Description
Claims (24)
- ユーザの頭に着用するように構成されたフレームであって、該フレームは、前記ユーザの鼻で支えるように構成されたブリッジと、該ブリッジと結合し該ブリッジから該ブリッジから離れた第1の端部にまで延び、前記ユーザの眉の第1の側部に配置するように構成された胴体を含む眉部と、該眉部の第1の端部と結合し自由端に延びている第1の端部を有する第1のアームと、を含み、前記胴体は該胴体の少なくとも一部分に沿うフランジを含み、前記眉部の前記第1の端部は前記フランジと実質的に垂直な第1の壁を有し、前記フランジ及び前記第1の壁は相まって受光部を画定し、前記第1のアームは前記自由端が前記ユーザの第1の耳の近くに位置するように前記ユーザの第1のテンプルに重ねて配置されるよう構成され、前記ブリッジは、前記ユーザの目に対して眉部の相対的位置を選択的に定めるために、調整可能となっていることを特徴とする、フレームと、
概ね透明なディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイが第1の眉部と平行に延びる第1の軸の周りに回転することで前記フレームに対して相対的に動かすことができるような状態で、前記ディスプレイを前記フレームに取り付ける手段であって、前記ディスプレイは前記眉部の前記受光部に隣接している、前記ディスプレイを前記フレームに取り付ける手段と、
前記フレームに取り付けられ、前記ユーザから動作についての入力を受信するよう構成された入力装置であって、動作に関する情報はディスプレイに表示することができることを特徴とする入力装置と、
を具備する電子装置。 - 前記ブリッジは、前記ユーザの鼻の両側部の接触するよう構成された1対の突起部を含み、前記ブリッジは、該突起部をお互いに近付く方向や離れる方向に動かすことにより調整可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記取り付ける手段は、前記第1の軸が前記ディスプレイの縦軸であり、前記第1の軸が前記眉部の縦軸から固定距離だけ離れて位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記眉部の相対的位置を選択的に定めることには、前記ユーザの目を覆う前記ディスプレイを前記ユーザ眉に近付けたり遠ざけたりする第1の方向に位置を定めることであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、平面的な画面を含み、前記ディスプレイの前記第1の軸の周りに回転することは、前記画面から前記ユーザの目の焦点中心までの線に対して垂直に、前記第1の方向に調整できる範囲内で、前記画面を位置合わせできるように行うことであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記取り付ける手段はさらに、前記ディスプレイが前記フレームに対して前記第1の軸に沿って相対的に平行に動かすことができるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記取り付ける手段は、前記第1のアームの近くの前記第1の眉部に固定された取り付け部を含み、該取り付け部は、前記第1の軸を画定する支柱を含む、前記ディスプレイは、前記フレームに前記ディスプレイを回転可能なように保持するための支柱を受け入れるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ディスプレイは、前記支柱にそって平行に動かすことができるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記概ね透明なディスプレイは、前記プリズムの側部に対してゼロではない角度となっている該プリズムの表面で見ることのできるように、該プリズムの側部に投影した画像を作り出すよう構成された、透明な材料のプリズムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記投影した画像は、前記プリズムを通して見ることのできる外部画像と共に前記装置の着用者により見ることができることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の装置。
- ユーザの頭に着用するように構成されたフレームであって、該フレームは、前記ユーザの鼻で支えるように構成されたブリッジと、該ブリッジと結合し該ブリッジから該ブリッジから離れた第1の端部にまで延び、前記ユーザの眉の第1の側部に配置するように構成された胴体を含む眉部と、該眉部の第1の端部と結合し自由端に延びている第1の端部を有する第1のアームと、を含み、前記胴体は該胴体の少なくとも一部分に沿うフランジを含み、前記眉部の前記第1の端部は前記フランジと実質的に垂直な第1の壁を有し、前記フランジ及び前記第1の壁は相まって受光部を画定し、該第1のアームは前記自由端が前記ユーザの第1の耳の近くに位置するように前記ユーザの第1のテンプルに重ねて配置されるよう構成されていることを特徴とするフレームと、
前記フレームに取り付けられ、該フレームの前記眉部に隣接する概ね透明なディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイが第1の眉部と平行に延びる第1の軸の周りに回転することで前記フレームに対して相対的に動かすことができるような状態で、前記ディスプレイを前記フレームに取り付ける手段であって、前記ディスプレイは前記眉部の前記受光部に隣接している、前記ディスプレイを前記フレームに取り付ける手段と、
前記フレームに取り付けられ、前記ユーザから動作についての入力を受信するよう構成された入力装置であって、該動作に関する情報はディスプレイに表示することができることを特徴とする入力装置と、
