第2方向に延出し前記第1画素電極及び第4画素電極と対向する第1カラーフィルタと、前記第1カラーフィルタの第1方向に隣接し前記第2方向に延出し前記第2画素電極及び前記第5画素電極と対向する第2カラーフィルタと、前記第2カラーフィルタの第1方向に隣接し前記第3画素電極と対向する第3カラーフィルタと、前記第3カラーフィルタの第2方向に隣接し前記第6画素電極と対向する第4カラーフィルタと、を備えた第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に保持された液晶層と、を備え、
前記第1画素電極、前記第2画素電極、前記第4画素電極、及び、前記第5画素電極は、第2方向に沿って第1長辺長を有し、
前記第3画素電極は、第2方向に沿って第1長辺長より長い第2長辺長を有し、
前記第6画素電極は、第2方向に沿って第1長辺長より短い第3長辺長を有し、
前記第1画素電極の一対の第1端部及び前記第2画素電極の一対の第2端部は、それぞれ第1方向に平行な同一直線上に位置し、
前記第3画素電極の一対の第3端部は、前記一対の第1端部及び前記一対の第2端部よりも外側に位置し、
前記第4画素電極の一対の第4端部及び前記第5画素電極の一対の第5端部は、それぞれ第1方向に平行な同一直線上に延出し、
前記第6画素電極の一対の第6端部は、前記一対の第4端部及び前記一対の第5端部よりも内側に位置している、表示装置。 - 前記第1画素電極、前記第2画素電極、前記第4画素電極、及び、前記第5画素電極は、第1方向に沿って第1短辺長を有し、
前記第3画素電極及び前記第6画素電極は、第1方向に沿って第1短辺長より長い第2短辺長を有する、請求項5に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第3カラーフィルタは青色カラーフィルタであり、前記第4カラーフィルタは白色カラーフィルタである、請求項5又は6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1基板は、さらに、第1共通電極と、前記第1共通電極を覆う層間絶縁膜と、を備え、
前記第1乃至第6画素電極は前記層間絶縁膜上で第1共通電極と対向する、請求項5乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第2基板は、さらに、前記第1共通電極と同電位の第2共通電極を備えた、請求項8に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2共通電極には、前記第1乃至第6画素電極と対向する位置にスリットが形成された、請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2基板は、さらに、前記第1乃至第4カラーフィルタをそれぞれ区画する遮光層を備え、
前記遮光層は、前記第3画素電極と前記第6画素電極との間に重畳し、
前記第1画素電極と前記第4画素電極との間、及び、前記第2画素電極と前記第5画素電極との間には前記遮光層が重畳していない、請求項5乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - さらに、第1方向に延出し前記第1乃至第3色画素の中央部を横切る第1ゲート線と、第1方向に延出し前記第4乃至第6色画素の中央部を横切る第2ゲート線と、を備えた、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
