Abstract
Description
本発明は、プロセス計測及び制御産業に関する。より具体的には、本発明は、電磁流量計に関する。
流管中の導電性プロセス流体の流量を計測するために電磁流量計が使用される。導電性流体は、電磁石及び電極を通過して流れる。ファラデーの電磁誘導の法則によると、印加される磁場により、起電力(EMF)が流体中に誘導される。EMFは流体の流速に比例する。電極は、流管中に配置されて、流動する流体と電気的に接触する。電極が、流体中に電磁的に誘導されるEMFを感知すると、そのEMFを使用して流速を測定することができる。EMFは、電極間に接続されたフロントエンド差動増幅器を使用する流量計によって計測される。プロセス流体の電位が差動増幅器のための基準として使用される。この基準は必ずしもアースでなくてもよいことに注意すること。
電磁流量計は、プロセス流体に電気的に結合されるように適合された回路を含む。基準コンタクトが、流管内を流れるプロセス流体と接触するように構成されている。基準コンタクトと回路との間には、基準コンタクトを通過する電流の流量を減らすための電気部品が直列に設けられている。
プロセス中に存在する迷走電流に応答して増大した接地電極腐食抵抗を提供する電磁流量計が開示される。特に、本発明の実施態様は、一部のプロセス施設中に存在する迷走電流が接地電極を介してアースに流れることを制限又は抑制するように働く。
Claims (19)
- 計測回路、
流管、
流管内に配置され、計測回路に結合された少なくとも第一及び第二の電極、
計測回路に動作的に結合され、流管内のプロセス流体に電気的に結合するように配置された少なくとも一つの基準電極、及び
基準電極に結合され、計測回路に結合するように適合され、基準電極の腐食を減らすように構成された電流制限器
を含む電磁流量計。 - 基準電極が白金を含む、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 計測回路に動作的に結合され、プロセス流体に接触するように配置されたもう一つの基準電極をさらに含む、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 電流制限器が抵抗器を含む、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 抵抗器が約10Ω〜約150kΩの抵抗値を有する、請求項4記載の流量計。
- トランスミッタ回路を収容し、流管に結合されている導電性流量計ケースをさらに含み、電流制限器がケースに結合され、ケースがアースに結合されるように適合されている、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 基準電極が非導電性カプラを介して流管に結合されて基準電極を流管から電気的に絶縁している、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 計測回路が、第一の電極に結合された増幅器を含み、増幅器が、基準電極及び電流制限器を介してプロセス流体の電位に参照される、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 基準電極が接地リングを含む、請求項1記載の流量計。
- 電磁流量計のための流管であって、
非導電性内面を有する導電性管、
内面に配置され、プロセス流体と接触するように適合されている第一及び第二の電極、
導電性管に取り付けられ、それから電気的に絶縁され、プロセス流体に電気的に結合するように配置されている基準電極、及び
基準電極に電気的に結合するように構成され、計測回路に直列に結合するように適合されている電流制限器
を含む流管。 - 電流制限器が抵抗器である、請求項10記載の流管。
- 抵抗器が約10Ω〜約150kΩの抵抗値を有する、請求項10記載の流管。
- 基準電極が白金を含む、請求項10記載の流管。
- 基準電極が非導電性カプラを介して流管に取り付けられている、請求項10記載の流管。
- 基準電極が接地リングを含む、請求項10記載の流管。
- 電磁流量計中のプロセス流体の電位を感知するように構成された基準電極の腐食を減らす方法であって、
電流制限器を得ること、及び
電流制限器を基準電極及び流量計測回路と電気的に直列に配置すること
を含む方法。 - 電流制限器が抵抗器を含む、請求項16記載の方法。
- 抵抗器が約10Ω〜約150kΩの抵抗値を有する、請求項16記載の方法。
- 基準が接地リングを含む、請求項16記載の方法。
