Claims (22)
- 2 개 이상의 상호 연결된 중합구역에서 행해지는 기상 촉매 중합 방법으로서, 반응 조건하의 촉매의 존재하에서 하나 이상의 단량체를 상기 중합구역에 공급하는 단계와, 상기 중합구역으로부터 중합체 생성물을 회수하는 단계로 이루어지며, 이 방법에서, 성장중의 중합체 입자는 빠른 유동화 또는 수송 조건하에서 상기 중합구역 (상승관) 의 하나를 통해 상부로 흐르고, 상기 상승관을 나가 중력작용하에서 아래로 흐르게 하는 다른 중합구역 (하강관) 으로 들어가며, 상기 하강관을 나가 상승관으로 재유입되기 때문에, 중합체가 상승관과 하강관 사이에서 순환되는 기상 촉매 중합 방법에 있어서,- 상승관내에 존재하는 가스 혼합물이 하강관으로 들어가는 것을 전체적으로 또는 부분적으로 방지할 수 있는 수단을 제공하고,- 상승관에 존재하는 가스 혼합물과 조성이 다른 가스 및/또는 액체 혼합물이 하강관으로 유입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 중합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상승관내에 존재하는 가스 혼합물과 조성이 다른 가스 및/또는 액체 혼합물의 하강관으로의 유입은, 상승관내에 존재하는 가스 혼합물이 하강관으로 들어가는 것을 방지하는데 효과적인 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 중합 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 조성이 다른 가스 및/또는 액체 혼합물의 하강관으로의 유입은, 하강관의 상한에서 상방으로의 순 가스 유동 (net gas flow) 을 확보하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 중합 방법.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서, 조성이 다른 가스 및/또는 액체 혼합물의 하강관으로의 유입은, 하강관에 배치된 하나 이상의 유입 라인을 통하여 작용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 중합 방법

- 제 1 수직 반응기 (1), 제 2 수직 반응기 (2) 를 포함하는 기상 촉매 중합 장치로서, 상기 반응기 (1) 의 상부 영역은 연결부 (3) 에 의해서 고체/가스 분리기 (4) 에 연결되고, 차례로 상기 고체/가스 분리기는 상기 제 2 반응기 (2) 의 상부 영역에 연결되며, 상기 제 2 반응기 (2) 의 저부 영역은 연결부 (5) 에 의해 상기 제 1 반응기 (1) 의 저부 영역에 연결되고, 상기 고체/가스 분리기 (4) 는 재순환 라인 (6) 을 통해 상기 연결부 (5) 또는 상기 반응기 (1) 로 재유입하는 하나 이상의 지점에 연결되며, 상기 반응기 (1) 에 촉매를 공급하는 라인 (12), 상기 반응기 (2) 로부터의 중합체 배출 시스템 (11), 및 단량체를 공급하는 라인 (13) 을 가지는 장치에 있어서,상기 반응기 (2) 로 가스 또는 액체를 공급하는 라인 (15) 을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 촉매 중합 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 반응기 (2) 에 가스 또는 액체를 공급하는 라인 (15) 은 상기 반응기 (2) 의 상부에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 촉매 중합 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는, 상기 재순환 라인 (6) 을 응축기 (19) 에 연결시키는 라인 (18) 을 포함하고, 응축기 (19) 는 반응기 (2) 에 가스 또는 액체를 공급하기 위해서 라인 (15) 을 통하여 반응기 (2) 에 연결되고, 가스를 재순환시키기 위해서 라인 (20) 을 통하여 라인 (6) 으로 되돌아가게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 촉매 중합 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는, 재순환 라인 (6) 을 응축기 (19) 에 연결시키는 라인 (18) 을 포함하고, 응축기 (19) 는 상기 반응기 (2) 에 가스 또는 액체를 공급하기 위해서 라인 (15) 을 통하여 반응기에 연결되는 분리 용기 (22) 에 연결되고, 가스를 재순환시키기 위해서 라인 (20) 을 통하여 라인 (6) 으로 되돌아가게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기상 중합반응용 장치.
