問題を持つ対戦ゲームに基づくエンタテイメントプロセ
スに関する。

【従来の技術】プレーヤの音楽知識に基づくゲームは、
従来から特にラジオまたはテレビゲームとして知られて
いる。たとえば、プレーヤが歌手の名前や、一部が再生
される曲の題名や次に出現する歌詞を答えなければなら
ない問答式のゲームである。このようなゲームでは、ゲ
ームの前に質問事項を用意し、ゲームは一人のプレーヤ
によって、または、テレビゲームの場合には同じ場所で
かつ同じ問題について対戦する複数のプレーヤによって
行われる。

Claims (18)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 多項選択式対戦ゲームに基づくエンター
    ティメントシステムであって、 少なくとも１つのターミナルと、 レコーディングを再生する手段と、ユーザと対話する手
    段と、ターミナルユーザに質問をし複数の解答選択肢を
    提供する手段とを含む少なくとも１つのターミナル
    （２、３）において任意の時間レコーディングの一部を
    再生する手段とを含み、 質問はレコーディングの一部を表わしている情報に関係
    しており、レコーディングはターミナルユーザから独立
    した手段によって選択されることを特徴とするエンタテ
    イメントシステム。
  2. 【請求項２】 再生されるレコーディング部分と、この
    レコーディング部分を表わしている情報に関する質問を
    作成するのに必要な情報と、複数の解答選択肢が、ター
    ミナル（２）の保存手段に保存されているデータベース
    に保存されていることを特徴とする請求項１に記載のエ
    ンタテイメントシステム。
  3. 【請求項３】 ターミナルがリモートサーバ（１）への
    接続手段（２１、３１）を含むことを特徴とする請求項
    １に記載のエンタテイメントシステム。
  4. 【請求項４】 再生されるレコーディング部分と、この
    レコーディング部分を表わしている情報に関する質問を
    作成するのに必要な情報と、複数の解答選択肢が、サー
    バ（１）の保存手段に保存されているデータベースに保
    存されることを特徴とする請求項３に記載のエンタテイ
    メントシステム。
  5. 【請求項５】 各ターミナルがターミナル（２、３）の
    ユーザが与えた答えを選択し検証する手段、ユーザが選
    択した答えを表わしている情報を含む結果ファイル（１
    ５、２５、３５）を更新する検証手段を含み、このファ
    イルがターミナル（２、３）またはサーバ（１）によっ
    て使われて各ユーザが挙げたスコアをカウントし、少な
    くとも１つのターミナルの複数のユーザを潜在的に格付
    けすることを特徴とする請求項２または４に記載のエン
    タテイメントシステム。
  6. 【請求項６】 再生されるレコーディング部分と、この
    レコーディング部分を表わしている情報に関する質問を
    作成するのに必要な情報と、複数の解答選択肢が、ター
    ミナル（２）の保存手段またはターミナル（３）が接続
    されているリモートサーバ（１）の保存手段に保存され
    ているデータベースに保存されることを特徴とする請求
    項１または４に記載のエンタテイメントシステム。
  7. 【請求項７】 質問で使われるレコーディングを表わし
    ている情報、または質問、または結果ファイル、または
    再生されるレコーディングのログファイルを抽出可能メ
    モリ媒体またはモバイルコンピュータ内蔵オブジェクト
    またはスマートカードに記憶するための記憶手段を含む
    ことを特徴とする請求項１または４に記載のエンタテイ
    メントシステム。
  8. 【請求項８】 質問で使われるレコーディングを表わし
    ている情報、または質問、または結果ファイル、または
    再生されるレコーディングのログファイルを抽出可能メ
    モリ媒体、モバイルコンピュータ内蔵オブジェクト、ま
    たはスマートカードから読み出すための読み出し手段を
    含むことを特徴とする請求項１または４に記載のエンタ
    テイメントシステム。
  9. 【請求項９】 任意の時間レコーディングの一部を再生
    手段を備えたターミナルで再生するステップと、ターミ
    ナルユーザから独立して選択されるレコーディングの一
    部に関係した質問が、複数の解答選択肢と共にターミナ
    ル（２、３）の対話手段を使って作成されるステップと
    を含むことを特徴とする多項選択式競争ゲームに基づく
    エンタテイメントプロセス。
  10. 【請求項１０】 プロセスがリモートサーバ（１）との
    接続手段（２１、３１）を含むターミナルを使うことを
    特徴とする請求項９に記載のエンタテイメントプロセ
    ス。
  11. 【請求項１１】 各ユーザの挙げたスコアをカウントし
    かつ少なくとも１つのターミナルの複数のユーザを潜在
    的に格付けするのに使われ、対話手段を使ってユーザが
    選択した答えを表わしている情報を含め、結果ファイル
    （１５、２５、３５）が各ターミナルによって記憶され
    る、あるいは専用サーバ（１）に送られるステップもプ
    ロセスが含むことを特徴とする請求項９または１０に記
    載のエンタテイメントプロセス。
  12. 【請求項１２】 対話手段を使って質問が作成されるス
    テップの前に支払いステップが実施されることを特徴と
    する請求項９または１０に記載のエンタテイメントプロ
    セス。
  13. 【請求項１３】 既定の情報が集められるレコーディン
    グが、ターミナルまたはターミナル（３）が接続されて
    いるリモートサーバ（１）に保存されているデータベー
    スにおいて任意に選択されることを特徴とする請求項９
    に記載のエンタテイメントプロセス。
  14. 【請求項１４】 一部が抽出されるレコーディングの選
    択がデータベースに含まれる特定のタイプのレコーディ
    ングから行われることを特徴とする請求項１３に記載の
    エンタテイメントプロセス。
  15. 【請求項１５】 レコーディングの一部が質問の画面で
    再生されるたびにログファイルが更新され、さらにログ
    ファイルはレコーディングの識別とレコーディングが再
    生された回数を含み、ログファイルが様々な各請求権者
    に支払われるべきロイヤルティを計算するサーバ（１）
    に定期的に送られることを特徴とする請求項９、または
    １０、または１３、または１４に記載のエンタテイメン
    トプロセス。
  16. 【請求項１６】 ジョーカが選択され確認されるステッ
    プを含み、このステップはさらにユーザが答えを見つけ
    やすいように質問および／または複数選択解答が修正さ
    れるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項９、または
    １０、または１３、または１４に記載のエンタテイメン
    トプロセス。
  17. 【請求項１７】 ジョーカが選択確認される、または変
    更された質問および／または複数解答が表示されるステ
    ップの前に一定数のジョーカを取得するために一定金額
    を支払うようにユーザに求める支払いステップが実施さ
    れることを特徴とする請求項９、または１０、または１
    ３、または１４に記載のエンタテイメントプロセス。
  18. 【請求項１８】 質問で使われるレコーディングを表わ
    している情報、または質問、または結果ファイル、また
    はログファイルが抽出可能メモリ媒体から読まれ、また
    は抽出可能メモリ媒体に記憶されるステップと、質問を
    表わしている情報または結果ファイルが比較または結合
    されて、少なくとも１つのターミナルの複数のユーザを
    格付けするステップとを含むことを特徴とする請求項
    ９、または１０、または１３、または１４に記載のエン
    タテイメントプロセス。
