Claims (20)
- 筺体と、
中に流体試料が入っている少なくとも1つのチャネルおよび1mm未満の横断面寸法を有する少なくとも1つのマイクロ流体チャネルを有するカセットを受入するよう構成された前記筺体内の開口部であって、前記筺体は、前記カセット上の嵌合コンポーネントとインターフェースをとり、前記筺体内の前記カセットを検出するよう構成されたコンポーネントを含む、開口部と、
前記筺体内に配置され、前記カセット内の前記少なくとも1つのチャネルを加圧して、前記少なくとも1つのチャネル中で前記試料を移動させるよう構成された、圧力制御システムであって、該圧力制御システムは真空源と通気バルブを含み、通気バルブは真空源の利用の間に真空源の上流に配置された前記カセットのポートを介する前記カセット内への空気のフローを制御するように適合された、圧力制御システムと、
前記筺体内に配置された光学システムであって、該光学システムは前記カセットの測定ゾーン内での信号パターンを所定時間にわたって連続的に判断するように構成されている、光学システムと、

前記筺体内の前記開口部内に挿入されるように構成されたカセットを設ける工程であって、該カセット若しくは該カセットのコンポーネントは少なくとも一つのチャネルを含む、工程と、
前記少なくとも一つのチャネル中で前記試料を移動させるために、前記筐体内に配置された圧力制御システムにより前記カセット内の前記少なくとも1つのチャネルを加圧する工程であって、該圧力制御システムは真空源と通気バルブを含み、通気バルブは真空源の利用の間に前記カセットのポートを介する前記カセット内への空気のフローを制御するように適合されたものである、工程と
前記筐体内に配置された光学システムを作動する工程と、
前記光学システムを用いて、前記カセットの測定ゾーン内での信号パターンを所定時間にわたって連続的に判断する工程と、
前記光学システムを用いた、前記カセットの測定ゾーン内での信号パターンを所定時間にわたって連続的に判断することに基づいて、前記筐体内に配置された制御システムを用いて通気バルブを作動する工程であって、前記制御システムは前記圧力制御システム及び前記光学システムと通信するものである、工程と
を含む、方法。 - 前記カセットに関連する情報を読み取るよう構成された識別読取器を備える、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記筺体内に配置され、前記カセットを加熱するよう構成された加熱器を含む温度調整システムを備える、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記筺体内に配置され、ユーザが前記試料分析器に情報を入力するよう構成されたユーザインターフェースを備える、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記測定ゾーンは第1の測定ゾーンであり、前記光学システムは一つ若しくはそれ以上の検出器を備え、前記光学システムは前記第1の測定ゾーンからと第2の測定ゾーンからの光を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記光学システムは一つ若しくはそれ以上の光センサを備え、前記光学システムは前記第1の測定ゾーンへ光を方向付けるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。

- 前記識別読取器は、前記カセットに付随する無線周波数識別タグを読み取るよう構成された無線周波数識別読取器である、請求項3に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記識別読取器は、前記カセットに付随するバーコードを読み取るよう構成されたバーコード読取器である、請求項3に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記温度調整システムは、前記カセットを冷却するよう構成された冷却器をさらに含む、請求項4に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
- 前記圧力制御システムは、前記カセット内の前記少なくとも1つのチャネルと前記真空源を結合するマニホールドと、前記マニホールド内の圧力を測定するよう構成された圧力センサとを含む、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体試料分析器。
