本明細書で具体的に列挙されない利点及び実施形態もまた認知され得る。例えば、アクチュエーターの操作は、前述の実施形態に関して、容器針を保管状態から送達状態へ動かすこととして記載してきたが、アクチュエーターは容器針を送達状態から保管状態へも動かし得ることが理解される。貯蓄所の容積未満である投与量の医療用流体又は製剤が送達される場合(インジェクターが患者の必要(例えば小児患者対成人患者)に応じて調節可能な投与量を送達するようプログラムされるように設計される場合といった)、アクチュエーターは、容器針を、投与量の送達前に保管状態から送達状態へ動かし、投与量の送達後に送達状態から保管状態へ動かし得る。送達状態から保管状態への移動は、事実上、容器を再密閉し、患者への流路を閉じる。この一連の保管状態と送達状態との間の移動は、繰り返し得る。上記の通り、送達が開始されるまで閉じた流路を維持することは、患者への意図されない医療用流体又は製剤の送達及び/又は患者の体液と医療用流体又は製剤の混合の可能性が緩和されるという点で利点である。

Claims (49)
- インジェクターであって:
内面を有する容器壁を含む容器;
内面を有する柔軟性密閉アセンブリ壁、及び、前記密閉アセンブリ壁の外部に配置されるバリアであって柔軟性壁とバリアとの間に密閉したスペースを形成する前記バリアを含む、密閉アセンブリであって、前記容器壁及び前記密閉アセンブリ壁の内面が、医療用流体又は製剤で充填された、閉じた滅菌貯蓄所を画定する前記密閉アセンブリ;
保管状態では前記バリアのみを貫通するよう配置され、送達状態では前記滅菌貯蓄所内へ前記柔軟性壁を貫通するよう配置される先端を有する滅菌容器針を含む流体送達システムであって、
前記滅菌容器針はコネクターに取り付けられ、前記コネクターは機械的に容器に結合され、前記針が保管状態である容器に前記滅菌容器針を固定させる、前記流体送達システム;並びに、
前記容器針を保管状態から送達状態へ動かすよう構成されるアクチュエーターを含む、前記インジェクター。 - 前記コネクターが前記容器上にプレスばめされる、請求項1に記載のインジェクター。

- 前記容器が、開口の周囲に配置される縁部、前記容器の前記開口を覆うように配置されている前記密閉アセンブリ、及び、縁部を含み、前記密閉アセンブリ上に配置される前記第2のコネクターを含み、前記容器は、前記密閉アセンブリが縁部間に配置される状態で、前記容器の縁部及び前記第2のコネクターの縁部の周りに形成されるクリンプリングをさらに含み、前記容器の縁部と前記第2のコネクターの縁部との間で密閉アセンブリを固定する、請求項42〜45のいずれか1項に記載のインジェクター。
- 前記第2のコネクターがその間を通る通路を有し、前記滅菌容器針が保管状態で、前記第2のコネクターの前記通路を貫通して配置される、請求項46に記載のインジェクター。
- 前記第1のコネクターが、前記滅菌コネクター針の周囲に絶え間なく配置されるカラーを含む、請求項42〜47のいずれか1項に記載のインジェクター。
- 前記第1のコネクターが、前記滅菌コネクター針の周囲に途切れて配置されるカラーを含む、請求項42〜48のいずれか1項に記載のインジェクター。
