Description
本開示の方法は、先行技術の繊維で見られない特性を有する製品をもたらす。したがって、本開示の方法は、先行技術の製品より優れた製品を生産するのに使用することができる。さらに、本発明の繊維は、費用効果的に生産され得る。
本開示は、セルロース繊維を生産するための新規方法を提供する。本方法は、セルロースを、クラフトパルプ化ステップ、酸素脱リグニンステップ、漂白シーケンス、およびカルボキシル化酸処理に付すことを含む。同様のパルプ化および漂白プロセスは、その全体が参照により組み込まれている、公開された国際出願第WO2010/138941号および同第WO/2012/170183号に開示されている。本願に記載の条件下で生産される繊維は、公開された国際出願第WO2010/138941号に記載の繊維に対して増強されたカルボキシル含量を有する一方、同じ高白色度および高輝度を呈する。
本発明の実施形態において、例えば以下の項目が提供される。

III.クラフト繊維製製品
本開示は、本明細書に記載の酸化酸処理クラフト繊維製の製品を提供する。一部の実施形態では、製品は、標準的なクラフト繊維から典型的には作製されるものである。他の実施形態では、製品は、コットンリンター、前加水分解クラフト(pre−hydrolsis kraft)、または亜硫酸パルプから典型的には作製されるものである。より具体的には、本発明の繊維は、吸収性製品の生産において、かつ化学的誘導体、例えば、エーテルおよびエステルなどの調製における出発材料としてさらに改質することなく使用することができる。
本開示の酸化酸処理クラフト繊維は、一部の場合では、例えば、セルロースエーテル、酢酸セルロース、ビスコース、および微結晶性セルロースの製造においてコットンリンターまたは亜硫酸パルプの代用品として使用され得る。

を含む、方法。 - クラフトパルプ化および酸素脱リグニン後の前記繊維のカッパ数が、約13〜約21、または約5〜約8である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記過酸化物が過酸化水素である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化のpHが、約2〜約6の範囲である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、硫酸第一鉄、塩化第一鉄、硫酸アンモニウム第一鉄、塩化第二鉄、硫酸アンモニウム第二鉄、またはクエン酸アンモニウム第二鉄のうちの少なくとも1種から選択される鉄触媒である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒が、前記クラフトパルプの乾燥重量に基づいて約25〜約150ppmの鉄の範囲の量で添加される鉄触媒である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記多段階漂白プロセスが、5段階漂白プロセスである、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記多段階漂白プロセスが、D0(OX)D1(OX)(C/A)、D0(OX)(C/A)E2D2、D0(OX)(C/A)(E/P)D2、D0(OX)(C/A)(OX)D2、D0E1D1(OX)(C/A)、D0(EoP)D1(OX)(C/A)、D0(OX)(C/A)(OX)(C/A)から選択されるシーケンスを含む5段階漂白プロセスであり、ここで、C/Aは、カルボキシル化酸処理を指し、OXは、触媒酸化を指す、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記多段階漂白プロセスが、D0(OX)(C/A)(OX)(C/A)のシーケンスを含む5段階漂白プロセスであり、ここで、C/Aは、カルボキシル化酸処理を指し、OXは、触媒酸化を指す、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記多段階漂白プロセスが、D0(EoP)D1(OX)(C/A)のシーケンスを含む5段階漂白プロセスであり、ここで、C/Aは、カルボキシル化酸処理を指し、OXは、触媒酸化を指す、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記多段階漂白プロセスが、D0(OX)(C/A)(OX)D2のシーケンスを含む5段階漂白プロセスであり、ここで、C/Aは、カルボキシル化酸処理を指し、OXは、触媒酸化を指す、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化が、前記多段階漂白プロセスの1つまたは複数の段階で実施される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化が、漂白の第2の段階で実施される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化が、漂白の第4の段階で実施される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記カルボキシル化酸処理が、多段階漂白シーケンスの1つまたは複数の段階で実施される、請求項17に記載の方法。

- 前記多段階漂白プロセスが、D0E1D1E2D2のシーケンスを含む5段階漂白プロセスであり、ここで、E1またはE2段階のうちの一つまたは複数が触媒酸化処理を含み、そしてD0、D1またはD2段階のうちの一つまたは複数がカルボキシル化酸処理を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
