Description

Claims (6)
- ホウ化チタン粒子(24、25)を含有するチタン基マトリックス(22)を含むマイクロスケール複合材料(21)を含む物品(20)であって、前記マイクロスケール複合材料(21)が、非複合体で非ホウ化物の金属合金の塊(44)中にインサートとして配置されており、前記ホウ化チタン粒子(24、25)の少なくとも50体積%が1μm未満の最大寸法を有し、前記マイクロスケール複合材料(21)が0.05〜17重量%のホウ素を含有しており、前記マトリックス(22)が多結晶であって、前記ホウ化チタン粒子(24、25)が粒内ホウ化チタン粒子(24)を含んでおり、前記粒内ホウ化チタン粒子(24)が、各結晶粒(30)内で前記マトリックス(22)に対して結晶学的に優先的に配向される、物品(20)。
- 前記マトリックス(22)が粒径10μm未満の多結晶である、請求項1記載の物品(20)。
- 前記マトリックス(22)が多結晶であって、前記ホウ化チタン粒子(24、25)が粒内ホウ化チタン粒子(24)を含んでおり、各結晶粒(30)内の前記粒内ホウ化チタン粒子(24)が、前記結晶粒(30)のマトリックス(22)と整合又は部分的に整合する、請求項1記載の物品(20)。
- 前記ホウ化チタン粒子(24、25)がプレート状の形態である、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の物品(20)。
- 前記マイクロスケール複合材料(21)が酸化物粒子(26)の分散物をさらに含む、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の物品(20)。
- 前記塊(44)が、ガスタービンブレード(44)の翼形部(42)の残部をなす非複合体金属合金材料である、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の物品(20)。
