Description
a)0.1〜99.8重量%のアクリル系ポリマー;
b)5〜70重量%のハロゲンを含有する0.1〜99.8重量%のハロゲン含有ポリマー;
c)0.1〜25重量%の亜鉛、マグネシウム、モリブデン、アンチモン、アルミニウム、スズ、銅、マンガン、コバルトまたは鉄の無機水酸化物
を含む高分子材料に適用される。
a)0.1〜99.8重量%のアクリル系ポリマー;
b)5〜70重量%のハロゲンを含有する0.1〜99.8重量%のハロゲン含有ポリマー;
c)0.1〜25重量%の亜鉛、マグネシウム、モリブデン、アンチモン、アルミニウム、スズ、銅、マンガン、コバルトまたは鉄の無機水酸化物
を含む高分子材料を製造する方法に適用される。
表1に示すように、ポリメチルメタクリレート−co−エチルアクリレートを含む工業用等級の耐衝撃性改良アクリル系成形コポリマーを、必要量のuPVC(EVC Compoundsによって供給される)および平均粒径5μmの水酸化マグネシウム(Britmagによって供給される)と溶融ブレンドした。0.5重量%のUV安定剤(Ciba−GeigyからのTINUVIN P)および8重量%のカラーマスターバッチ(アクリル中50%ピグメント分散液)を各サンプルに添加した。Clextral 30 ベント式二軸スクリュー押出機(汎用スクリュー、300rpm、190℃)を用いて、材料を配合した。材料を100マイクロメートルの厚さで、発泡uPVC上に押出した。
54.5重量%の標準アクリル成形材料(Ineos Acrylicsから入手することができるDiakon(商標)MG102)、40重量%の非可塑化PVC、1%のMg(OH)2、2%のスズ酸亜鉛および2%のホウ酸亜鉛を含む組成物と共に、0.5%のUV安定剤(Ciba−GeigyからのTINUVIN P)および0.2%の熱安定剤(Ciba−GeigyからのIrganox 1076)を、実施例1に記載したように溶融ブレンドした。色合わせした未変性uPVCから製造されるサンプルと共に、耐候性を測定した。結果を表2に示す。
ポリメチルメタクリレート−co−エチルアクリレートを含む36.5重量%の市販耐衝撃性改良アクリル系成形化合物、50重量%の非可塑化PVC(EVCから入手することができる)、8%のカラーマスターバッチ(アクリル中50%ピグメント分散液)および5%のMg(OH)2を含む組成物と共に、0.5%のUV安定剤(Ciba−GeigyからのTINUVIN P)を、Clextral 30 ベント式二軸スクリュー押出機(汎用スクリュー、300rpm、190℃)を用いて溶融ブレンドした。こうして得られたペレットを射出成形して、呼称厚さ4mmのプラークを製造した。
ポリメチルメタクリレート−co−エチルアクリレートを含む11.5重量%の市販アクリル成形化合物、75重量%の未可塑化PVC(EVCから入手することができる)、8%のカラーマスターバッチ(アクリル中50%ピグメント分散液)および5%のMg(OH)2を含む組成物と共に、0.5%のUV安定剤(Ciba−GeigyからのTINUVIN P)を、実施例3に記載したように溶融ブレンドして、成形した。
86.5重量%の未可塑化PVC(EVCから入手することができる)、8%のカラーマスターバッチ(アクリル中50%ピグメント分散液)および5%のMg(OH)2を含む組成物と共に、0.5%のUV安定剤(Ciba−GeigyからのTINUVIN P)を、実施例3に記載したように溶融ブレンドして、成形した。
着色uPVCの色合わせしたサンプルおよび実施例3〜5に記載した材料を、ASTM G53に従うQ−Panel機において、QUV Aを用いて、耐候性能について試験した。結果を表3に示す。
Claims (28)
- (a)アルキル(アルク)アクリレートのホモポリマーまたはコポリマーから選択されるアクリル系ポリマーであって、ここで前記コポリマーは50〜99重量%のアルキルメタクリレートおよび1〜50重量%のアルキルアクリレートを含むモノマー混合物を重合することによって製造され、アルキル(アルク)アクリレートの分子量(Mw)は200,000以下であり、少なくとも20,000である;
(b)5〜70重量%のハロゲンを含有するハロゲン含有ポリマー;
(c)水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化アンチモンおよび水酸化亜鉛またはそれらの混合物(しかし、酸化亜鉛と水酸化マグネシウムとの組み合わせ、および/またはスズ酸亜鉛と水酸化マグネシウムとの組み合わせは含まない)から選択された0.1〜20重量%の無機水酸化物、
を含む高分子材料。
- 前記無機水酸化物が水酸化マグネシウムを含んでなる、請求項1に記載の高分子材料。
- (a)アルキル(アルク)アクリレートのホモポリマーまたはコポリマーから選択されるアクリル系ポリマーであって、ここで前記コポリマーは50〜99重量%のアルキルメタクリレートおよび1〜50重量%のアルキルアクリレートを含むモノマー混合物を重合することによって製造され、アルキル(アルク)アクリレートの分子量(Mw)は200,000以下であり、少なくとも20,000である;
(b)5〜70重量%のハロゲンを含有するハロゲン含有ポリマー;
(c)0.1〜20重量%の水酸化マグネシウムから本質的に成る無機水酸化物、
を含む高分子材料。
