Abstract
Description
1)外側の層であって、アクリル樹脂、および、225nmより小さい平均粒子径を有する硬いコアのコア/シェル耐衝撃改質剤を外側の層の組成物全体に対して5〜60重量%含む層、
2)内側の層であって、熱可塑性樹脂、および、225nmまたは225nmよりも大きい平均粒子径を有する耐衝撃改質剤を内側の層の組成物全体に対して4〜60重量%含む層。
また、前記硬いコアは0℃を超えるTgを有するコアである。
高い光沢を有する表面は非常に平坦であるので、特定の方向にのみ光を反射させる。しかしながら、平坦ではない表面から反射した光は、曇った状態を有する表面からの反射の結果、特定の方向だけでなく、広い角度に反射する。曇った状態を有する表面の原因の一つは、表面とその近くの大きいサイズの粒子の存在である。大きい粒子は、表面に突き出て、小さい分子よりも表面の高さを変化させてしまう。
多層複合組成物により、非常に良好な光沢保持性能も得られた。本実験では、3つの複合シートを共押出成形した。表2にそれぞれの層の組成を示す。
Claims (19)
- 外側から内側に向かって、
a)外側の層であって、アクリルポリマーマトリックス、および、225nmより小さい平均粒子径を有しTgが0℃を超える、好ましくは25℃を超える、さらに好ましくは40℃を超える硬いコアのコア/シェル耐衝撃改質剤を外側の層の組成物全体に対して5〜60重量%含む層
および、
b)内側の層であって、熱可塑性ポリマーマトリックス、および、225nmまたは225nmよりも大きい平均粒子径を有する耐衝撃改質剤を内側の層の組成物全体に対して4〜60重量%含む層を、
含むアクリル多層組成物。 - 外側の層の前記アクリルポリマーマトリックスが50〜100重量%のメチルメタクリレートモノマー単位を含有する請求項1に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 内側の層の前記熱可塑性ポリマーマトリックスがポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、ポリスチレン、スチレン/アクリロニトリルコポリマー、ポリオレフィン、ポリ(塩化ビニル)、塩素化したポリ(塩化ビニル)、イミド化アクリルポリマーおよびアクリルポリマーから選択される請求項1または2に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーがアクリルポリマーマトリックスであり、50〜100重量%のメチルメタクリレートモノマー単位を含有する請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 前記内側の熱可塑性層がアクリルポリマーマトリックスであり、内側の層および外側の層のアクリルポリマーマトリックスが同一である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 内側の層および外側の層のアクリルポリマーマトリックスが異なるものである請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 内側の層および外側の層の少なくとも一つの前記アクリルポリマーマトリックスがフルオロポリマーおよび耐衝撃改質アクリルポリマーのブレンドである請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 前記外側の層の厚さが2.5μm〜2.5mmである請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 前記内側の層の厚さが25μm〜2.5cmである請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 前記外側の層は、前記硬いコアのコア/シェル耐衝撃改質剤を、外側の層の総重量に対して8〜40重量%含んでいる請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 外側の層の前記耐衝撃改質剤が50〜200nmの平均粒子径を有する請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 内側の層の両側に外側の層を有する請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層組成物。
- 1)以下のa)およびb)を外側から内側に向かって含むアクリル多層組成物
a)外側の層であって、アクリル樹脂、および、225nmより小さい平均粒子径を有する硬いコア/シェル耐衝撃改質剤を外側の層の組成物全体に対して5〜60重量%含む層
および、
b)内側の層であって、熱可塑性樹脂、および、225nmまたは225nmよりも大きい平均粒子径を有する耐衝撃改質剤を内側の層の組成物全体に対して4〜60重量%含む層、
ならびに、
2)基材
を外側から内側に含む多層複合体構造。 - 基材がプラスチック、金属、木材、ガラス、または、石材である請求項13に記載の多層複合体。
- プラスチック基材がポリアクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン、ポリアクリロニトリル−スチレン−アクリル、ポリカーボネート/ポリアクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン、高耐衝撃性ポリスチレン、ポリ塩化ビニル、熱可塑性オレフィン、ポリオレフィン、ポリスチレン、ポリスチレン−アクリロニトリル、ポリカーボネート、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、および、グリコール化ポリエステルからなる群から選択される請求項13または14に記載の多層複合体。
- 前記内側および外側の耐衝撃改質アクリル層からなる基材の反対側に、第二の内側の耐衝撃改質アクリル層、および、第二の外側の耐衝撃改質アクリル層を有する請求項13〜15のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル多層複合体。
- 請求項1に記載のアクリル多層組成物を備えた物品。
- フラットシートとして使用される、または、インモールド成形、吹き込み成形、シート成形、共押出成形、異形押出成形、または、熱成形により成形される請求項17に記載の物品。
- 温泉浴槽;カウンターのトップ;シンク;浴槽ライナーおよび浴槽の浴壁、浴床;自動車およびその他の車両構成部品、本体パネル、タイヤカバー、後部座席カバー、貨物ボックス、フェンダースカート、予備車輪カバーのようなあらゆるATV車(全地形対応車)またはRV車(レクリエーション用車)の構成部品、芝刈りトラクターの構成部品、エンジンを囲うカバー;艇体;コンピュータハウジング;携帯電話のケーシング、または、家電品(例えば洗濯機、冷蔵庫および食器洗い機)中の金属外装材の代用品である請求項17または18に記載の物品。
