Description
以上説明したように、実施の形態においては、柱部22にころ脱落防止用装着具40を装着することでころの脱落防止が可能となり、柱部22にころ止め爪を形成する必要がない。そのため、保持器本体20としては、その柱部22にころ止め爪を成形加工する必要がなくなり、その設計の自由度が大幅に増す。また、ころ脱落防止用装着具40は、その形状自体が、ころ止め爪のような複雑な形状ではなく、簡素な構造であるから、柱部22に成形加工を施すことと比較して安価に済む。ころ脱落防止用装着具40は、表面粗さを向上させることで、潤滑油の油膜切れやコンタミネーションを改善することができる。さらに、ころ脱落防止用装着具40は保持器10とは別工程で高精度に製作することが可能である一方、保持器本体20も、その柱部22にころ止め爪を成形する必要なく簡素な形状の柱部構造として製作することが可能であるから、全体としては製造コストの削減、製造時間の短縮等により製造上の歩留まりに優れた保持器10を提供することができる。

Claims (1)
- 円周方向で隣り合う柱部間にころ保持用の窓孔を備える保持器本体と、保持器本体とは別体とされて柱部に装着されている複数のころ脱落防止用装着具と、を備え、
ころ脱落防止用装着具は、柱部外径面に係止する係止部と、係止部の両端から柱部両内側面に向けて延びる二つの挟持部とを備えて、全体として断面略「コ」形状に成形されているとともに、上記両挟持部が柱部側に向けて凸状をなして柱部両内側面を弾性的に挟持する形態で柱部に装着されて固定される、ことを特徴とするころ軸受用保持器。