- 前記アクリル系ポリマーが高分子材料の0.1〜99.8重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記ハロゲン含有ポリマーが高分子材料の0.1〜99.8重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記アクリル系ポリマーが、C1−6アルキル(C0−10アルク)アクリレートのホモポリマーを含む請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記アクリル系ポリマーが、50〜99重量%のアルキルメタクリレートと1〜50重量%のアルキルアクリレートとを含むモノマー混合物を重合することによって製造されるコポリマーを含み、前記アルキルメタクリレートがC1−4アルキルメタクリレートである、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記アクリル系ポリマーが、50〜99重量%のアルキルメタクリレートと1〜50重量%のアルキルアクリレートとを含むモノマー混合物を重合することによって製造されるコポリマーを含み、前記アルキルアクリレートがC1−4アルキルアクリレートである、請求項1〜5または7のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記アルキル(アルク)アクリレートの分子量(Mw)が少なくとも50,000である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記アルキル(アルク)アクリレートの分子量(Mw)が150,000以下である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記高分子材料中のアクリル系ポリマーに対するハロゲン含有ポリマーの重量比が少なくとも0.3である、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記ハロゲン含有ポリマーが、塩化ビニルのホモポリマーまたはコポリマーである、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記ハロゲン含有ポリマーが、少なくとも10重量%のハロゲンを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記ハロゲン含有ポリマーが塩素以外のハロゲンを含まない、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記高分子材料が、少なくとも0.5重量%の前記無機水酸化物を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記高分子材料が、10重量%以下の前記無機水酸化物を含む、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記高分子材料が、20〜60重量%のゴム状コポリマーを更に含む、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記高分子材料がシート、フィルム、粉末または顆粒の形態である、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 前記高分子材料がハイドロタルサイトを含まない、請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか一項で定義される高分子材料の製造方法であって、アクリル系ポリマーとハロゲン含有ポリマーと無機水酸化物とを150℃〜230℃の温度で溶融混合することを含む方法。
- アクリル系ポリマーを、ハロゲン含有ポリマーと溶融混合する前に無機水酸化物と溶融混合することを特徴とする、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか一項で定義される高分子材料を含む、建築に用いるための耐候性構成材。
- 請求項22に記載の建築に用いるための耐候性構成材であって、前記構成材が固型のあるいは共押出しされたものである建築用構成材。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか一項で定義される高分子材料で製造された構成材の建築における使用。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか一項で定義される高分子材料で製造された構成材を含む建築物。
- 支持体およびキャップストック材料を含む構成材であって、支持体またはキャップストック材料の少なくともいずれか一方が請求項1〜19のいずれか一項で定義される高分子材料である、構成材。
- (b)5〜70重量%のハロゲンを含むハロゲン含有ポリマー;および(a)請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル系ポリマーを含んでなる高分子材料の耐候性を向上するための、アンチモン、亜鉛またはマグネシウムの無機水酸化物の使用。
- 建築物中で耐候性構成材として用いるための、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の高分子材料の使用。
