Description
Claims (12)
- 所定数のチャネルを備えているベース部と、
前記ベース部から延びる所定数の可撓性部材であって、前記ベース部の所定数のチャネルの少なくとも一つに接続した流体チャネルを前記所定数の可撓性部材における各々の可撓性部材が備えることにより、前記所定数のチャネルを介して流れる流体の当該流体チャネルからの流出を可能にする、可撓性部材と、
複数の剛毛を含む塗布要素であって、前記所定数の可撓性部材と同じ側で、前記ベース部から延び、前記所定数の可撓性部材から流出する流体を、第一表面および第二表面を含む所定数の表面上に塗布するように構成した塗布要素と、を含み、
前記複数の剛毛が、
前記ベース部から第一位置まで延びる第一組の剛毛と、
前記第一組の剛毛の長さとは異なる長さを有し、前記ベース部から第二位置まで延びる第二組の剛毛と、を含み、
前記ベース部は、カバー部を更に含み、前記カバー部は、前記塗布要素によって塗布される流体が、意図しない表面上にスプレイされる可能性を低減するように構成されており、
前記第一組の剛毛が、前記第一表面に前記流体を塗布すると同時に、前記第二組の剛毛が、前記第二表面に前記流体を塗布するように構成されており、
前記第一位置および前記第二位置は、前記第一組の剛毛のいずれかの延びる方向において、互い異なる位置であり、
前記第一表面および前記第二表面は、前記延びる方向において、互いに異なる位置に位置する部位を有する、装置。 - 所定数のチャネルを備えているベース部と、
前記ベース部から延びる所定数の可撓性部材であって、前記ベース部の所定数のチャネルの少なくとも一つに接続した流体チャネルを備えることにより、前記所定数のチャネルを介して流れる流体の当該流体チャネルからの流出を可能にする、可撓性部材と、
複数の剛毛を含む塗布要素であって、前記所定数の可撓性部材と同じ側で、前記ベース部から延び、前記所定数の可撓性部材から流出する流体を、第一表面および第二表面を含む所定数の表面上に塗布するように構成した塗布要素と、を含み、
前記複数の剛毛が、
前記ベース部から第一位置まで延びる第一組の剛毛と、
前記第一組の剛毛の長さとは異なる長さを有し、前記ベース部から第二位置まで延びる第二組の剛毛と、を含み、
前記第一組の剛毛が、前記第一表面に前記流体を塗布すると同時に、前記第二組の剛毛が、前記第二表面に前記流体を塗布するように構成されており、
前記第一位置および前記第二位置は、前記第一組の剛毛のいずれかの延びる方向において、互い異なる位置であり、
前記第一表面および前記第二表面は、前記延びる方向において、互いに異なる位置に位置する部位を有する、装置。 - 前記複数の剛毛の少なくとも一本は、前記複数の剛毛の他の剛毛とは異なる角度で、前記ベース部に対して傾斜している、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記複数の剛毛は、
前記所定数の表面の第一表面上に、流体を塗布するように構成した第一組の剛毛と、
前記所定数の表面の第二表面上に、前記流体を塗布するように構成した第二組の剛毛と、
前記所定数の表面の第三表面上に、前記流体を塗布するように構成した第三組の剛毛と、を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の装置。 - 前記ベース部に関連付けられ、前記ベース部の前記塗布要素と反対側で、前記ベース部の前記所定数のチャネルを吐出部材の出口に接続するように構成したチャネルを備えているコネクタを更に含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記所定数の可撓性部材の各可撓性部材が、前記塗布要素を超えて延びていない端部を備えている、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記流体が、所定の閾値より大きな粘度を備えているシール材料であり、前記所定の閾値が、約500センチポイズである、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 第一表面および第二表面を含む所定数の表面上に流体を塗布する方法であって、
ベース部から延びる所定数の可撓性部材の所定数の流体チャネル内に前記流体を受容することと、
前記所定数の流体チャネルから外に流体を移動させることと、
複数の剛毛を含む塗布要素であって、前記所定数の可撓性部材と同じ側で、前記ベース部から延びる塗布要素を用いて、前記所定数の表面上に流体を塗布することと、を含み、
前記複数の剛毛が、
前記ベース部から第一位置まで延びる第一組の剛毛と、
前記第一組の剛毛の長さとは異なる長さを有し、前記ベース部から第二位置まで延びる第二組の剛毛と、を含み、
前記ベース部は、カバー部を更に含み、前記カバー部は、前記塗布要素によって塗布される流体が、意図しない表面上にスプレイされる可能性を低減するように構成されており、
前記塗布することにおいては、前記第一組の剛毛が、前記第一表面に前記流体を塗布すると同時に、前記第二組の剛毛が、前記第二表面に前記流体を塗布し、
前記第一位置および前記第二位置は、前記第一組の剛毛のいずれかの延びる方向において、互い異なる位置であり、
前記第一表面および前記第二表面は、前記延びる方向において、互いに異なる位置に位置する部位を有する、方法。 - 前記複数の剛毛を用いて前記所定数の表面上に前記流体を塗布することが、
前記複数の剛毛の端部を用いて、前記所定数の表面上に流体を塗布すること、を含んでいる、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記塗布要素を用いて前記所定数の表面上に前記流体を塗布することが、
前記複数の剛毛の第一組の剛毛を用いて前記所定数の表面の第一表面上に流体を塗布することと、
前記複数の剛毛の第二組の剛毛を用いて前記所定数の表面の第二表面上に流体を塗布することと、
前記複数の剛毛の第三組の剛毛を用いて前記所定数の表面の第三表面上に流体を塗布することと、を含む、請求項8又は請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記ベース部に関連付けられたコネクタのチャネル内に、吐出部材の出口から前記流体を受容すること、を更に含む、請求項8〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の装置と、
前記装置が取り付けられたロボットエンドエフェクタと、を備え、
前記ベース部および前記塗布要素は、前記ロボットエンドエフェクタに対し回転可能となっている、構造。
