Description
以下、本発明を詳細に説明する。
0.01質量%未満の場合には耐食性が不充分となり、5質量%超えると耐食性が飽和して不経済となるだけでなく、使用する水性分散樹脂によってはゲル化して塗布不能となることがある。より好ましくは、0.05〜3質量%である。
反応容器にエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合樹脂(メタクリル酸の含有量が18%)、樹脂に対して5%の水酸化ナトリウム及び脱イオン水を加え、95℃で6時間攪拌することにより固形分20%の水分散樹脂液を得た。この水分散樹脂液に、さらにペンタエリスリトールポリグリシジルエーテル0.4%及びγ−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン1.2%を加えて、85℃で2時間反応させることによって、固形分21%の、シラノール基及び/又はメトキシシリル基を有する樹脂粒子(A−1)の水分散液を得た。動的光散乱法による粒子径測定装置、FPAR−1000(大塚電子社製)によって測定した樹脂粒子(A−1)の平均粒子径は72nmであった。
反応容器にエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合樹脂(メタクリル酸の含有量が20%)、樹脂に対して3.7%の水酸化ナトリウム、6.3%の25%アンモニア水(濃度25%)、及び脱イオン水を加え、95℃で6時間攪拌することにより固形分20%の水分散樹脂液を得た。この水分散樹脂液に対して、さらにペンタエリスリトールポリグリシジルエーテルを0.6%、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシランを1.2%を加えて、85℃で2時間反応させることによって、固形分21%の、シラノール基及び/又はエトキシシリル基を有する樹脂粒子(A−2)の水分散液を得た。上記と同様に測定した樹脂粒子(A−2)の平均粒子径は84nmであった。
反応容器にエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合樹脂(メタクリル酸の含有量が20%)、樹脂に対して5.6%相当の水酸化ナトリウム及び脱イオン水を加え、95℃で6時間攪拌することにより固形分20%の水分散樹脂液を得た。この水分散樹脂液に対して、さらにグリセロールポリグリシジルエーテルを0.8%、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを0.8%加えて、85℃で2時間反応させることによって、固形分21%の、シラノール基及び/又はメトキシシリル基を有する樹脂粒子(A−3)の水分散液を得た。上記と同様に測定した樹脂粒子(A−3)の平均粒子径は76nmであった。
反応容器にエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合樹脂(メタクリル酸の含有量が20%)、樹脂に対して5.6%相当の水酸化ナトリウム及び脱イオン水を加え、95℃で2時間攪拌することにより固形分20%の水分散樹脂液を得た。この水分散樹脂液に対して、さらにグリセロールポリグリシジルエーテルを0.8%、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを0.8%加えて、85℃で2時間反応させることによって、固形分21%の、シラノール基及び/又はメトキシシリル基を有する樹脂粒子(A−4)の水分散液を得た。上記と同様に測定した樹脂粒子(A−4)の平均粒子径は128nmであった。
反応容器にエチレン−メタクリル酸共重合樹脂(メタクリル酸の含有量が20%)、樹脂に対して15.8%相当のアンモニア水(濃度25%)及び脱イオン水を加え、95℃で2時間攪拌することにより固形分20%の水分散樹脂液を得た。この水分散樹脂液に対して、さらに水素化ビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテルを1.2%、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを1.2%加えて、85℃で2時間反応させることによって、固形分21%のシラノール基及び/又はメトキシシリル基を有する樹脂粒子(A−5)の水分散液を得た。上記と同様に測定した樹脂粒子(A−5)の平均粒子径は、145nmであった。
反応容器にラウリル硫酸ナトリウムの2%水溶液を加えて80℃に保ち、過硫酸アンモニウムを前記水溶液に対して0.3%となるよう仕込んだ。直後に、スチレン、メタクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸2エチルヘキシル、メタクリル酸及びγ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシランの30:34:30:2:4の質量比で構成される不飽和モノマー混合物の滴下を開始し、全量を2時間かけて均等に仕込んだ。そのままの温度で1時間攪拌を継続してから冷却し、アンモニア水でpHを8に調整して、固形分21%のシラノール基及び/又はメトキシシリル基を有する樹脂粒子(A−6)の水分散液を得た。上記と同様に測定した樹脂粒子(A−6)の平均粒子径は、80nmであった。
