Claims (17)
- 1つ以上の核酸配列を含む標本内の標的ヌクレオチド配列の存在、不存在及び/又は量の検出用のカートリッジであって、
汎用用途に使用可能な標準部分と、
特定の一用途に使用されるように個別に構成され、該標準部分に接続可能な1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分と、を有し、
前記標準部分には、汎用用途に使用される、流体チャネルおよび1つ以上のチャンバーが設けられており、
前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分はそれぞれ、前記流体チャネルを介して前記汎用チャンバーと接続可能なように、前記標準部分に取り付けられ、
前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分の1つは、標本のPCRのための1つ以上の熱サイクルチャンバーを有し且つ1つ以上のプライマーを有するPCRボディである、
ことを特徴とするカートリッジ。 - 前記1つ以上の熱サイクルチャンバーの各々内に、少なくとも1つのプライマーが配置される、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記多数のプライマーの少なくとも1つはPCRボディに染み付けられる、請求項1又は2に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記PCRボディは円盤状である、請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分の1つは検出装置である、請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記検出装置は前記PCRボディの前記プライマーに基づいて選択される、請求項5に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分の1つは、標本を特定の状態へと前処理するように構成された標本導入装置である、請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記標本導入装置は標本を特定状態へと前処理するように構成された予備溶解装置である、請求項7に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分の少なくとも1つははめ込み型接続を用いて本体に接続可能である、請求項1乃至8の何れかに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記標準部分及び前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分内で前記標本又はその一部を保持する各空間は気密性を有する、請求項1乃至9の何れかに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分の少なくとも1つは識別装置を備えている、請求項1乃至10の何れかに記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分及び前記標準部分の各々は識別装置を備えている、請求項10に記載のカートリッジ。
- 1つ以上の核酸配列を含む標本内の標的ヌクレオチド配列の存在、不存在及び/又は量の検出用のシステムであって、当該システムは再使用可能な装置を有し、該装置は、請求項1乃至12の何れかに記載のカートリッジを受け入れ、該カートリッジ内にある前記標本内の前記標的ヌクレオチド配列の存在、不存在及び/又は量の検出処理を制御するように構成されている、システム。
- 前記流体チャネル中の流体は、チャンバー内の空間を増減させるように柔軟膜を移動させることによって、前記チャンバーに送り込まれ、又は、前記チャンバーから送り出される、請求項1乃至12の何れか1項記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記柔軟膜の移動は弁座を開閉するために用いられる、請求項14記載のカートリッジ。
- カートリッジ中の1つ以上の核酸配列を含む標本内の標的ヌクレオチド配列の存在、不存在及び/又は量を検出する方法であって:
生命体から前記標本を準備する工程;
前記標本から前記核酸配列を分離する工程;
前記核酸配列又はその一部を増幅し、それにより単位複製配列を提供する工程;及び
前記標本内の前記核酸配列の中の前記標的ヌクレオチド配列に対応する単位複製配列の存在、不存在及び/又は量を検出する工程;
を有し、
前記カートリッジは、
汎用用途に使用可能な標準部分と、
特定の一用途に使用されるように個別に構成され、該標準部分に接続可能な1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分と、を有し、
前記標準部分には、汎用用途に使用される、流体チャネルおよび1つ以上のチャンバーが設けられており、
前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分はそれぞれ、前記流体チャネルを介して前記汎用チャンバーと接続可能なように、前記標準部分に取り付けられ、
前記1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分の1つは、標本のPCRのための1つ以上の熱サイクルチャンバーを有し且つ1つ以上のプライマーを有するPCRボディである、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 1つ以上のアプリケーション特有部分を選択し、該アプリケーション特有部分を前記カートリッジの前記標準部分に取り付ける工程、を更に有する請求項16に記載の方法。