前記第1のアームの自由端に固定した電子装置の制御回路を有し、前記アームから離れる方向に突き出た部分を含み、少なくとも前記ユーザの耳の一部の周囲に延びるよう構成されたエレクトロニクスハウジングと、
を具備する電子装置。 - 前記ディスプレイ及び前記入力装置は、前記ユーザの耳の前記第1の側部に第1のウェイトとして力を集中させ、前記エレクトロニクスハウジングは、前記耳の第2の側部に力を集中させ、前記第1のウェイトによる力に対するバランシングウェイトとして力が加わるよう配置されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクスハウジングはさらに、前記第1のウェイト及び前記バランシングウェイトによる力が、前記ユーザの鼻と前記ユーザの第1の耳とに配分された装置の全重量に寄与し、該全重量の大部分が前記第1の耳に加わるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の電子装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクスハウジングはさらに、前記第1の耳の第2の側部で前記ユーザの頭の一部に接触するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 前記ディスプレイに隣接してフレームに取り付けられ、前記第1のアームの反対方向に向けてあり、前記眉部と概ね垂直になっているカメラをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ、前記カメラ、及び前記入力装置は、前記ユーザの耳の前記第1の側部に第1のウェイトとして力を集中させ、前記エレクトロニクスハウジングは、前記耳の第2の側部に力を集中させ、前記第1のウェイトによる力に対するバランシングウェイトとして力が加わるよう配置されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 少なくとも1つの追加の部品であって、それぞれウェイトを有し、前記装置の全重量を前記ユーザの鼻と前記ユーザの第1の耳とに配分し、該全重量の大部分が前記第1の耳に加わるように、前記エレクトロニクスハウジングと前記フレームとのうちの1つに取り付けられていることを特徴とする追加の部品をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の電子装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクスハウジングは、前記装置に電力を供給するためにバッテリーを封入するよう構成され、該エレクトロニクスハウジングは、前記フレームの一部に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 前記フレームの眉部はさらに、前記ブリッジから離れて前記第1の端部の反対側の第2の端部に延び、前記ユーザの眉の第2の側部に重ねて配置するよう構成され、前記フレームはさらに、前記眉部の前記第2の端部と結合する第1の端部を有し、自由端に延びている第2のアームを含み、該第2のアームは、前記ユーザの第2の耳の近くに位置する自由端をもつ、ユーザの第2のテンプルに重ねて配置するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクスハウジングは、前記第1のアームの自由端に回転可能に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項請求項11に記載の電子装置。
- ユーザの頭に着用するよう構成されたフレームであって、該フレームは、
前記ユーザの鼻で支えるように構成されたブリッジと、
前記ブリッジと結合し該ブリッジから延びて該ブリッジから離れた第1の端部にまで延びた胴体を有する眉部であって、該胴体は、該胴体の少なくとも一部に沿うフランジを含み、前記第1の端部は、該フランジと実質的に垂直な第1の壁とを含み、このフランジと第1の壁とが相まって受光部を画定し、前記眉部は、前記ユーザの眉の第1の側部に重ねて配置するように構成されることを特徴とする眉部と、
前記眉部の第1の端部と結合し自由端へと延びている第1の端部を有する第1のアームであって、該第1のアームは、前記自由端が前記ユーザの第1の耳の近くに位置するように前記ユーザの第1のテンプルに重ねて配置されるよう構成されていることを特徴とする第1のアームと、
を有することを特徴とするフレームと、
ディスプレイハウジングと概ね透明なディスプレイエレメントとを含むディスプレイユニットであって、該ディスプレイユニットは、第1の眉部と平行に延びる第1の軸の周りに回転することで前記フレームに対して相対的に動かすことができるような状態で、前記眉部の前記受光部内に取り付けられることを特徴とするディスプレイユニットと、
フレームに取り付けられ前記ユーザから動作についての入力を受信するよう構成された入力装置であって、該動作に関する情報はディスプレイエレメントに表示可能となっていることを特徴とする入力装置と、
を具備する電子装置。 - 前記眉部はさらに、前記第1の壁と垂直に、そして前記フランジと平行に突き出た第3の壁であって、該第3の壁はさらに受光部を画定することを特徴とする第3の壁を具備することを特徴とする請求項21に記載の電子装置。
- 前記入力は、前記第1のアームに取り付けられ、前記第1の壁と同一平面をなし、タッチセンス面を有するタッチ入力でありことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の電子装置。
- 前記タッチセンス面は、少なくとも該タッチセンス面の一部に沿ってざらつきを含むことを特徴とする特徴とする請求項23に記載の電子装置。
