Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for dataoverføring, samt et radio- system som omfatter minst en abonnentterminal (200) og minst en basestasjon (100) som omfatteren antenne (140, 141) som basestasjonen sender signaler til abonnentterminalen ved hjelp av. Abonnentterminalen (200) omfatter en målean- ordning (230) som bestemmer kvaliteten av signalene som mottas av abonnent- terminalen, ved å sammenligne de mottatte signalene med minst ett terskelnivå for signalkvalitet. Når bare ett signal overskrider terskelen, sender abonnenttermi- nalen (200) til den basestasjon (100) som utsendte signalet som overskred terske- len, en kommando om å benytte, når et signal blir sendt til denne abonnenttermi- nalen, den antenne som signalet som overskred terskelen, ble sendt med, eller den senderetning som signalet som overskred terskelen, ble sendt i.
