Claims (12)
- 은을 지지체 표면적 1㎡ 당 0.19g 이하의 양으로 함유하는, 지지체를 구비한 고선택성 에폭시화 촉매의 선택성을 향상시키는 방법으로서,- 상기 촉매 또는 은을 양이온 형태로 함유하는 상기 촉매의 전구체를, 250℃ 이상의 촉매 온도에서 최대 150시간 동안 산소 함유 원료와 접촉시키는 단계, 및- 그 다음 촉매 온도를 250℃ 이하로 감소시키는 단계를 포함하는 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가, 표면적이 적어도 1㎡/g이고, 직경이 0.2 내지 10㎛ 범위인 세공이 총 세공 부피의 적어도 70%이며 이러한 세공들이 함께 지지체 중량 기준으로 적어도 0.25ml/g의 세공 부피를 제공하는 세공 크기 분포를 보유하는 α-알루미나 지지체를 포함하는 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매는 은 외에도, IA족 금속, 하나 이상의 선택성 증강용 도판트를 포함하되, 상기 선택성 증강용 도판트는 레늄, 몰리브덴, 및 텅스텐에서 선택되는 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 촉매가 지지체 상에 은 외에도, 레늄 또는 이의 화합물, 추가의 금속 또는 이의 화합물, 및 선택적으로 레늄 공촉진제를 포함하되, 상기 추가의 금속 또는 이의 화합물은 IA족 금속, IIA족 금속, 몰리브덴, 텅스텐, 크롬, 티타늄, 하프늄, 지르코늄, 바나듐, 탈륨, 토륨, 탄탈륨, 니오븀, 갈륨 및 게르마늄과 이의 혼합물로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되고, 상기 레늄 공촉진제는 황, 인, 붕소 및 이의 화합물 중 하나 이상에서 선택되는 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매에 α-알루미나 지지체가 포함되고, 이 지지체 표면적에 대해 은의 양이 최대 0.17g/㎡, 바람직하게는, 0.01 내지 0.15g/㎡ 범위, 보다 바람직하게는 0.02 내지 0.12g/㎡ 범위인 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 촉매가 총 촉매를 기준으로 50 내지 250g/kg 함량의 은을 포함하고, 지지체가 1 내지 5㎡/g 범위의 표면적을 보유하는 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 총 원료 기준으로 1 내지 30v% 함량의 산소를 함유하는 원료와 250℃ 내지 320℃ 범위의 온도에서 접촉되는 것이 특징인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 원료가 산소 외에 올레핀을 함유하는 것이 특징인 방법.
- - 은을 지지체 표면적 1㎡당 최대 0.19g의 양으로 함유하는, 지지체를 구비한 고선택성 에폭시화 촉매 또는 은을 양이온 형태로 함유하는 상기 촉매의 전구체를, 250℃ 이상의 촉매 온도에서 최대 150시간 동안 산소 함유 원료와 접촉시키는 단계, 및- 그 다음 촉매 온도를 250℃ 이하로 감소시키고 이러한 촉매를 올레핀 및 산소 함유 원료와 접촉시키는 단계를 포함하는 것이 특징인, 올레핀 에폭시화 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 올레핀이 에틸렌인 것이 특징인 올레핀 에폭시화 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 올레핀 및 산소 함유 원료가 추가로 반응 개질제로서 유기 염화물과 경우에 따라 질산염 형성 화합물 또는 아질산염 형성 화합물을 포함하는 것이 특징인 올레핀 에폭시화 방법.
- 제9항에 따른 올레핀 에폭시화 방법에 의해 수득된 산화올레핀을 1,2-디올, 1,2-디올 에테르 또는 알칸올아민으로 전환시키는 것을 포함하는 1,2-디올, 1,2-디올 에테르, 또는 알칸올아민의 제조방법.
