Description
図1は本発明の一実施形態にかかる内燃機関及びその制御装置の構成を示す図である。内燃機関(以下単に「エンジン」という)1は、シリンダ内に燃料を直接噴射するディーゼルエンジンであり、各気筒に燃料噴射弁16が設けられている。燃料噴射弁16は、電子制御ユニット(以下「ECU」という)20に電気的に接続されており、燃料噴射弁16の開弁時間及び開弁時期は、ECU20により制御される。
タービン10は、複数の可変ベーン(図示せず)を備えており、可変ベーンの開度を変化させることにより、タービン回転数(回転速度)を変更できるように構成されている。タービン10のベーン開度は、ECU20により電磁的に制御される。
触媒コンバータ11は、排気中に含まれる炭化水素及び一酸化炭素の酸化を促進するための酸化触媒を内蔵する。
ステップS11では、昇温制御を実行し、NOx浄化装置13の昇温を促進する。具体的には、燃料の主噴射時期の遅角、ポスト噴射の実行、ポスト噴射する燃料量の増量、吸入空気量の減量を適宜組み合わせて実行する。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関の排気系に設けられたNOx浄化装置と、前記機関の燃焼室内に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射手段とを備える内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、
前記NOx浄化装置の温度を検出する温度検出手段と、
前記NOx浄化装置に蓄積した硫黄酸化物を除去する再生処理を実行する再生手段とを備え、
前記再生手段は、
前記燃料噴射手段による主噴射実行後にポスト噴射を実行し、前記NOx浄化装置の温度を昇温させるとともに、前記NOx浄化装置に流入する排気を還元雰囲気に制御するポスト噴射制御手段と、
前記ポスト噴射を行うことなく、燃料の主噴射量を増加させることにより、前記NOx浄化装置の温度を昇温させるとともに、前記NOx浄化装置に流入する排気を還元雰囲気に制御する主噴射制御手段と、
前記NOx浄化装置の温度が、前記硫黄酸化物を除去可能な温度閾値以上であるか否かを判別する判別手段とを備え、
前記判別手段により前記NOx浄化装置の温度が前記温度閾値以上であると判別されている状態でかつ前記ポスト噴射制御手段を作動させている状態において、前記NOx浄化装置の温度が、前記ポスト噴射を伴わずに前記主噴射量を増加させることによって前記硫黄酸化物を除去可能な高温判定温度より高いときは、前記ポスト噴射制御手段の作動を停止させ、前記主噴射制御手段を作動させることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記判別手段により前記NOx浄化装置の温度が前記温度閾値以上であると判別されている状態でかつ前記主噴射制御手段を作動させている状態において、前記NOx浄化装置の温度が前記高温判定温度より低い低温判定温度より低くなったときは、前記主噴射制御手段の作動を停止させ、前記ポスト噴射制御手段を作動させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記NOx浄化装置は、酸化セリウム系材料を内蔵することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
