서,중력 침강이,a) 실질적인 구형 비이드를 슬러리 용액에 재슬러리화시켜, 원래 부피를 갖는 분리 시스템을 형성시키고;b) 분리 시스템을 혼합하며;c) 분리 시스템을 평형상태가 될 때까지 정치시키고;d) 사용가능한 실질적인 구형 비이드 분획을 분리 시스템으로부터 제거한 후;e) 분리 시스템으로부터 수득된 사용가능한 실질적인 구형 비이드 분획을 여과하고;f) 여과된 사용가능한 실질적인 구형 비이드 분획을 세척하여 임의의 과량의 슬러리 용액을 제거하고;g) 분리 시스템에 잔류하는 실질적인 구형 비이드 및 슬러리 용액에 소정량의 탈이온수를 첨가하여 분리 시스템의 부피를 원래 부피로 되돌리며;h) 실질적인 구형 비이드가 모두 분리 시스템으로부터 제거될 때까지 필요한 만큼 단계 b) 내지 g)를 반복함을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 31 항에 있어서,실질적인 구형 비이드를 건조시킴을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 32 항에 있어서,수지 조성물에 실질적인 구형 비이드를 사용함을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 28 항 내지 제 33 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,안료가 착색제, 솔벤트 블루 35, 솔벤트 블루 36, 디스퍼스 바이올렛 26, 솔벤트 그린 3, 아나플라스트 오렌지 LFP, 모플라스 레드 36 및 페릴렌 레드로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 일원을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제 34 항에 있어서,안료가 솔벤트 블루 35 및 솔벤트 블루 36으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 제 28 항 내지 제 35 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,높은 종횡비를 갖는 입자가 알루미늄, 금, 은, 구리, 니켈, 티탄, 스테인레스 강, 황화니켈, 황화코발트, 황화망간, 금속 산화물, 백운모, 흑운모, 합성 운모, 이산화티탄으로 코팅된 운모, 금속-코팅된 유리 플레이크 또는 착색제중 하나 이상을 포함하는 방법.
- 제 28 항 내지 제 36 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,현탁 혼합물이 스타이렌, 메틸 메타크릴레이트, 스타이렌 아크릴로나이트릴, 다이비닐벤젠 또는 개질된 비스페놀 A중 하나 이상을 포함하는 방법.

- 제 28 항 내지 제 39 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,조성물을 수득하기 위하여 생성된 수거된 실질적인 구형 비이드를 선별하는 단계를 추가로 포함하고, 이 때 실질적인 구형 비이드가 75 내지 125μ의 평균 직경을 갖는 방법.
