Description
(1)フィルタの通過流量が突然減少した場合、
(2)フィルタの通過ガス中の酸素濃度が増加した場合
であり、実運転上はアイドル運転に突然移行するときに最もフィルタのベッド温度が上昇する。これは、
(3)フィルタを通過する排気流量が減少して排気に持ち去られるフィルタの熱量が減少すること、
(4)排気中の酸素濃度が増加してフィルタに堆積しているパティキュレートの燃焼が活発になること
のためである。
フィルタの再生時期になると排気温度を上昇させてフィルタの再生処理を行うディーゼルエンジンの排気浄化装置において、前記フィルタへのパティキュレート堆積量を推定し、
前記再生処理の途中でアイドル運転に移行したときのフィルタ最高温度を予め予測しておき、この予め予測したフィルタ最高温度がフィルタ上限温度を超えることがないように前記推定されるパティキュレート堆積量に応じて再生処理中のフィルタ入口の排気の目標温度を設定し、その設定した目標温度以下となるように排気温度を制御する。

の式によって[g/min]の単位のシリンダ吸入空気量に換算する。また、燃料噴射量Qfも、

=Qf[mm3/st]×Ne[rpm]×定数1…(2)
ただし、定数1:単位変換係数、
の式により[L/h]の単位の燃料噴射量に換算する。そして、これらシリンダ吸入空気量Qac1、燃料噴射量Qf5を用いて排気流量Vex1を、
Vex1[L/h]=(Qac1[g/min]×60/σ2)
+Qf5[L/h]…(3)
ただし、σ2:空気密度[g/L]
の式により計算する。排気流量の単位は(3)式の[L/h]に限らず、Vex2[kg/h]、Vex3[L/s]、Vex4[m3/min]として求めることができる。最後の排気流量Vex4[m3/min]である場合には、さらにΔPとT1[℃]を用いて標準状態(20℃、1atm)での排気流量Qexh[m3/min]に換算する。ここでは、この排気流量Qexhを用いる。
再生上限温度(目標温度)を離散値(多段階)で、例えば2段階であるいは多段階で設定することが考えられる(第2、第3実施形態、請求項4に記載の発明)。

Claims (7)
- 排気通路にパティキュレートを捕集して堆積させるフィルタを備え、
フィルタの再生時期になると排気温度を上昇させてフィルタの再生処理を行うディーゼルエンジンの排気浄化装置において
再生処理中のフィルタ入口の排気の目標温度を、前記再生処理の途中でアイドル運転相当となったときのフィルタ温度の上昇分を見込んで設定する目標温度設定手段と、
その設定した目標温度以下となるように排気温度を制御する排気温度制御手段と
を備えることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。 - 排気通路にパティキュレートを捕集して堆積させるフィルタを備え、
フィルタの再生時期になると排気温度を上昇させてフィルタの再生処理を行うディーゼルエンジンの排気浄化装置において
前記フィルタへのパティキュレート堆積量を推定するパティキュレート堆積量推定手段と、
前記再生処理の途中でアイドル運転に移行したときのフィルタ最高温度を予め予測しておき、この予め予測したフィルタ最高温度がフィルタ上限温度を超えることがないように前記推定されるパティキュレート堆積量に応じて再生処理中のフィルタ入口の排気の目標温度を設定する目標温度設定手段と、
その設定した目標温度以下となるように排気温度を制御する排気温度制御手段と
を備えることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。 - 前記推定されるパティキュレート堆積量は再生処理開始時の値であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。
- 前記推定されるパティキュレート堆積量の範囲を複数に分割し、当該パティキュレート堆積量が多くなるほど低くなるように前記再生処理中の目標温度を多段階に設定することを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。
- 前記推定されるパティキュレート堆積量が多くなるほど低くなるように前記再生処理中の目標温度を連続的に設定することを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。
- 前記フィルタの入口排気温度を検出する入口排気温度検出手段を備え、
この検出される入口排気温度が前記再生処理中の目標温度以下となるように排気温度をフィードバック制御することを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。 - 前記目標温度設定手段は、フィルタ下流側におけるフィルタ最高温度を予測するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項2から6のいずれか一つに記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気後処理装置。
