Description

Claims (15)
- 電子装置であって、
プリント回路基板と、
少なくとも1つの導電性構造体を使用して前記プリント回路基板に連結されたディスプレイ層であって、前記導電性構造体は、前記ディスプレイ層内の少なくとも1つの開口部を通過し、前記ディスプレイ層は、異なる複数の色の表示ピクセルを制御する回路が上側表面に形成された薄膜トランジスタ層基板を含む薄膜トランジスタ層を備え、前記少なくとも1つの開口部は、前記薄膜トランジスタ層基板内に形成されている、前記ディスプレイ層と、
前記プリント回路基板と前記薄膜トランジスタ層との間に挟まれたバックライト層と、 を備える、電子装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの導電性構造体は、少なくとも1つのワイヤボンドを含む、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのワイヤボンドが、前記薄膜トランジスタ層の上のボンドパッドに電気的に接続された第1の端部、及び前記プリント回路基板上のボンドパッドに電気的に接続された第2の端部を有する、請求項2に記載の電子装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層内の前記少なくとも1つの開口部を塞ぎ、前記少なくとも1つのワイヤボンドを封入するポッティング材料を更に備える、請求項2に記載の電子装置。
- 前記電子装置が前記薄膜トランジスタ層と前記プリント回路基板との間に挟まれた接着剤の層を更に備え、前記接着剤の層は前記プリント回路基板を前記薄膜トランジスタ層に取り付けるように構成されている、請求項2に記載の電子装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層は、前記上側表面と対向する下側表面を有し、前記薄膜トランジスタ層は前記上側表面上に薄膜トランジスタのアレイを備え、前記少なくとも1つのワイヤボンドが、前記薄膜トランジスタ層の前記上側表面上のボンドパッドに電気的に接続された第1の端部を有し、かつ前記プリント回路基板上のボンドパッドに電気的に接続された第2の端部を有し、前記接着剤の層が前記プリント回路基板を前記薄膜トランジスタ層の前記下側表面に取り付ける、請求項5に記載の電子装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層が液晶ディスプレイの一部を形成し、前記液晶ディスプレイがカラーフィルタ層を備え、前記液晶ディスプレイが前記カラーフィルタ層と前記薄膜トランジスタ層との間に挟まれた液晶材料の層を備える、請求項6に記載の電子装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層が、ポリマーからなる少なくとも1枚のシートを含むフレキシブル基板を備える、請求項2に記載の電子装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層が、金属箔を含むフレキシブル基板を備える、請求項2に記載の電子装置。
- 前記プリント回路基板が、フレキシブルプリント配線基板を備える、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 活性エリア及び非活性エリアを有するディスプレイを有する電子装置であって、
対向する第1及び第2の表面を有し、前記ディスプレイの前記活性エリア内の前記第1の表面上に回路を有し、前記第1の表面から前記第2の表面まで通じる少なくとも1つの開口部を有するディスプレイ層であって、前記第1の表面上の前記回路は、異なる複数の色の表示ピクセルを制御するものであり、前記ディスプレイ層は、前記ディスプレイの前記非活性エリア内の前記第1の表面上に第1のコンタクトパッドを備える、前記ディスプレイ層と、
第2のコンタクトパッドを備えるプリント回路基板であって、前記第2の表面が前記第1の表面と前記プリント回路基板との間に挟まれ、前記開口部を塞ぐ導電材料を使用して前記第1の表面上の前記回路が前記プリント回路基板に連結されており、前記第2のコンタクトパッドは、前記導電材料と、前記導電材料上に形成された第3のコンタクトパッドとの間に挟まれている、前記プリント回路基板と、
前記第1のコンタクトパッドを前記第3のコンタクトパッドに接続する可撓性導電構造体であって、前記第1の表面上の前記回路が、前記第1のコンタクトパッド及び前記可撓性導電構造体を介して前記第3のコンタクトパッドに信号を供給し、前記第3のコンタクトパッドに信号が、前記導電材料を介して前記第2のコンタクトパッドに前記信号を供給する、前記可撓性導電構造体と、
を備える、電子装置。 - 前記ディスプレイ層は、薄膜トランジスタ層基板を含む薄膜トランジスタ層を備え、前記少なくとも1つの開口部が前記薄膜トランジスタ層基板内に形成されている、請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 前記可撓性導電構造体は、前記回路と前記導電材料との間に電気的に連結されている少なくとも1つのワイヤボンドを備える、請求項12に記載の電子装置。
- 前記可撓性導電構造体は、前記回路と前記導電材料との間に電気的に連結されているフレキシブル回路を備える、請求項12に記載の電子装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層が液晶ディスプレイの一部を形成し、前記液晶ディスプレイがカラーフィルタ層を備え、前記液晶ディスプレイが前記カラーフィルタ層と前記薄膜トランジスタ層との間に挟まれた液晶材料の層を備える、請求項12に記載の電子装置。
