Abstract
【解決手段】 このサーマルプリントヘッドAは絶縁基板上1に形成されたグレーズ層2と、上記グレーズ層2上に形成された抵抗体層3と上記抵抗体層3上に、上記抵抗体層3の一部を臨ませてその部分が発熱部7を形成するように形成された電極層4と、上記電極層4および発熱部7を覆うように形成された保護層5と、を備えており、上記保護層5は、Alを主成分として形成されており、上記発熱部7から所定距離以上離れた部分においては下層側の第1電極層4aと上層側の第2電極層4bとの2層構造を有しているとともに、上記発熱部7に隣接する部分においては上記2層構造部分の第2電極層4bが延出させられた1層構造を有しており、かつ、上記第1電極層4aの厚みは0.5〜2.0μmであり、上記第2電極層4bの厚みは0.2〜0.4μmである。

Claims (6)
- 絶縁基板上に形成されたグレーズ層と、
上記グレーズ層上に形成された抵抗体層と、
上記抵抗体層上に、上記抵抗体層の一部を臨ませてその部分が発熱部を形成するように形成された電極層と、
上記電極層および上記発熱部を覆うように形成された保護層と、
を備えたサーマルプリントヘッドであって、
上記電極層は、Alを主成分として形成されており、上記発熱部から所定距離以上離れた部分においては下層側の第1電極層と上層側の第2電極層との2層構造を有しているとともに、上記発熱部に隣接する部分においては上記2層構造部分の上記第2電極層が延出させられた1層構造を有しており、かつ、上記第1電極層の厚みは0.5〜2.0μmであり、上記第2電極層の厚みは0.2〜0.4μmであることを特徴とする、サーマルプリントヘッド。 - 上記抵抗体層の厚みは500〜1000Åであり、上記保護層の厚みは6〜10μmである、請求項1に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド。
- 上記グレーズ層には、膨隆部が形成されており、上記発熱部が上記膨隆部上に位置するように形成されている、請求項1または2に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド。
- 上記膨隆部においては、上記発熱部に隣接するように上記第2電極層が形成されている、請求項3に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド。
- 上記膨隆部を間に挟む、上記第1電極層の両端部は、1〜10μmのテーパ部が設けられている、請求項4に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド。
- 上記第1電極層と上記第2電極層との2層構造になっている領域において、上記保護層が絶縁層で覆われている、請求項3ないし5のいずれかに記載のサーマルプリントヘッド。
