Description
Claims (19)
- スペースフレームを形成する複数の連結管を連結するための継手部材であって、
複数の受入ポートであって、各受入ポートが、(i)前記スペースフレームの対応する連結管の内径以下である外径を有する内部突起部であって、前記内部突起部が、前記対応する連結管の端部に挿入されるような大きさ及び形状にされている、内部突起部と、(ii)前記対応する連結管の外径以上である内径を有する外部突起部であって、前記外部突起部が、前記対応する連結管の前記端部の外部表面の少なくとも一部の上に適合するような大きさ及び形状にされている、外部突起部と、を備える、複数の受入ポートを備える継手部材。 - 前記複数の受入ポートの2以上の受入ポートが、前記複数の受入ポートの2以上の異なる受入ポートが互いに対して配置されている角度とは異なる、互いに対する角度で配置されている、請求項1に記載の継手部材。
- 前記内部突起部の表面の少なくとも一部が1以上のセンタリング機能部を備える、請求項1に記載の継手部材。
- 前記センタリング機能部が、規則的な又は不規則なパターンで隆起した、前記内部突起部の前記表面の部分である、請求項3に記載の継手部材。
- 前記センタリング機能部が、前記内部突起部の前記表面と前記連結管の内部表面との間に所定の空間距離を強制的に設ける、請求項3に記載の継手部材。
- 前記内部突起部が、前記連結管が前記内部突起部上に取り付けられたときに、前記内部突起部の表面と前記対応する連結管との間に、閉じ込められた容積が生成されるような大きさ及び形状にされている、請求項1に記載の継手部材。
- 前記閉じ込められた容積内に接着剤が提供され、前記継手部材と前記対応する連結管との間に結合を形成する、請求項1に記載の継手部材。
- 継手部材と連結管とのセットによって第1のスペースフレームを形成するステップと、
前記第1のスペースフレームを分解するステップと、
前記第1のスペースフレームを形成していた前記継手部材と前記連結管との少なくとも1つのサブセットによって第2のスペースフレームを形成するステップと、を含む、請求項1に記載の継手部材を使用する方法。 - 前記第1のスペースフレーム及び前記第2のスペースフレームが様々な種類の車両に対応する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- スペースフレームを形成する複数の連結管を連結するための継手部材であって、
(i)前記スペースフレームの対応する連結管の内径以下である外径を有する内部突起部であって、前記内部突起部が、前記対応する連結管の端部に挿入されるような大きさ及び形状にされている、内部突起部と、(ii)前記内部突起部の外部表面から隆起した1以上のセンタリング機能部であって、前記内部突起部が前記対応する連結管の前記端部に挿入されると、前記1以上のセンタリング機能部が、前記対応する連結管の内部表面と、前記内部突起部の周囲の前記内部突起部の外部表面との間に空間を形成するように構成されている、1以上のセンタリング機能部と、を備える、少なくとも1つの受入ポートを備える継手部材。 - 前記センタリング機能部が、前記外部表面前記内部突起部上にパターンで隆起している、請求項10に記載の継手部材。
- 前記内部突起部が前記対応する連結管の前記端部に挿入されると、前記センタリング機能部が、前記内部突起部の長手方向の軸線と前記対応する連結管の長手方向の軸線とを強制的に同軸にする、請求項10に記載の継手部材。
- 継手部材と連結管とのセットによって第1のスペースフレームを形成するステップと、
前記第1のスペースフレームを分解するステップと、
前記第1のスペースフレームを形成していた前記継手部材と前記連結管との少なくとも1つのサブセットによって第2のスペースフレームを形成するステップと、を含む、請求項10に記載の継手部材を使用する方法。 - 前記第1のスペースフレーム及び前記第2のスペースフレームが様々な種類の車両に対応する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 中心ハブと、
前記中心ハブから離れる方に延びる2以上の受入ポートであって、各受入ポートが、(i)内部突起部と、(ii)前記内部突起部と同軸の外部突起部と、によって形成され、前記内部突起部と前記外部突起部とが、前記内部突起部と前記外部突起部との間に、前記内部突起部上に取り付けられた連結管の終端部と嵌合するための環状領域を形成している、2以上の受入ポートと、
前記もう2つ受入ポートのそれぞれに連結された1以上の流体ポートであって、前記1以上の流体ポートが、前記内部突起部の壁の内部にある内部チャネルと流体連通している、1以上の流体ポートと、を備える継手部材。 - 前記連結管が前記内部突起部上に取り付けられたときに、前記内部チャネルが、前記内部突起部の外部表面と前記連結管の内部表面との間の空間と流体連通する、請求項15に記載の継手部材。
- 前記1以上の流体ポートの少なくとも1つが接着剤源に接続されている、請求項15に記載の継手部材。
- 前記接着剤源から、前記内部突起部の外部表面と前記連結管の内部表面との間の前記空間に、前記内部チャネルと流体連通している前記1以上の流体ポートを通じて接着剤が提供される、請求項17に記載の継手部材。
- 前記1以上の流体ポートの少なくとも1つが負圧源に接続されている、請求項15に記載の継手部材。
