Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.無線システムにおいて、 A.データを含む低周波信号を発生し、ユーザ及びアースに容量結合されて 、低周波信号に関連した電流をユーザに送る送信器と、 B.ユーザ及びアースに容量結合されて、送信器によって発生された信号に 関連する電流をユーザから受け取り、伝送信号を再生して、データを回復する受 信器と、 を含む無線システム。 2.前記送信器は、 i.1対の電極と、 ii.電極間に接続されて、電極とユーザの間に関連する変位電流を生じるこ とになる低周波信号を発生する信号発生器と、 を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の無線システム。 3.前記受信器は、 i.1対の電極と、 ii.電極間に接続されて、電極とユーザの間に生じた変位電流から低周波信 号を再生する信号検出器と、 を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の無線通信システム。 4.a.複数の受信器と、 b.受信器が再生した信号からユーザの相対位置を決定するためのプロセッサ と、 を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の無線通信システム。 5.前記受信器は、コンピュータ・スクリーンの周囲に取り付けられ、また前 記プロセッサは、ユーザの相対位置に関連したスクリーン上の位置までカーソル を移動させることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の無線通信システム。 6.前記送信器は更に、所定の擬似ランダム・コードで信号のスペクトル拡散 変調を行うための信号変調器を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の無線通 信システム。 7.前記無線通信システムは更に、複数の送信器を含み、該送信器の各々は、 システム内の他の送信器に関連したコードとは異なる所定のコードに関連し、前 記受信器は、前記コードを利用して、複数の送信器における各送信器から受け渡 される信号間の弁別を行うことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の無線通信システ ム。 8.前記複数の送信器における各送信器は、異なるユーザと容量結合されるこ とを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の無線通信システム。 9.a.複数の受信器と、 b.受信器によって再生される信号からユーザの相対位置を決定するための プロセッサと、 を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の無線通信システム。 10.前記受信器は、コンピュータ・スクリーンの周囲に取り付けられ、また前 記プロセッサは、1人以上のユーザの相対位置に関連したスクリーン上の位置ま で1つ以上のオブジェクトを移動させることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の無 線通信システム。 11.A.オン・スクリーン・オブジェクトを表示するためのスクリーンと、 B.システムにデータを入力するためのキーボードと、 C.低周波信号を発生し、ユーザに容量結合されて、低周波信号に関連した 電流をユーザに送るための送信器と、 D.スクリーンの周囲に取り付けられ、それぞれ、ユーザとの容量結合を介 して、ユーザから、送信器によって発生された信号に関連する電流を受け取り、 ユーザの身体の最も近い四肢の相対位置を判定するための複数の受信器と、 E.スクリーン表示に制御を施し、スクリーンに命じて、受信器によって判 定されたユーザの四肢の位置に対応する位置にオブジェクトを表示させるプロセ ッサと、 を含むシステム。 12.前記送信器はキーボードに組み込まれていることを特徴とする、請求項1 1に記載のコンピュータ・システム。 13.さらに、キーボードに取り付けられた受信器が含み、該受信器は、受信し た信号の強度に基づいて、ユーザがカーソルの下に表示された情報を選択してい るか否かを判定し、前記システ ムは、キーボードに取り付けられた受信器によって受信された信号の強度が所定 のしきい値を超える場合、ユーザがその情報を選択しているものと判定すること を特徴とする、請求項11に記載のコンピュータ・システム。
