Description
前記熱転写性保護層が、複数の層から形成されており、前記基材シート側から、少なくとも、第一熱転写性保護層、第二熱転写性保護層を順次積層し、前記第一熱転写性保護層が、分子量が400以上のベンゾトリアゾール系の紫外線吸収剤を含み、且つ前記ベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤は、樹脂100重量部に対し、1〜20重量部添加され、前記第二熱転写性保護層が、トリアジン系の紫外線吸収剤を含み、且つ前記トリアジン系の紫外線吸収剤は、樹脂100重量部に対し、2〜30重量部添加される
ことを特徴とする熱転写シートである。
<基材シートへの耐熱滑性層の形成>
基材シートとして厚さ4.5μmの易接着層付きポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(三菱化学:ダイヤホイル)を用いた。これに耐熱滑性層としてポリビニルアセタール樹脂を25重量部(電気化学工業:デンカブチラール)、イソシアネート硬化剤を1.1重量部(三井化学:タケネート)、滑剤を1重量部(第一工業製薬:プライサーフ)をメチルエチルケトン36重量部、トルエン36重量部からなる混合溶剤に溶解させ塗液を作製した。作製した塗液を基材シートの非易接着層側の面にダイレクトグラビアコートにより乾燥後の膜厚が1.0μmになるように塗工し、耐熱滑性層を形成した。
転写性インク層(イエロー):C.I.ソルベントイエロー93を3.0重量部、C.I.ソルベントイエロー16を1.0重量部、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂(電気化学工業:デンカブチラール)5.0重量部をメチルエチルケトン45重量部、トルエン45重量部からなる混合溶剤に溶解させて転写性インク層(イエロー)の塗液を作製した。
上記のように作製された塗液をグラビア法により基材シートの易接着層側の面に、熱転写性インク層(イエロー)、熱転写性インク層(マゼンタ)、熱転写性インク層(シアン)を乾燥後の膜厚1.0μmで面順次に形成した後、離型層の塗液を用いて、離型層を乾燥後の膜厚0.3μmで面順次に形成した後、離型層上に、第一熱転写性保護層用の塗液を用いて、第一熱転写性保護層を乾燥後の膜厚1.0μmで形成した後、さらに引き続いて、第一熱転写性保護層上に第二熱転写性保護層用の塗液を用いて第二熱転写性保護層を乾燥後の膜厚1.0μmで形成し、本発明の熱転写シートを作製した。
実施例1において第一熱転写性保護層に添加する紫外線吸収剤を分子量400以上のベ
ンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤からトリアジン系紫外線吸収剤(チバ・ジャパン:チヌビン)にした以外は実施例1と同様にして比較例1の熱転写シートを作製した。
実施例1において第二熱転写性保護層に添加する紫外線吸収剤をトリアジン系紫外線吸収剤からベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤(チバ・ジャパン:チヌビン)にした以外は実施例1と同様にして比較例2の熱転写シートを作製した。
実施例1において第一熱転写性保護層に添加する紫外線吸収剤を分子量400以上のベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤から分子量300以下のベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤(チバ・ジャパン:チヌビン)にした以外は実施例1と同様にして比較例3の熱転写シートを作製した。
以上のように作製した実施例1および比較例1、2、3の熱転写シートを、熱転写プリンタを用いて黒ベタ柄を印画した。得られた印画物をキセノンウェザオメーター(アトラス:Ci4000)を用いてブラックパネル温度63℃、相対湿度50%、内側フィルター:Sタイプボロシリケイト、外側フィルター:Sタイプボロシリケイト、照射強度1.2(W/m2)(420nm)という条件で96時間照射を行い試験前と試験後の反射濃度(O.D.)を測定し、残存率を求めた。また照射後の印画物についてJIS Z8741に準ずる入射角60°における光沢度を測定した。結果を表1に示す。

Claims (3)
- 基材シートの一方の面の少なくとも一部に、熱転写性保護層を設けた熱転写シートにおいて、
前記熱転写性保護層が、複数の層から形成されており、前記基材シート側から、少なくとも、第一熱転写性保護層、第二熱転写性保護層を順次積層し、前記第一熱転写性保護層が、分子量が400以上のベンゾトリアゾール系の紫外線吸収剤を含み、且つ前記ベンゾトリアゾール系紫外線吸収剤は、樹脂100重量部に対し、1〜20重量部添加され、前記第二熱転写性保護層が、トリアジン系の紫外線吸収剤を含み、且つ前記トリアジン系の紫外線吸収剤は、樹脂100重量部に対し、2〜30重量部添加される
ことを特徴とする熱転写シート。 - 前記基材シートの一方の面に、少なくとも、溶融熱転写インク層と前記熱転写性保護層を長手方向へ順次設けた熱転写シートにおいて、前記溶融熱転写インク層が、染料または顔料とバインダからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の熱転写シート。
- 前記基材シートの一方の面に、少なくとも、昇華性熱転写インク層と前記熱転写性保護層を長手方向へ順次設けた熱転写シートにおいて、前記昇華性熱転写インク層が、熱昇華性染料とバインダとからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の熱転写シート。
