本実施例において使用した供試材料を製造元、商品名、物性値などとともに示す。なお、一部のものについては実験室にて合成したものを使用した。
(a1)ポリプロピレン[出光石油化学(株)製、商品名「E−150GM」、MFR=0.5g/10分]
(a2)ポリプロピレン[日本ポリケム(株)製、商品名「BC8」、MFR=1.8g/10分]
(a’1)ポリメチルペンテン[三井化学(株)製、商品名「MX002」]
(b1)水酸化マグネシウム[マーティンスベルグ(株)製、商品名「マグニフィンH10」、平均粒径約1.0μm]

ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂[東ソー(株)製、商品名「4000M3」、重合度1300]
ジイソノニルフタレート(DINP)[大日本インキ化学(株)製、商品名「モノサイザーDINP」]
ジオクチルフタレート(DOP)[大日本インキ化学(株)製、商品名「モノサイザーDOP」]
重質炭酸カルシウム[丸尾カルシウム(株)製、商品名「スーパー#1700」]
カルシウム亜鉛系安定剤[堺化学(株)製、商品名「OW−800」]
スチレンブタジエンゴム[JSR(株)製、商品名「1013N」]
天然ゴム[RSS2号]
酸化亜鉛[ハクスイテック(株)製、商品名「酸化亜鉛2種」]
ロジン系樹脂[荒川化学工業(株)製、商品名「エステルガムH」]
初めに、二軸混練機を用いて、後述の表に示す各成分を混合温度250℃にて混合した後、ペレタイザーにてペレット状に成形して本実施例に係る組成物と比較例に係る組成物を得た。次いで、得られた各組成物を、50mm押出機により、軟銅線を7本撚り合わせた軟銅撚線の導体(断面積0.5mm2)の外周に0.28mm厚で押出被覆し、本実施例に係るノンハロゲン系絶縁電線および比較例に係るノンハロゲン系絶縁電線を作製した。
次に、得られた本実施例に係るノンハロゲン系絶縁電線、比較例に係るノンハロゲン系絶縁電線および塩化ビニル系絶縁電線を用いて、ワイヤーハーネスを作製した。すなわち、任意の数のノンハロゲン系絶縁電線と、任意の数の塩化ビニル系絶縁電線を混在させた混在電線束を作製し、その外周に、ワイヤーハーネス保護材として、粘着剤付テープを巻き付けることによりワイヤーハーネスを作製した。
以上のように作製した各絶縁電線について、難燃性試験、引張伸び試験、引張強度試験、耐摩耗性試験、柔軟性試験、加工性試験、耐熱性Aおよび耐熱性C試験を行った。一方、ワイヤーハーネス中の絶縁電線については、耐熱性B試験を行った。以下に各試験方法および評価方法について説明する。
JASO D611−94に準拠して行った。すなわち、ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線を300mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。次いで、各試験片を鉄製試験箱に入れて水平に支持し、口径10mmのブンゼンバーナーを用いて還元炎の先端を試験片中央部の下側から30秒以内で燃焼するまで当て、炎を静かに取り去った後の残炎時間を測定した。この残炎時間が15秒以内のものを合格とし、15秒を超えるものを不合格とした。
JASO D611−94に準拠して行った。すなわち、ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線を150mmの長さに切り出し、導体を取り除いて絶縁被覆材のみの管状試験片とした後、その中央部に50mmの間隔で標線を記した。次いで、23±5℃の室温下にて試験片の両端を引張試験機のチャックに取り付けた後、引っ張り速度200mm/分で引っ張り、試験片の破断時の荷重および標線間の距離を測定した。引張伸びについては125%以上のものを合格とし、125%未満のものを不合格とした。一方、引張強度については15.7MPa以上のものを合格とし、15.7MPa未満のものを不合格とした。
JASO D611−94に準拠し、ブレード往復法により行った。すなわち、ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線を750mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。次いで、25℃の室温下にて、台上に固定した試験片の絶縁被覆材の表面を軸方向に10mmの長さにわたってブレードを往復させ、絶縁被覆材の摩耗によってブレードが導体に接触するまでの往復回数を測定した。この際、ブレードにかける荷重は7Nとし、ブレードは毎分50回の速度で往復させた。次いで、試験片を100mm移動させて、時計方向に90℃回転させ、上記の測定を繰り返した。この測定を同一試験片について合計3回行い、最低値が150回以上のものを合格とし、150回未満のものを不合格とした。
各絶縁電線を手で折り曲げた際の手感触により判断した。すなわち、触感が良好のものを合格とし、良好でないものを不合格とした。
各被覆電線の端末部の樹脂被覆部を皮剥した際に、ヒゲが形成されるか否かを確認し、ヒゲが形成されないものを合格とし、ヒゲが形成されるものを不合格とした。
ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線1本を150℃×72時間の条件下にて老化させた後、自己径巻き付けにより絶縁被覆材に亀裂が生じないものを合格とし、亀裂が生じたものを不合格とした。
ワイヤーハーネス、すなわち、ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線と塩化ビニル系絶縁電線をそれぞれ任意の数にて混在させた混在電線束の外周に、塩化ビニル系粘着剤付テープを巻き付けたものを150℃×72時間の条件下にて老化させた後、混在電線束中より任意のノンハロゲン系絶縁電線を1本取り出し、自己径巻き付けにより電線被覆材に亀裂が生じないものを合格とし、亀裂が生じたものを不合格とした。
200℃の恒温槽内にて、ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線を10分間放置した後、幅0.7mmのヘッド先端部により、荷重300g、4時間加圧した。その後、荷重を取り去り、ノンハロゲン系絶縁電線の耐電圧試験(1000V×1分間)を行い、耐電圧試験に耐えるものを合格とし、耐えないものを不合格とした。
Claims (5)
- (A)プロピレン単量体の含有率が50重量%以上であるプロピレン系樹脂と融点180℃以上の熱可塑性樹脂とを含む非架橋型ベース樹脂100重量部に対して、
(B)平均粒径0.4〜5.0μmの範囲内にある水酸化マグネシウムまたは水酸化アルミニウム30〜250重量部、
(C)ヒンダードフェノール系酸化防止剤0.5〜10重量部、
(D)イオウ系酸化防止剤としてイミダゾール系化合物0.5〜20重量部、および、
(E)金属酸化物0.5〜20重量部を含有し、
前記(A)非架橋型ベース樹脂中のプロピレン系樹脂の含有率が40〜90重量%、融点180℃以上の熱可塑性樹脂の含有率が60〜10重量%であることを特徴とする非架橋型難燃性樹脂組成物。 - 前記融点180℃以上の熱可塑性樹脂は、ポリメチルペンテンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非架橋型難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(E)金属酸化物は、亜鉛(Zn)、アルミニウム(Al)、マグネシウム(Mg)、鉛(Pb)およびスズ(Sn)から選択される少なくとも1種の金属の酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の非架橋型難燃性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の非架橋型難燃性樹脂組成物を導体の外周に被覆してなることを特徴とするノンハロゲン系絶縁電線。
- 請求項4に記載のノンハロゲン系絶縁電線単独からなる単独電線束または請求項4に記載のノンハロゲン系絶縁電線と塩化ビニル系絶縁電線とを少なくとも含んでなる混在電線束を、ノンハロゲン系樹脂組成物、塩化ビニル樹脂組成物または当該塩化ビニル樹脂組成物以外のハロゲン系樹脂組成物を基材として用いたワイヤーハーネス保護材により被覆してなることを特徴とするワイヤーハーネス。
