Abstract
Aparatos, sistemas, y metodos microfluidicos mejorados que permiten la transportacion selectiva de fluidos dentro de canales microfluidicos de una red microfluidica al aplicar, controlar y variar presiones en una pluralidad de reservas. Modelando la red microfluidica como una serie de nodos conectados juntos por segmentos de canal y determinando las caracteristicas de resistencia de flujo de los segmentos de canal que pueden permitir el calculo de los flujos de fluidos a traves de los segmentos de canal resultando de una configuracion de presion dada en las reservas. Para efectuar un flujo deseado dentro de un canal en particular o serie de canales, las presiones de reserva pueden ser identificadas utilizando el modelo de red. Viscometros u otros sensores de flujo pueden medir las caracteristicas del flujo dentro de los canales, y las caracteristicas de flujo medidas pueden ser utilizadas para calcular presiones para generar un flujo deseado. El modulador de presion multi-reserva y el sistema de control de presion pueden ser usados en conjuncion opcionalmente con mecanismos de transporte electrocineticos o hidrodinamicos.
