Claims (18)
- 電極リード(110)、
末端で電極リードで坦持された、後根神経節の上または周辺へ移植できるサイズを有し、後根神経節を選択的に刺激するよう適合されている一対の双極電極(115)、及び
電極に刺激エネルギーを供給する移植しうるシグナル発生装置(105、2806)
を含み、該シグナル発生装置はそのシグナル発生装置の出力をコントロールするためのコントローラ(103、106)を含み、該コントローラは、刺激エネルギーを標的後根神経節内の神経組織を刺激するときにのみシグナル発生装置を回転して刺激エネルギーを電極に与えるようにプログラムするように適合されている、神経刺激システム(100)。 - コントローラ(103,106)がプリセット・プログラムを用いてシグナル発生装置(105)を活性化するように適合されている、請求項1記載の神経刺激システム。
- コントローラ(103,106)がインプットに基づいて選択されたダイナミック・プログラムを用いてシグナル発生装置(105)を活性化するように適合されている、請求項1記載の神経刺激システム。
- インプットが、体内のパラメータをモニターするセンサー(108)から供給される、請求項3記載の神経刺激システム。
- インプットが、医師により選択された予め決定された複数のプログラムから選択される、請求項3記載の神経刺激システム。
- インプットが、電極により刺激されている人により選択された予め決定された複数のプログラムから選択される、請求項3記載の神経刺激システム。
