Claims (5)
- 複数の吐出孔、該複数の吐出孔が開口している吐出孔面、複数の加圧室、および前記複数の吐出孔と前記複数の加圧室とをそれぞれ繋いでいる複数の流路を備えている流路部材と、前記加圧室内の液体を加圧する加圧部とを備えている液体吐出ヘッドであって、
複数の前記吐出孔は、前記吐出孔が、等間隔で配置されている方向である一方方向に連なっている複数の吐出孔行を構成しており、
前記流路は、前記吐出孔面に最も近い、前記吐出孔面と略平行な面を境界にして断面が狭くなっているノズル部と、該ノズル部を除いた部分流路とを含んでおり、
該部分流路は、前記部分流路の前記吐出孔面と平行な平均径をW[μm]、前記部分流路の前記ノズル部側における前記吐出孔面と平行な断面の面積重心をC1、前記部分流路の前記ノズル部側から前記吐出孔面に直交する方向に2W[μm]の位置における前記吐出孔面に平行な断面の面積重心をC2、前記部分流路の前記加圧室側における前記吐出孔面と平行な断面の面積重心をC3、C1とC3とを結んだ直線と、前記ノズル部側から前記吐出孔面に直交する方向に2W[μm]の位置における前記吐出孔面と平行な平面との交点をCmとするとき、
前記吐出孔面に平行な方向におけるCmとC1との距離が0.1W[μm]より大きく、かつC2とC1との距離が0.1W[μm]以下であり、
複数の前記部分流路の中には、前記吐出孔の開口の面積重心であるCnとC3とを繋ぐ直線と、前記一方方向に直交する方向との成す角度θが異なるものが存在し、
前記部分流路には、角度θが前記一方方向に直交する方向に対して片側に45度以上傾いている第1部分流路、および角度θが前記一方方向に直交する方向に対して、前記第1部分流路とは反対側に45度以上傾いている第2部分流路が存在することを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記流路部材を平面視したとき、複数の前記加圧室の平面形状の面積重心が格子状に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記吐出孔面に平行な方向におけるC3とC1との距離が2W[μm]以上である前記部分流路が存在することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記部分流路の、前記ノズル部側から前記吐出孔面に直交する方向に2W[μm]の位置までの間に狭窄部を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッドと、記録媒体を前記液体吐出ヘッドに対して搬送する搬送部と、前記液体吐出ヘッドの駆動を制御する制御部とを備えていることを特徴とする記録装置。
