Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 1.弁手段と、 第1カム部材及び該第1カム部材とはプロフィールの異なる第2カム部材を有す る回転可能カムシャフトを含むカム手段と、前記弁手段と係合する第1カムフォ ロワ部材及び前記第1カムフォロワ部材と相対移動可能な第2カムフォロワ部材 を有し、前記カム手段から弁手段へ往復運動を伝達する手段と、 前記各フォロワ部材をリンクさせて共動させるロック手段と、を含み、 前記各フォロワ部材がリンクされていないときには弁手段が第1カムフォロワ部 材により制御されて第1カム部材のプロフィールと係合して追従し、各フォロワ 部材がリンクされた時には弁手段が第2カムフォロワ部材により制御されて第2 カム部材のプロフィールと係合し追従することを特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手 段。
- 2.請求項1に記載の弁制御手段において、ロック手段を機関の異なる速度及び 負荷の下で作動及び停止させるための駆動手段が設けられていることを特徴とす る内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 3.請求項1または2に記載の弁制御手段において、駆動手段は手動的または自 動的に作用することを特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 4.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、フォロワ手段は、より 高い機関速度のときにリンクされ、これによって機関の効率を向上させることを 特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 5.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、前記第2カムフォロワ 部材内で移動可能であり且つバネ手段によって非ロック位置に保持されるロック 素子を含むことを特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 6.請求項1−4の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、前記ロック手段は、前 記第2カムフォロワ部材内で移動可能であり、油圧によって非ロック位置に保持 されるロック素子を含むことを特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 7.請求項5または6に記載の弁制御手段において、前記ロック素子は、ロック 位置において前記第1カムフォロワ部材の補助面と協働する成形面を有すること を特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 8.請求項5−7の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、前記ロック素子は、油 圧手段によって非ロック位置からロック位置へ移動されることを特徴とする内燃 機関用弁制御手段。
- 9.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、前記第2カムフォロワ 部材はバネ手段によって第2カム部材と係合した状態に保持されていることを特 徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 10.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、前記第1カムフォロ ワ部材は、バネ手段によって前記第1カム部材へ付勢されていることを特徴とす る内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 11.請求項10に記載の弁制御手段において、前記バネ手段は、各カムフォロ ワ部材が共に動作するようにリンクされていないときに第1カム部材と係合する よう第1カムフォロワ部材を保持することを特徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 12.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、前記第2カムフォロ ワ部材は、更に、前記第1カムフォロワ部材と前記第1カム部材との間に配置さ れ両者を間接係合させる第3カムフォロワ部材を含むことを特徴とする内燃機関 用弁制御手段。
- 13.請求項12に記載の弁制御手段において、前記第3フォロワ部材は、バネ 手段により前記第1カム部材と係合するように保持されることを特徴とする内燃 機関用弁制御手段。
- 14.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、更に、前記弁と前記 第1カムフォロワ部材との間に配置きれた油圧ラッシュ調整素子を含むことを特 徴とする内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 15.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段において、更に、前記第2カム フォロワ部材は前記第1カムフォロワ部材と係合とリンクされた時に前記第1カ ムフォロワ部材と前記第1カム部材との間にはギャップが存在することを特徴と する内燃機関用弁制御手段。
- 16.各添付図面に示しまた該各図面を参照しつつ先に記述した弁制御手段。
- 17.上記各請求項の何れかに記載の弁制御手段を有する内燃機関。
