Claims (20)
- コンピューティングデバイスであって、
ディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイと通信するプロセッサと、
前記ディスプレイに接続されるエンクロージャと、
前記プロセッサと通信し、前記エンクロージャに接続される入力/出力デバイスと、
を備え、
前記入力/出力デバイスは、前記エンクロージャの外観に実質的に一致する、変更可能なディスプレイを含むことを特徴とする、コンピューティングデバイス。 - 前記入力/出力デバイスが、
前記変更可能なディスプレイを含むインク層、及び
少なくとも1つのアクティブ化層、
を含み、
前記アクティブ化層は前記インク層の前記変更可能なディスプレイを変化させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。 - 前記インク層が複数のカプセルを含み、それぞれのカプセルは、その内部に浮遊させた複数の顔料粒子を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記顔料粒子の少なくとも一部が反射性であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記顔料粒子の少なくとも一部が実質的に透明であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記複数のカプセルが、第1の直径を有するカプセルの第1のセット、及び第2の直径を有するカプセルの第2のセットを含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記複数のカプセルのそれぞれの内部に浮遊させた前記顔料粒子の密度が、前記エンクロージャの外観に実質的に一致するように選択されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記顔料粒子の少なくとも一部がマイカであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記入力/出力デバイスが基板を更に含み、前記少なくとも1つのアクティブ化層が前記基板によって支持されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記基板が穿孔されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記入力/出力デバイスが、前記インク層に動作可能に接続される変更膜を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記変更膜が、テクスチャ加工された表面又は切り子面を刻んだ表面のうちの少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記変更膜が反射性であることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- コンピューティング入力デバイスであって、
前記入力デバイスの表面上に配置される第1の入力領域と、
前記入力デバイスの前記表面上に配置される第2の入力領域と、
を備え、
前記第1の入力領域は、第1の入力機構の操作を通じて第1の入力を受け付けるように構成され、
前記第2の入力領域は、第2の入力機構の操作を通じて第2の入力を受け付けるように構成され、
前記第2の入力領域は、その外観を動的に調整するように更に構成され、
前記入力デバイスは、キーボード、トラックパッド又はマウスのうちの1つであることを特徴とする、コンピューティング入力デバイス。 - 前記第1及び第2の入力が、異なる種類の入力であることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のコンピューティング入力デバイス。
- 前記第1の入力機構がスイッチであり、
前記第2の入力機構がタッチセンサであることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のコンピューティング入力デバイス。 - 前記第2の入力領域が、
eインク層、
前記eインク層を支持する基板、
前記eインク層に重なる膜、及び
前記基板と膜との間に位置付けられるタッチセンサ、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のコンピューティング入力デバイス。 - 前記eインク層内の複数の粒子が蛍光性であることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記eインク層内の複数の粒子が、前記表面の光反射率に一致する光反射率を有することを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
- 前記eインク層内の2つの隣接する粒子が同時にリフレッシュしないことを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のコンピューティングデバイス。
