Abstract
【解決手段】DPFにおける過昇温抑制制御として、吸気量を絞り、かつアフター噴射を行うことでDPFに流入する排気中の酸素濃度を低減する制御(酸欠制御)を実行する場合に、エンジン回転数の低下に対する燃料噴射量の増加量を酸欠制御でない場合に比べて大きくする。さらにエンジン回転数の低下に対して、噴射時期の進角化、吸気量の増量も併せて実行するとしてもよい。

Claims (10)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に配置されて粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタと、
そのフィルタよりも上流の位置に配置された酸化触媒と、
前記フィルタに堆積した粒子状物質が燃焼する際に、過昇温発生の可能性がある場合に、過昇温を抑制するように、前記内燃機関への吸気量の低減と、内燃機関の筒内における主噴射よりも後の燃料噴射とにより、前記フィルタに流入する排気中の酸素濃度を低減する酸欠制御手段と、
その酸欠制御手段が酸素濃度の低減制御を実行する際に、失火及びエンジンストールを抑制するように、内燃機関の回転数変化に応じて、燃料噴射量、燃料噴射時期、吸気量の少なくとも1つの指示値を調節する調節手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記調節手段は、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行している期間に、前記内燃機関がアイドル運転状態である状況での前記内燃機関の回転数が低下した場合の燃料噴射量を、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行しない場合よりも回転が低下するほど大きくする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記調節手段は、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行している期間に、前記内燃機関がアイドル運転状態である状況で、前記内燃機関の回転数の目標回転数からの低下量に対する、燃料噴射量増加割合を酸素濃度の低減制御を実行しない場合よりも大きくする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記調節手段は、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行している期間に、前記内燃機関の回転数の低下に応じて、燃料噴射時期を、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行しない場合よりも進角させる請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記内燃機関の燃焼状態が所定の不安定状態にあることを検出する検出手段を備え、
前記調節手段は、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行している期間に、前記検出手段が内燃機関の燃焼状態が不安定であると検出した場合に、内燃機関の燃焼状態が不安定であると検出しない場合よりも燃料噴射時期を進角させる請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記調節手段は、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行している期間に、前記内燃機関の回転数の低下に応じて吸気量を増加させる請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記内燃機関の燃焼状態が所定の不安定状態にあることを検出する検出手段を備え、
前記調節手段は、酸素濃度の低減制御を実行している期間に、前記検出手段が内燃機関の燃焼状態が不安定であると検出した場合に、吸気量を増加させる請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記調節手段は、吸気量を増加させた場合に、筒内でメイン噴射よりも遅角側のトルクに影響しない燃料噴射量を増量する請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記検出手段は前記内燃機関の角速度変動の大きさを筒内燃焼の不安定度を示す数値として検出する請求項5又は7に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記検出手段は前記内燃機関の筒内圧の変動の大きさを筒内燃焼の不安定度を示す数値として検出する請求項5又は7に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