水性被覆剤の調製
上記樹脂粒子(A−1)の水分散液に、平均粒子径15nmの酸化ケイ素の水分散液、ジプロピルビス(トリエタノールアミナト)チタン、リン酸水素二アンモニウム、チオ尿素を表1の処方に従い順に配合し、固形分18%の水性組成物を調製した。
厚さ0.8mmの電気亜鉛めっき鋼板(亜鉛付着量:20g/m2)を、アルカリ脱脂剤(サーフクリーナー155、日本ペイント社製)2%水溶液を用いて、60℃で2分間スプレー処理して脱脂し、水洗して温風乾燥させた。冷却後、この脱脂処理板に、上記水性被覆剤をバーコーターで、乾燥皮膜量が1g/m2になるように塗布し、雰囲気温度が500℃の熱風乾燥炉を用いて鋼板到達温度が180℃になるように焼き付けて試験板を作成した。
耐食性、基材密着性、耐溶剤性、耐アルカリ性、耐プレス油性、及び塗装密着性を評価した。評価は下記の方法にしたがって行い、その結果を表1に記載した。
試験板の端面部及び裏面部をテープシールし、5%の食塩水を35℃で噴霧し、120時間後の白錆発生面積率を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:白錆発生なし
○:白錆発生面積が10%未満
△:同10%以上30%未満
×:同30%以上
塗装後1時間以内の試験板をエリクセンテスターで8mm押し出し加工したのち、押し出し部にセロテープ(登録商標)(ニチバン社製)を貼り、強制剥離した後の塗膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:剥離なし
○:僅かに剥離
△:部分剥離
×:完全剥離
試験板をラビングテスターに設置後、エタノールを含浸させた脱脂綿を0.5Kgf/cm2の荷重で10回(往復)、及びケロシン含浸させた脱脂綿を0.5Kgf/cm2の荷重で50回(往復)擦った後の皮膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:擦り面に跡がまったく付かない
○:擦り面に跡がわずかに付く
△:擦り面に白い跡が付く
×:擦り面に皮膜がなくなる
水性被覆剤を調整直後に作成した試験板と調整してから10日経時に作成した試験板を55℃のアルカリ脱脂剤(サーフクリーナー53、日本ペイント社製)2%水溶液に撹拌しながら30分間浸漬した後の皮膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:剥離なし
○:僅かに剥離
△:部分剥離
×:完全剥離
試験板をプレス油(G6318SK、日本工作油社製)に室温下で24時間浸漬した後の皮膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:変色なし
○:僅かに変色
△:ムラ
×:剥離
試験板表面にメラミンアルキッド塗料(スーパーラック100、日本ペイント社製)をバーコーターで乾燥膜厚20μmとなるように塗布し、120℃で25分間焼き付けて塗膜板を作製した。次に塗膜板を沸騰水中に30分間浸漬し、24時間放置後、エリクセンテスターにて塗膜板を7mm押し出し、その押し出し部にセロテープ(登録商標)(ニチバン社製)を貼り、強制剥離した後の塗膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:剥離なし
○:僅かに剥離
△:部分剥離
×:完全剥離
水性被覆剤の処方を表1に記載したように変えた以外は、実施例1と同様に試験板を作成し評価した。この結果を表1に示した。
試験に用いる原板を電気亜鉛めっき鋼板から厚さ0.8mmの溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板(亜鉛付着量:60g/m2)に変更する以外は、表2に記載したように、実施例1〜9、比較例1〜3と同一の水性被覆液を用いて、同様に試験板を作成し評価した。この結果を表2に示した。
Claims (4)
- 複合皮膜によって被覆された被覆鋼板であって、
前記複合皮膜は、
平均粒子径が20〜100nmであり、シラノール基及び/又はアルコキシシリル基を有するエチレン−不飽和カルボン酸共重合樹脂粒子(A)、
平均粒子径が5〜50nmである酸化ケイ素粒子(B)、
及び有機チタン化合物(C)
が複合化した皮膜であり、皮膜量が0.5〜3g/m2であることを特徴とする被覆鋼板。 - 複合皮膜は、酸化ケイ素粒子(B)が樹脂粒子(A)に対して5〜100質量%であり、チタン原子の含有率が皮膜全量に対して0.05〜3質量%である請求項1記載の被覆鋼板。
- 樹脂粒子(A)は、エチレン−メタクリル酸共重合樹脂からなる請求項1又は2記載の被覆鋼板。
- 複合皮膜は、
前記(A)〜(C)に加えて、更に、リン酸化合物、チオカルボニル化合物、酸化ニオブ、及びグアニジン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1の化合物(D)
が複合化した皮膜である請求項1、2又は3記載の被覆鋼板。
