EN VIRTUD DEL INVENTO, EL CIRCUITO INTEGRADO PRIORITARIO MAXIMIZA LA DISPONIBILIDAD DE LA CAN, PUES POR UNA PARTE REALIZA UNA FUNCION TRANSCEPTORA CON TOLERANCIA A LOS FALLOS DEL BUS, QUE PERMITE ESTABLECER UNA COMUNICACION AUNQUE APAREZCA UN FALLO EN ESTE, Y POR OTRO LADO PERMITE LA PRESENCIA DE MEDIOS DE RECONOCIMIENTO Y TRATAMIENTO DE FALLOS DEL BUS, QUE EN CASO DE APARECER UN FALLO LIBERAN EL BUS DE SUS TERMINACIONES NORMALES DE ABONADO Y CAMBIAN LAS TERMINACIONES. DE ESTA MANERA SE EVITA EN EL MANTENIMIENTO DE UNA CAPACIDAD DE COMUNICACION - QUE SOBRE TODO EN CAN MUY GRANDES FLUYAN POR TODO EL BUS CORRIENTES PARASITARIAS PROCEDENTES DE ABONADOS EN EL LUGAR DEL FALLO, QUE EN CASO DE UN SISTEMA DE BUS SOPORTADO POR BATERIA LIMITEN LA DISPONIBILIDAD DE LA RED AL MOMENTO DE AGOTAMIENTO DE LA BATERIA.
