Abstract
【解決手段】 (A)熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対して、(B)非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム30〜300質量部、(C)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンが、下記平均組成式(1)で表される平均重合度が2000〜30000のオルガノポリシロキサン0.1〜50質量部を配合してなることを特徴とするノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。

Description
表面処理した水酸化マグネシウムを使用する(特許文献1〜3参照)。樹脂に水酸化マグネシウム及びオルガノポリシロキサンを配合する(特許文献4〜6参照)。また、本発明者らは熱可塑性樹脂、水酸化マグネシウム、高重合度のジメチルオルガノポリシロキサン及びビニル基含有オイル状オルガノポリシロキサンの混合物に加えて、貴金属触媒を配合した場合、より高い難燃性を示すことを示した(特許文献7参照)。
RaSiO4−a/2 (1)
(式中Rは炭素数1〜10の非置換又は置換の一価炭化水素基であり、aは1.9≦a≦2.1の数。)従来の結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウムで見られていた凝集による硬化、分散不良や引張伸びの極端な低下といった欠点は見られなくなり、結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウムを配合した組成物と同等以上の難燃性を示す。また高重合度のジメチルオルガノポリシロキサンを熱可塑性樹脂と結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウムと併用した場合に見られる引張強度の低下も改善されることを確認し本発明を完成した。
RaSiO4−a/2 (1)
(式中Rは水酸基または、炭素数1〜10の非置換又は置換の一価炭化水素基であり、aは1.9≦a≦2.1の数。)
(A)成分としてEVA樹脂(エバフレックス460、三井デュポンポリケミカル株式会社製)100質量部に対し、(B)成分として表1に示した各種水酸化マグネシウム原材料を、(C)成分として下記式で示される高重合度ジメチルポリシロキサンを表2及び表3中の割合で配合し、ラボプラストミルR250ミキサー(東洋精機社製)に入れ、150℃、30rpm、10分の条件で混合後、ペレットとして押出した後、150℃、1分間、1mm厚にプレス成形することにより、試験用シートを作製した。このシートをJIS−K 7113における1号形試験片ダンベルで打ち抜き試験片を作り、JIS−K 7113に準じて引張強度と伸びを測定した。また試験用シートを長さ150mm、幅20mmに切り抜き、JIS−K 7201に準じて酸素消費指数を求めた。(測定結果は表2、表3に記載)
*サイズの分布測定方法:水酸化マグネシウムのサンプルを0.1gと界面活性剤エマルゲン109P(花王株式会社製商品名)0.3gを水20mlに分散後、レーザー回析法測定装置(CILAS社製 HR−850型)を用いて粒径分布を求めた。
(1)キスマ8:結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム(協和化学工業株式会社製) 平均粒径 1.7μm
(2)キスマ5A:結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム(協和化学工業株式会社製) 平均粒径 0.8μm
(3)マグニフィンH−5GV:結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム(アルベマール株式会社製) 平均粒径 0.8μm
(4)マグシーズN−4:結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム(神島化学工業株式会社製) 平均粒径 0.9μm
(5)MGZ−3:微細な酸化マグネシウムに二酸化炭素を含まない水を反応させたもの(堺化学工業株式会社製) 平均粒径 0.1μm
(6)UD−650:非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム(宇部マテリアルズ株式会社製) 平均粒径 3.2μm
(7)日本海水加工社製水酸化マグネシウム:非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム(日本海水加工株式会社製) 平均粒径 5.0μm
(8)UD−650分級物A:UD−650を、分級機TTSPセパレータ(ホソカワミクロン株式会社製)にて分級した第2分画 平均粒径 0.4μm
(9)UD−650分級物B:UD−650を、分級機TTSPセパレータ(ホソカワミクロン株式会社製)にて分級した第1分画 平均粒径 7.0μm
引張強度 :JIS−K 7113に準拠して測定した。
伸び :JIS−K 7113に準拠して測定した。
酸素消費指数:JIS−K 7201に準拠して測定した。
配合割合を(A)EVA100質量部(B)水酸化マグネシウム94質量部(C)高重合度ジメチルポリシロキサン6質量部を上記した方法にて配合した場合の価格を下記の基準で評価した。
評価判断
○ : キスマ5A使用の組成物の3/4未満の価格
△ : キスマ5A使用の組成物の3/4〜同額の価格
× : キスマ5A使用の組成物より高い
Claims (6)
- (A)熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対して、(B)非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウム30〜300質量部、(C)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンが、下記平均組成式(1)で表される平均重合度が2000〜30000のオルガノポリシロキサン0.1〜50質量部を配合してなることを特徴とするノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。

(式中Rは水酸基または炭素数1〜10の非置換又は置換の一価炭化水素基から選ばれる基であり、aは1.9≦a≦2.1の数。) - (B)成分の非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウムが、海水やにがりに含まれるマグネシウム塩水溶液にアルカリを加えた後、結晶成長はさせずにコロイド状沈殿をつくり、コロイド沈殿を洗浄、乾燥した水酸化マグネシウムからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウムが、粒子径が2〜40μmの水酸化マグネシウムと粒子径0.01〜1.99μmの水酸化マグネシウムが25:75〜99:1の割合で存在してなる水酸化マグネシウムであることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至2の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の非結晶成長型水酸化マグネシウムが、粒子径が2〜40μmの水酸化マグネシウムが、粒子径が0.01〜1.99μmの水酸化マグネシウム1次粒子が凝集してできた2次粒子であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (A)成分の熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリオレフィン樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
