Description

等式(2)から明らかなように、観察者に特定の色を知覚させるには、その色に対応した波長λと照明光の入射角|αN|と中心間距離dとを、それらが等式(2)に示す関係を満足するように設定すればよい。
Claims (12)
- 光透過性の基材と、
前記基材の少なくとも一方の面上に設けられ、前記基材と接する面と反対側の面に凹凸構造領域を備えるレリーフ構造形成層と、
前記レリーフ構造形成層の凹凸構造領域を備える面上に設けられた光反射層と、
前記レリーフ構造形成層が設けられた面と反対側の基材面上、及び、前記レリーフ構造形成層と光反射層との間、及び、前記レリーフ構造形成層が接する面とは反対側の光反射層上、のいずれかに形成される印刷層と、
を備え、
前記凹凸構造領域は、二次元的に配列した複数の凹部または凸部からなり、かつ、単一の前記凹部または凸部の表面積が、前記単一の凹部または凸部を前記レリーフ構造形成層表面へ配列するのに要する占有面積の1.5倍以上であり、通常の照明条件下において低反射性と低散乱性を有するとともに特定条件下において回折光射出機能を有する
ことを特徴とする表示体。 - 前記印刷層の少なくとも一部が、所定の入射光に対し低反射性及び低散乱性を有するインキまたはトナーにより形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示体。
- 前記印刷層の少なくとも一部が、観察する角度に応じて発色が異なる機能性インキにより形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示体。
- 前記印刷層の少なくとも一部に、観察する角度に応じて表示画像が変化する潜像パターンが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示体。
- 前記凹部または凸部の断面がテーパー形状であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記凹部または凸部が、截頭円錐状、截頭角錐状、截頭楕円錐状のいずれかの形状であり、前記凹部または凸部の截頭頂部が前記基材表面と平行な平坦面を有しており、前記平坦面の幅が90nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記凹部または凸部が所定の中心間距離でマトリクス状に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記凹部または凸部が所定の中心間距離でハニカム状に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 隣接する前記凹部または凸部の中心間距離が400nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 隣接する前記凹部または凸部の中心間距離が250nm以上乃至300nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記凹部または凸部の前記基材表面と鉛直な方向の高さが200nm以上乃至600nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の表示体とこれを支持した印刷物基材とを具備した情報印刷物。
