Abstract
【解決手段】発光または蛍光体スクリーンを形成する方法について記載してある。この方法は、a)前側と後側とを備えた基材を含む熱物質供与体要素に、前記基材の前記前側に接着された発光材料または蛍光体のコーティングを提供する工程と、b)発光材料または蛍光体の前記コーティングを支持層に近接配置する工程と、c)前記物質供与体要素にコヒーレント放射線を与えて、発光材料または蛍光体の前記コーティングの少なくとも一部を加熱し、前記発光材料または蛍光体の少なくとも一部を前記支持層に局所的に転写する工程と、d)転写された発光材料または蛍光体のコーティングを、前記支持層上に少なくとも1平方センチメートルの面積で与えるのに十分な回数工程(c)を繰り返す工程とを含む。

Description
カーボンブラックの光から熱への変換層を、下記の「LTHCコーティング溶液1」を、線インチ当たり90の螺旋セルのあるマイクログラビアロールを用いて、安井精機ラボコーターの型番CAG−150で、3.88ミルのPET基材上にコーティングすることにより作成した。
光から熱への変換層のカーボンブラックコーティングの上に、「保護中間層コーティング溶液1」を、線インチ当たり150の螺旋セルのあるマイクログラビアロールで、安井精機ラボコーターの型番CAG−150を用いて、輪転グラビアコートした。コーティングをインライン乾燥し(100℃)、H-バルブで固定したFusion Systems型番1600(600ワット/インチ)uv硬化システムを用いて20フィート/分でuv硬化した。このLITI供与体要素は、「LITI供与体要素I」と示した。
LITI供与体要素1の保護中間層を、12番のコーティングロッドを用いて「蛍光体転写層コーティング溶液1」でオーバーコートした。その後、コーティングを60℃で3分間乾燥した。
Claims (27)
- a)前側と後側とを備えた基材を含む熱物質供与体要素に、前記基材の前記前側に接着された発光材料のコーティングを提供する工程と、
b)発光材料の前記コーティングを受容体層に近接配置する工程と、
c)前記要素に十分な強度の放射線を与えて、発光材料の前記コーティングの少なくとも一部を加熱し、前記発光材料の少なくとも一部を前記受容体層に局所的に転写する工程と、
d)転写された発光材料の少なくとも1平方センチメートルの面積を有する均一なコーティングを前記受容体層上に与えるのに十分な回数工程(c)を繰り返す工程と
を含む発光スクリーンを形成する方法。 - 前記放射線がコヒーレント放射線である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記発光材料が蛍光体を含む請求項2記載の方法。
- 転写された発光材料の前記コーティングがバインダーと蛍光体の連続コーティングを含む請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記受容体層がガラスを含む請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記受容体層が曲面ガラスを含み、前記連続コーティング中の各蛍光体が前記コーティング中に均一に分布されている請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記受容体層が曲面ガラスを含む請求項4記載の方法。
- 工程d)が、第1の蛍光体を有する供与体要素で第1の工程c)を実行し、次に第2の蛍光体を有する供与体要素で第2の工程c)を実行することにより行われるものであって、前記第1および第2の蛍光体は異なる蛍光体であり、前記第1の蛍光体は刺激されると、前記第2の蛍光体を刺激したときに前記第2の蛍光体により放出される光の波長とは異なる波長の可視放射線を放出する請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記堆積が、ガラススクリーンの凹表面になされる請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記熱供与体要素上の前記蛍光体が、蛍光体、帯電防止剤および有機ポリマーバインダーを含む層中にある請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記熱供与体要素上の前記蛍光体が、蛍光体および有機ポリマーバインダーを含む層中にある請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記熱供与体要素上の前記蛍光体が、蛍光体および有機ポリマーバインダーを含む層中にある請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記熱供与体要素上の前記蛍光体が、蛍光体、帯電防止剤および有機ポリマーバインダーを含む層中にある請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記熱供与体要素が、前記基材、発光材料の前記コーティングおよび別個の光から熱への変換層を含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記光から熱への変換層が、前記コーティングと前記基材との間、または前記基材の裏側のいずれかにある請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記光から熱への変換層が、工程(c)の最中、前記受容体に転写されない請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記コヒーレント放射線が、720nmから1100nmの間の近赤外または赤外領域の電磁スペクトルの波長を有する請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記受容体層が曲面ガラスを含み、前記連続コーティング内の各蛍光体が前記コーティング内に均一に分布されている請求項8記載の方法。
- 蛍光体は転写され、前記転写された蛍光体の寸法は、線幅が150マイクロメートル未満で、高さが0.5〜10マイクロメートルであり、前記蛍光体は粒子形態にあり、その粒子の少なくとも50個数%が少なくとも4マイクロメートルの直径を有する請求項2記載の方法。
- 蛍光体は転写され、前記転写された蛍光体の寸法は、線幅が150マイクロメートル未満で、高さが0.5〜10マイクロメートルであり、前記蛍光体は粒子形態にあり、その粒子の少なくとも50個数%が少なくとも4マイクロメートルの直径を有する請求項14記載の方法。
- 蛍光体は転写され、前記転写された蛍光体の寸法は、線幅が150マイクロメートル未満で、高さが0.5〜10マイクロメートルであり、前記蛍光体は粒子形態にあり、その粒子の少なくとも50個数%が少なくとも4マイクロメートルの直径を有する請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記受容体要素が、電界放出デバイス、プラズマディスプレイパネル、発光ダイオード、エレクトロルミネッセント要素および真空蛍光ディスプレイからなる群より選択される発光アレイである請求項2記載の方法。
- 接着剤が前記発光材料の上部にあり、前記発光材料の局所転写により、前記接着剤材料が前記発光材料と前記受容体との間になるように前記接着剤材料に局所転写も引き起こす請求項3記載の方法。
- 光から熱への変換層が前記基材と発光材料の前記コーティングとの間にあり、中間層が前記光から熱への変換層と発光材料の前記コーティングの間に配置されていて、前記発光材料の転写が前記光から熱への変換層の転写を引き起こさない請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記発光材料が無機材料である請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記発光材料が有機材料である請求項2記載の方法。
- 顔料層が前記発光材料の上部にあり、前記発光材料の局所転写により、前記顔料が前記発光材料と前記受容体との間になるように前記顔料に局所転写も引き起こす請求項3記載の方法。
