Abstract
【解決手段】遠心油圧キャンセラ室を廃止すると、遠心油圧による出力側可変プーリ46の可動シーブ46bのベルト挟圧側への推力が大きくなることでベルト挟圧力が過大となるが、出力側油圧シリンダ46cの受圧面積SOUTを小さくすることで、ベルト挟圧力が過大になるのを抑制することができる。そして、安全率が1.5を越えない値にまで小さくしたことから、ベルトの耐久性悪化を避けることができ、これにより、上記従来の問題を避けつつ、実用的に遠心油圧キャンセラ室を廃止することができる。

Claims (1)
- 前進走行時において動力源の回転が減速されることなく入力される無段変速部を備え、かつ、セカンダリプーリ側の遠心油圧キャンセラ室を廃止した車両用ベルト式無段変速機であって、
プライマリプーリに対して設けられたプライマリ側シリンダに作動油を給排制御または調圧制御することにより該無段変速部を変速させるとともに、前記セカンダリプーリに対して設けられた単一の油圧室から成るセカンダリ側シリンダへの供給圧を調圧制御することにより前記プライマリプーリと該セカンダリプーリとの間に巻き掛けられたベルトのベルト挟圧力を調整するための油圧制御装置を備え、
前記油圧制御装置は、ライン圧と前記セカンダリ側シリンダへの供給圧とを独立して制御可能に構成され、
前記セカンダリ側シリンダのシリンダ受圧面積は、車両が最高速定地走行した場合において、前記セカンダリ側シリンダへの供給圧を予め定められた制御可能な最低圧としたときに得られるベルト挟圧力のベルト滑りに対する安全率が1.5を越えない値に設定されていることを特徴とする車両用ベルト式無段変速機。
