一例において、ワイヤ102は、直径約.001インチ(0.00254cm)~.010インチ(0.0254cm)のニチノールなどの形状記憶弾性材料によって構成される。
別の変更例において、事前に織り込まれたワイヤ102を単一の方向に沿ってテーパー状にし、共に織り込んでステント100を形成することができる。
本発明による別の好適な実施形態において、流れ方向転換層202は、固定ステント100中に織り込まれてもよい。
Claims (15)
- 第1の気孔率を有し、内部を通る空間を備えた概ね管状を形成する第1の織り込み層と;
前記第1の気孔率よりも低い第2の気孔率を有し、前記管状の形状の内の前記空間の内に配置される第2の織り込み層(202)と
を備え、
前記第1および第2の織り込み層は、形状記憶合金から構成されるワイヤ(102、202)から形成され、接続部材(814)は、両方の層を通して織り込まれる;
前記第1および第2の織り込み層は、実質的に同一のピッチを有し、実質的に前記層の間に隙間が無く;
前記第2の織り込み層(202)は、前記第1の織り込み層の内径と等しい直径を有するように編み込まれかつヒートセットされ;
前記第1の織り込み層は、所望の固定力を提供するためのより大型のワイヤブレイド固定ステントであり、前記第2の織り込み層は、血液を方向転換させるためのより小型のワイヤブレイド流れ方向転換層(202)である、装置。 - 前記第1の織り込み層および第2の織り込み層(202)は、実質的に同じ速度で拡張し、実質的に同一の量で縮小する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の織り込み層および前記第2の織り込み層(202)は、前記装置の近位端の近くおよび前記装置の遠位端で互いに取付けられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の織り込み層および前記第2の織り込み層(202)は、前記第1の織り込み層と前記第2の織り込み層(202)の間に螺旋パターンで織り込まれたサポートワイヤにより互いに取付けられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、2層ステント(200、200A、200B、200C)であり:
前記第1の織り込み層は、第1の径方向の力を有し、前記第1の織り込み層はそれを通る空間を備えた概ね管状を形成し;
前記第2の織り込み層(202)は、第2の径方向の力を有し、前記第2の織り込み層(202)は、前記管状の内の前記空間内に配置され;
前記2層ステント(200、200A,200B、200C)の前記径方向の力は前記第1の織り込み層の前記第1の径方向の力および前記第2の織り込み層(202)の前記第2の径方向の力の算術的な合計よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記2層ステント(200、200A、200B、200C)の前記径方向の力は、前記第1の織り込み層の前記第1の径方向の力および前記第2の織り込み層(202)の前記第2の径方向の力の算術的な合計よりも少なくとも30%大きい、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、体内で展開された場合に展開力を有する2層ステント(200、200A、200B、200C)であり、前記2層ステントが:
体内で展開された場合に、前記第1の織り込み層と独立した展開力および前記第1の気孔率よりも低い第2の気孔率を有し;
前記第1および前記第2の織り込み層を含む前記2層ステント(200、200A、200B、200C)の前記展開力は、前記第2の織り込み層(202)単独の展開力よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記展開力は、0.889から2.668Nである、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の織り込み層(202)は、1つまたは複数の位置で前記第1の織り込み層に連結される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- さらに前記接続部材は、前記装置の長さに沿った前記1つまたは複数の位置で前記第1の織り込み層および前記第2の織り込み層(202)に織り込まれたサポートワイヤ(814)を備える、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記サポートワイヤ(814)は、螺旋パターンで織り込まれる、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記サポートワイヤ(814)の近位端と、前記サポートワイヤ(814)の遠位端は、前記第1の織り込み層の位置の周りでそれぞれコイル化される、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記装置の長さに沿った前記1つまたは複数の位置は、前記装置の遠位端および前記装置の近位端を含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
- さらに、前記第1の織り込み層と前記第2の織り込み層(202)とを前記装置の前記長さに沿った前記1つまたは複数の位置で連結する螺旋状に織り込まれた第2のサポートワイヤおよび第3のサポートワイヤを備える、請求項10に記載の装置。
- さらに前記第1の織り込み層および前記第2の織り込み層(202)を連結するため前記装置の近位端および中間に織り込まれた第1のサポートワイヤ、および前記第1の織り込み層および前記第2の織り込み層(202)を連結するため前記装置の第1の端部の近くおよび中間に織り込まれた第2のサポートワイヤを備える、請求項9に記載の装置。
